Cozy Riverfront Cabin with Outdoor Cedar Shower near Route 66 in St. Robert, Missouri

This is an adorable tiny cabin tucked into the trees and overlooking the beautiful Big Piney River with river access for tubing, fishing, or swimming. Experience a true glamping experience! One room cozy cabin with two queen-size beds. Nice outdoor restroom and amazing cedar outdoor shower house with hot water and panoramic views of the river, an outdoor sink, and picnic area with large firepit and seating.



Our property is conveniently located a few minutes off I-44 and minutes from Route 66.



The space:

Sit on the front porch and drink your coffee, watching the sun rise over the water, making the most beautiful turquoise glow as far as you can see!



One room cozy cabin with two queen-size beds (one bed is a top bunk with a ladder to climb)



Nice, clean outdoor restroom with a composting toilet and an amazing cedar outdoor shower house with hot water and a full view of the river! Outdoor spigot with fresh, potable water. Ice cold A/C or heat, depending on the season. Couch, small table with seating for two, small dry kitchen with storage, gas cook-top stove inside the cabin, small refrigerator, and freezer. Outdoor sink with cold water for doing dishes or cleaning fish. Large front porch with seating. Several games to choose from for lazy nights in the cabin. Very large fire-pit (firewood available for purchase) with large, comfy Adirondack chairs. Outdoor picnic table with umbrella.



The driveway for the cabin is 4x4 accessible if you're comfortable driving on very steep, narrow inclines with room to turn around at the top, but there is room for one vehicle at the bottom of the road, and then you can walk over to the cabin if you don't have 4x4.



Our property is conveniently located a few minutes off I-44 and minutes from Route 66. Because of the location, you will be able to hear a slight sound of traffic in the background.



There are several floating outfitters in the area that can set you up with a relaxing float of the beautiful Big Piney River. Sit and cool off in the river or relax next to a bonfire on the large sandbar across the river while the kids splash in the water.



10 minutes to Walmart or Fort Leonard Wood, 5 minutes to the nearest gas station and Dollar General, Uranus roadside attraction, mini golf, and several kayaking outfitters.



You will have access to the whole cabin, porch, and all the areas at the top around the cabin. Outdoor shower, outdoor restroom, outdoor sink, fire pit, and yard area. There is a path with some stone steps going down toward the road. From the road, you can access any part of the river you would like. There is a small rock bar towards the I-44 bridge, a little way past the cabin. We also own the large sand bar across the river that you are welcome to float or swim to and enjoy the afternoon swimming or picnicking. You can also walk down to the bridge and take a short tube float back to the cabin.



The opposite direction from the bridge, about a 1/2 mile down, you will find a rope swing for cooling off. We also offer float trips with kayaks or jet boat rides, followed by a several-mile tube float.



Things to Note

You will need a 4x4 to drive all the way up to the cabin; otherwise, you will have to park at the bottom of the access road and walk over to the cabin. (About 100 yards)



We have 2 queen beds in this cabin, but one is lofted, and you will have to climb a ladder to access it.
