The resort itself was fine. The communication with this host was non-existent. After payment, she took our party’s information. After, that there was no communication at all. For Aulani, you have to book activities, dining, kid’s group activities well in advance. In order to do that, you have to download the Aulani app and you need a confirmation number for your resort reservation. I was not given a confirmation number until about a week before our trip. Aulani lets you make reservations 90 days in advance. So, we were not able to get any meal reservations, book the luau, reserve any kid’s activities. So, basically the trip was a waste in many ways. I tried messaging and calling the host for weeks without them ever getting back to me. If you want to experience anything Aulani has to offer besides getting a hotel room, please save yourself the anguish and book directly with Disney, or with another host.

Great spot!

My family and I loved our time at this Aulani VRBO. Super easy process from booking to checking out. We would love to stay here again! Highly recommend!

Disney Aulani

Wonderful stay at the Aulani resort. We had a nice studio accommodation that fit my family of 4 with spacious bathroom. It had all your standard amenities with fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. We were in one of the main towers and nicely situated close to one of the pools on the first level which made it very convenient to get a nice spot/ pool chair early on. The pool chair situation is annoying, like many Disney resorts, there’s just not enough and some folks can be very aggressive, so having an early start to your day is recommended if you want a chair. If you don’t need a pool chair (like us we spent our time in the pool with the kids anyway), they have cubbies you can put your essentials in. While most of the Disney activities were pre-reserved an no longer available, we did get to make Mickey ears, sing karaoke, hear the storytelling and take pictures with characters. If you plan on feeding the fish you need to get in line by 7:15a or party may be split. There’s two water slides, a lazy river, several pools, and 3 main restaurants with a 4th that offers to-go food. They were all your pretty standard Disney hotel fare. We did enjoy the AMA AMA four course meal and wine pairing. It’s beautiful and the perfect vacation to let your kids run wild and for you and your partner to relax as long as you don’t mind other families. The staff was courteous, the check in process took awhile because of the volume of guests, but is just as if it is your hotel reservation.

Great stay!

The host was very responsive at booking and provided detailed instructions for check-in. The host was able to provide the dates we requested last minute for a busy holiday weekend. The check-in was seamless and I was even able to bypass the front desk and use the Aulani app to unlock the hotel room door. I highly recommend using this host!

Wonderful resort and host

Host communication was always fast and friendly. The resort was great for our family and we had access to all the resort activities. Our kids loved that waterpark, the luau, and all the characters around the grounds. The view of the ocen was awesome.

Spring vacation

Great room! The place was really nice and it was a pleasure staying here. Great experience for my Little boy experiencing all the Disney characters and this amazing resort was awesome. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. We would love to come back. The room was very nice the staff was very attentive and friendly and they even offered a high chair for my son and everything worked out perfect all the cards fell into play. I really thank Samantha Do a lot for this stay.

Great Disney resort!

Great stay here. We are already planning to come back. Great pool with a lazy river and slide, lots of amenities. Rooms are a decent size with a nice balcony. The host was very responsive before and during the trip!

The resort and room were amazing. The cleanliness of this resort was amazing. Plentiful activities. Everything was wonderful. The food was also delicious somewhat over priced but it is a Disney resort so that is to be expected.
