The Great Room boasts a stunning beamed Cathedral ceiling, complete with a floor-to-ceiling Wisconsin River Rock walled fireplace, large flat screen television with seating for eight. The open floor plan, which includes the dining room and gourmet kitchen, creates the perfect space for entertaining both small and large groups. Directly off of the Great Room is a 1000 sq foot wrap-around deck that enables guests to easily relax, entertain and/or dine in both spaces simultaneously.

Complete with beautiful furnishings, flat screen TVs, Gas BBQ, large outdoor space, private waterfront access and boathouse with a private dock access, this impeccably maintained home will impress even the most discriminating of renters.

Whether it’s a private family getaway, a multifamily vacation or a corporate retreat, guests of all ages will never want to leave this spectacular resort-style home.

Family getaway

We had a great time at this beautiful spacious cabin! It had all of the amenities there for our grandchildren to play with along with things for the adults also. Great cove to float, kayak or just relax by. We highly recommend this cabin!

Perfect Lake House!

Beautiful Lake Home

Our family had a wonderful weekend on Lake Freeman. The home was beautiful and had many activities for us to do: kayaking, paddle boarding, corn hole, roasted marshmallows. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook all meals there. We really enjoyed our weekend.

Extended family trip

We had a very short weekend, but this home had everything we needed and more. Including an iron that I used! Beautiful home! Parking is the only issue if you have more than 4 cars.

Great house!!! We had 7 children and 6 adults and it was perfect for our family!

We loved this lake house! From the nice furnishings to the games provided, to the water mat and kayaks , to the 3 car garage, it was perfect for our family of 6 adults and 7 grandkids!

Fun family vacation

This house is absolutely gorgeous. Our whole family had a wonderful time fishing off the deck, cruising around on the boat and just relaxing inside! Communication was always prompt and friendly! We will definietly be staying again

We've stayed at this lake house two years in a row and plan to go again next year.. we love it

We stay here with our extended family and friends every father's day weekend and the following few days.. there's room for everyone to be comfortable and plenty to do.. the owners have thought if everything from the house to the outdoor activities..we take our boat and wave runner and the private dock makes for easy access to the lake.. we'll be back again next year and for years to come

A wonderful family experience!

Early this month, our 4 kids, their spouses & kids all had a bonding & fun weekend at this luxurious Lake Freeman cabin. We intermixed cabin activities with pontoon rides, plus plenty of tasty meals & conversations of past memories. All of us had not been together like this for years…and it is a new memory for everyone. Hats off to the cabin owners & facility manager for helping us maximize all the available cabin amenities, including pontoon training, games, BBQ grill, campfire area, lake floats, and more.

Relaxing

Family had a wonderful time. Master bathroom was the only disappointment - Shower water pressure was bad and the tub jets didn't work, but we managed. Home was as described and very clean. Very spacious and we really enjoyed the lake and fishing with grandkids. The firepit at night was relaxing as well.

Property was above expectations.

Wonderful lake house. Our family was there for a Purdue graduation. We all fell in love. The house is well equipped to say the least. Beautiful property. Mike is top notch. Would definitely rent again.

Wonderful Family Weekend

We had a wonderful time staying at the Rustic Luxury Estate on Lake Freeman. The house is fully stocked with everything you can imagine. The lily pad for the lake was an added bonus and the kids and adults enjoyed all the water toys provided. There was so much to do inside and out. Brian and Alison were exceptionally responsive to all our questions leading up our stay. We would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a Great Lake get away and we hope to be back next summer.

Family Vacation

This is a very nice home. Mike and his wife were vey nice, easy to contact if necessary, he brought extra firewood for the firepit. Kitchen was nicely equipped and plenty of supplies - ie: paper towels, dish soap, d/w soap. And cooking supplies - ie: salt/peppet/seasonings/oil, etc. Highly recommend this rental especially for groups or families.

great all wooden home

This home lacks nothing. Five comfortable bedrooms and large expansive family room area. Enormous deck overlooks lake. Large backyard with stream running down the middle of the back yard. You are located at the south end of Lake Freeman with very little boat traffic.

Will be Back

Our Family only gets together a few times every year and this home was what our Family needed. Enough room for all family members. House was clean and owners were easy to talk to and great communicators. House has all the water toys you need to have fun they even supply wood for camp fires. Will be back next year.

Sibling reunion

5 siblings 50-60 met with a few spouses. Parking was perfect house and refrigerators were great. We cooked all meals in great kitchen. Loved space, bedrooms and bathrooms. Pontoon, kayak and paddle boards were great. Lake pad was a hit! Only suggestion from group was remind guests to bring beach towels. Thank you for a great reunion location.

Beautiful home and well kept

Even though it rained 3 out of 4 days we were there, the house is an excelent place to stay, grand kids played on the kiyacks and paddle boat, aduts sat under the balcony and enjoyed the scenery and small brook, very relaxing. Big screen TV to watch Blackhawks win. Kitchen has everything, huge refrigerator . We did not feel cramped with 13 people. 20 mins from Indiana Beach

Great Location, dock & Well Equipped home

4 Generations stayed the week with grandma, our four kids families and 4 young grandkids. Well stocked with supplies and everything we needed including laundry, kitchen, and bathroom supplies. Great location on the cove of the lake, nice dock area for our boat, with a shallow play area for everyone, enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards, nice backyard that we used for a blow up pool, house had games and toys for the kids which were very useful, extra frig/freezer in garage was awesome, indoor parking for 3 vehicles was nice but a little crowded outside for 3 other smaller vehicles, master hottub/bath jets did not work, gas fireplace did not work, not a great location if you have mobility issues due to several steps and multilevel, but overall one of our favorite locations we've stayed out in the area. We we will definitely consider this location again for our next stay.

Allison and Brian began working with Mike (the builder of the house) during 2019. Mike lives in Monticello, IN, on Lake Freeman, just north of the rental home, but we have taken over most of the day to day management of the property. We all love to entertain and meet new people. We also love to vacation and enjoy meeting others who love to vacation as well.

Our home provides amenities not normally included in most rental homes. We find it very accommodating.
