Enjoy the best of both worlds... a quiet setting surrounded by national forest, hiking trails, and a 10-minute stroll to Oak Creek at Crescent Moon Ranch Park, yet just a scenic 10-minute drive from West Sedona's grocery stores, restaurants, etc. Enjoy your own completely private suite with external entrance and balcony with a beautiful view of Pyramid Rock, plus the convenience of on-site, award-winning Superhosts to help you make the most of your stay. Spacious, private, and just a quarter mile to Oak Creek and the 2nd most photographed spot in Arizona (Red Rock Crossing), this is the larger of 2 private suites on the property. It's nestled in one of the very few neighborhoods that is by the creek, but away from the noisy highway. This approximately 375 sq. ft. retreat includes a top-of-the-line king-size bed, 2 comfy recliners, full bathroom, private balcony with beautiful view of Pyramid Rock, and kitchenette with mini-fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tea kettle, toaster, organic coffee, tea, and instant oatmeal for a light self-serve breakfast, plus snacks. To help you explore Sedona's gorgeous trails, the suite has guide books, walking sticks, portable folding chairs, etc. Relaxing licensed massage is available right next door. Our home is luxurious and eco-friendly, with cast earth and straw bale walls and solar heating in the main house, a certified wildlife habitat and beautiful wetland for water disposal, and cruelty-free toiletries, recycled paper products, delicious well water, and more. You will have full access to your own private suite with its own external entrance, balcony, kitchenette, restroom, and parking space. You are also free to walk around on the grounds and enjoy the patio, pond, and lawn. Access to storage and laundry facilities can be granted upon request. We live in the main house (which shares one wall with the suite) and will give you a personal orientation when you arrive. We'll share helpful tips as long-time Sedona residents and Superhosts. We've been hosting on other sites since 2005 and have received awards and hundreds of 5-star reviews. We are also happy to save you time by arranging fun Jeep tours for you, if you like. Otherwise, we fully honor your privacy, but are available to answer any questions you might have. Our neighborhood has an ideal blend of nature and convenience. It's surrounded by national forest and great, uncrowded hiking trails, and just a 10 minute stroll from popular Crescent Moon Ranch Park (home of Oak Creek and Red Rock Crossing, the 2nd most photographed spot in Arizona). The park is wonderful for strolling, photography, birding, wading, and swimming. Our neighborhood is one of the very few that is by the creek, but away from the noisy highway. Nights are quiet enough to hear an occasional coyote howling in the distance and often pure silence. Yet, it's also just a scenic 10-minute drive from grocery stores, restaurants, and other amenities in West Sedona. Surrounded by national forest, our neighborhood is visited by many kinds of wildlife--bobcats, coyotes, javelinas, deer, cardinals, owls, and more. If you're lucky, you might see or here some! We love it here and think you will too! No major public transportation is available in Sedona. A car is necessary. You will have your own free, dedicated, off-street parking space very close to the suite. The suite is up one flight of stairs. Although our beloved dog Buddy is shown in some of the photos, he has since passed away and there is currently no dog on site.
