If you are looking for a vacation property that's truly in the heart of Wrightsville Beach, then make Dockside your next vacation rental! This 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath sound front duplex home is located on Channel Drive, just steps to all of the happenings of Wrightsville Beach. Enter the property and to your right you will find 3 spacious bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a king bed and shares a Jack n Jill bathroom with bedroom 2 that offers a queen bed. The master bedroom is across the hall. It offers a king bed and private master bath with stand up shower, double vanity, and Jacuzzi tub. Step down the hall and find yourself in the main living area. Here the open floor plan includes the living area, dining area, and kitchen making spending family time or entertaining a breeze. Step out onto the deck and enjoy the cool breezes and the views of Banks Channel. This home has a private 30 ft boat slip that is included with the rental along with use of the gazebo. We had a very nice stay. The host was great and allowed for an early check in which was very nice. The place was a little tired and couldReally benefit from some updates. Overall it was a good stay. The view from the outdoor deck was great.

Delightful Dockside!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at the Dockside- great location for easy access to restaurants, bars and shopping; beach access is a breeze! We especially loved the dock and outside amenities. The covered porch was a favorite place, had lots of room and seating- great views for a sunset and 4th of July fireworks!

Great location and great home overall. My family and I enjoyed the beach and the views of the intracoastal waterway. Would definitely return. Biggest need for the home is cookware as what is there is minimal and in bad shape. Thanks and happy to discuss directly if needed.

The house is very nice with a great front/river side porch. The location is great to walk places, even the beach. There are a few bars right behind so some noise but not bad. Overall we jad a really good stay.

The Dockside was a great space for our family vacation!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our family (5 adults) came to Wrightsville Beach for a wedding and a short family vacay! The Dockside was a spacious retreat with amazing views of the sunset and night sky. We spent equal time on the dock as well as the beach. The back deck was our favorite spot to unwind and relax! The location is very busy so be mindful and adjust drive time accordingly. It is walking distance of restaurants, coffee spots and shops! My only real complaint is that if guests want to cook much- pots/pans/cookware are a bit worn and could use an upgrade! Overall we had a wonderful experience and would return again if traveling to Wrightsville!

Great location!!! Great dock for fishing and boating. Be aware of tides if your boat has a T-top due to bridge clearance…which the leasing agent made clear to me before arrival. Also, agent was SUPER helpful and accommodating allowing me to store my trailer offsite and coming over to turn on dock water.

Great location

Loved the house. Best location and beautiful views. Only complaint would be the lights in kitchen, dining room and porch did not work properly. Otherwise, highly recommend.

If you are looking for luxury, this is NOT the rental for you. The furniture and appliances are very dated. Showers / bathrooms need to be re-done. ( broken tiles,shower heads old, ). The door handle to the outside porch( which is the properties saving grace) fell off on our third day. Someone from the office came out to " fix it" but it fell off 5 minutes after he left! Hehad to use pliers to pull it shut from the outside. Why a professional wasn't sent is beyond me. The closets and bedrooms were large but in the primary closet there were old,, musty smelling quilts and pillows. The towels they provided were small and of poor quality( I would suggest bringing your own). The view was wonderful and it was nice being able to walk to restaurants.bars, and Robert's grocery. While the space was wonderful, the quality of furniture, linens, and lack of kitchen utensils make this a place we would not rent again. Especially for the high rental price.

So much fun to have pier with gazebo! Kids enjoyed fishing and swimming off the dock. House is in good shape needing very minor updates/repairs. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Missing light bulbs Labels on shower doors incorrect Kitchen not organized and drawers cabinets not very clean. Or too much of a problem for us as we ate most meals out. Layout of house was great. Walls had lots of picture hooks that looked like someone had recently stripped the home and perhaps new owners had hurriedly rented it We enjoyed the porch overlooking the sound

Wrightsville family vacations 2021

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had to make our beds upon arrival. Did not appreciate that.Back side of house, there is a parking lot and then 2 bars. Very noisy and woke us up twice even with windows closed and AC on. A lot of illumination too from the road and bars.Loved the deck and view. Really enjoyed that. Convenient to everything but 3 or 4 houses further down would have been more peaceful.No oils or spices AT ALL! You need to bring everything you need if you plan to cook anything. Limited kitchen supplies. Super small driveway. Parking a GMC crew cab Sierra was very difficult to park OFF the street.Various lights were blown out and needed replacement. Doors and keys were difficult to use. Booking was convoluted. Booked online then had to re-do cc info via phone.

The good: the location was convenient and the house itself provided adequate space for me my wife and 2 daughters. The dock area was nice and the view of the sound was lovely. Walking to the beach and area shops/restaurants was easy and nice. We had an issue with the porch door which the rental company was responsive in instructing how to open. The bad: the unit was in need of TLC. The door handle to the outside porch was defective and nearly off. I could open it but unable to lock it due to damage. Quilts furniture and pillows were old and musty. The kitchenware was a random assortment of scratched teflon pans an mismatched silverware (no baking sheets). The shower head in the master bathroom was duct taped in place and operated poorly. The ugly: The unit was directly behind a college dive bar that partied late past noise curfew, until after 2am on Fri/Sat. making for a lot of noise and poor sleeping. This should be mentioned in the ad for the place. The overall cleanliness was poor with dirty floors, carpets kitchen and oven. Between the reservation fee, service fee and tax to owner we paid for a place that was subpar and downright nasty. Super expensive for 4 nights was not worth and we would not book again. In fact, we left a day early. Overall I try to be fair but this property was well below what was advertised. Felt ripped off as a long time VRBO customer and deserve at least a partial refund for enduring this mess for the price paid.

We had a wonderful stay for a full week at this charming dockside rental. It was spacious, clean, nicely decorated and very comfortable. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedrooms were nice and functional and we had luxurious bathrooms. The master bathroom was extremely nice. We especially enjoyed sitting on the back deck enjoying the sound. Check in was easy and check out was also easy. We will be renting this property again. I highly recommend it to anyone.

This house was wonderful. It was much larger than I anticipated. The home furnishings were beautiful and the property was perfect for us because we had a small boat. The noise from the bar across the street is noticeable on Friday and Saturday nights but did not bother us since we have college age kids and stay up late. One recommendation for the realty would to provide a welcome packet that had a few small things like a few individual sugar packets or a few single serve coffee packets. There is nothing in the way of supplies in the house (understandably) but with most VBROs or houses we rent we get a small welcome kit with a few things. It has all of the appliances and utensils you would need to cook. We would definitely stay again.
