Our reasonable rates, amenities on site and close distance to the beach make this apartment the perfect choice for an active, fun filled vacation. Located above Maine's oldest surf shop Wheels N Waves, everything you could need for the beach or bike trails is right downstairs.
There's 2 bedrooms, one with a queen size bed and the other with a queen size bed as well as a futon that opens to a full size bed. Both bedrooms have televisions and air conditioners. There's a newly remodeled full bath as well as an additional 1/2 bath.
The kitchen has a full stove, full size refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher and mostly everything you'd need to cook dinner including a lobster pot.
Living room has two small couches, cable television, dvd/vhs combo and a large collection of classic surf, skate and snowboard movies. The entire apartment has wifi service.

My sister and I had a great one night stay with our two dogs. The beds are comfortable and the bedrooms are spacious. It was very convenient to have a half bathroom in addition to the full bathroom. Great location to walk to Moody Beach, and easy access to drive or bike into Ogunquit. The place wasn’t spotless, but the host doesn’t charge a cleaning fee and it is more of a rustic setting. Would stay here again, especially considering the price.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was spacious and clean. The A/C worked well. Walking distance to Dunkin Dunuts and a small market place. Definitely would recommend.

Lots of space - large bedrooms and spacious sitting area. The beach was about a 20 minute walk from the property...a little further than I was expecting. It was a great beach for walking, swimming, surfing, etc! Host was responsive to questions. Property is situated along a busy highway.

Really relaxed place to stay near everything. Hosts very friendly. Above a busy surf shop which is great. At night you don’t have to worry about bothering anyone below. Cozy place. Sparingly supplied so bring extra towels or hand towels and soap. It’s pet friendly and functional. Our dog loved going to Gooch’s beach in Kennebunk. Super close to ogunquit. Low ceilings so watch out if you are tall! Our son is 6’6 and bumped his head a few times

This was our third stay here and we already booked our fourth for next year. It’s right on Route 1 which makes everything easily accessible, and easy biking distance to Moody and North beach. The beds are comfortable, everything is super clean, and the hosts are super friendly and very responsive - the perfect jumping off point.

This is a no frills place close to shops, restaurants and beaches. It is right on the 1 so easy access to everything. 10 minute walk to the beach. Very reasonable rates in this economy. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Maine.

Always an awesome stay
this is our go to place to spend time with Family in Wells. Close to everything and easy access to the beach and shopping. Our Pups love it too!

Great stay!
Vince and Bob were responsive and friendly. Check in/out was super easy and it is a great location. Looking forward to staying here again.

Booking and check-in were a breeze. There was plenty of space. Our dog was welcome and loved the walk to the beautiful salt marsh each morning. Owners were very friendly and helpful. Budget friendly.

Wheels N Waves has been in business since 1974 and is Maine's oldest surf shop. In 2013 Wheels N Waves was named Maine's Best Surf Shop by Downeast Magazine.
In 2011 after many years of renting, we were able to purchase this great new location, which has a 2 bedroom apartment on the 2nd floor. In 2013 we opened our 2nd location in downtown Ogunquit and walking distance to Ogunquit Beach. The Ogunquit location is smaller, but still offers rentals and sales of most things we offer in Wells.
