Excellent place to stay - wonderful

Quick synopsis: Beach: 4 mins walk to beach - easy access via multiple public access points Shops: loads of shops and restaurants all around - groceries, alcohol, beach stuff easy to access, all walkable, all phenomenal hours Place: Frances delightful and helpful throughout entire process. Photographs make place look worse than it is! Three large bedrooms with lots of linens and blankets, large well stocked kitchen, living room, two bathrooms with large showers, large family room space and dining table. Beds: room 1 had two single beds and a futon, room 2 had a queen/king and a futon, room 3 had a double bed. Closets contained a blow up mattress, child’s cot, high chair, some kids toys, etc. Extra towels were available as well as cleaning and washing supplies. Washer and dryer were in the unit - large, modern and powerful. A backyard included a barbecue with gas (we didn’t use), some beach supplies (3 chairs - bit old/broken, umbrella (bit rusted), table and few shovels to play with at beach. There’s also a kayak which could be used. Many thanks for having us - wonderful vacation.

Would Love to Stay Again…

This location was PERFECT! Close to everything- grocery store, shopping mall, restaurants, and most importantly, The Beach! The property itself was spacious; there was more than enough room for everyone in our group. The neighborhood was clean, quiet and felt very safe. The host supplied plenty of towels, extra linens, beach towels, beach chairs and umbrellas. The ONLY slight annoyance we had was there were tiny ants in the kitchen but that’s expected in Florida. Not enough of an issue take away stars, but hopefully they can be dealt with. We had a fantastic stay, overall. I travel to FLL/MIA at least once a year and hope to be able to stay here again. Thank you for sharing your home.

Mixed bag...

A generally good place to stay and agree with previous reviews (about location, responsiveness of the owner, etc.). That said, there were a few issues worth noting: • AC was turned off so when we checked in ~ 7PM the house was 83 degrees. Although the system worked just fine it took a while to cool the house so it was still really uncomfortable when we were trying to get the kids to sleep. • The house was fairly clean with the exception of the floors which needing sweeping and/or mopping throughout. • There was a bit of an ant problem; realize this is South Florida but probably due for a visit from an exterminator. • There was room for everyone (2 adults and 4 kids) to sleep but the setup was odd – a crib in the middle of the master bedroom sat squarely in front of the TV. • The beds in two of the three bedrooms are low platforms which extend out just slightly further than the mattress and have legs in strange places to the detriment of shins and toes… • Finally, two of the three bedrooms have a two inch ‘step’ halfway through the room which is a significant tripping hazard (you can see this in picture #10). Not sure if we would stay here again; most of the above are compensated for by the location except for the last one which is a safety issue and really should be addressed.

Overall good place

It worked for what we needed. We hit a few inconveniences along the way, the blender was broken & pack n play didn’t have a mattress. We bought new ones and left them there so hopefully someone else can use them. A lot od the beach stuff besides one umbrella and one chair need to be tossed they are rusted and splintered. It was very close to the beach and also a cute park right down the street. Had some noisy neighbors but we communicated with them and they were respectful of the noise after that. It is not a single family home which I thought it was so if you stay you never know who will be next to you. We have 5 kids so a lot od the decor is glass which is always a negative for me but overall it worked out and we used it for what we needed. Appreciate the responsiveness of the owner as well.

Great twin home

Awesome location literally minutes from the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and towels which was a huge plus. WiFi is definitely spotty. Didn’t end up using it as it took too long to connect and then went in and out. All in all a good stay and great location close to many things! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if I’m the area

Comfortable home near the beach

We had a great stay. The house was clean and comfortable and just as described. Some of the furnishings were a bit dated/worn and the the internet wasn't great but we had what we needed and the location is perfect. Francis was easy to deal with, lovely and very responsive to anything we needed. Thanks for a great stay.

Wonderful location for budget price.

We really enjoyed the house. It's looks as good or better than the pictures (sometimes listings w/ professional pics deceive). It's not new or recently updated but it's very comfy and has everything you need and you can't beat the price and location. Having the washer and dryer, plenty of towels & beach chairs was really handy. The owner did not have a reservation the day before or after our stay so they were very very accommodating with check in and check out which was extremely appreciated. I highly recommend.

Nice beach house, funcionally equipped

Easy to book, no need of a handover of the keys (number code to open the door). Very friendly but cautious host, acceptance of a slight extension of check-out time according to our travel schedule. The house is functionally equipped, a little unemotional. Equipment partially in a visible used state. There is an efficient but noisy air conditioning. The way to the beach is short, but a bit cumbersone. There is a lot of construction at the beachfront appartment houses. You need to cross busy Collins Ave. to reach the beach. For the way down to Miami beach you need to deal with the always busy Collins Ave., South Beach about 40' drive. FL not far, Aventura mall is only a few minutes away.

Loved the location!

We would stay here again. It was everything the posting said it was very clean, ideal location and we felt safe walking around the neighborhood. Francis was always willing to help with recommendation. We just loved it and can’t wait to come back.

Nice, clean and big

Great access to the beach, safe neighbor hood. The house really comfortable and clean. The owners are nice and helpful. Recommend this place to anybody who wants to have a great time.

Perfect Location

The property is only a short walk to the beach and is conveniently located in a nice, high-end neighborhood. The house is spacious and clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful and is always willing to help when needed. I highly recommend this property.
