Be swept away by this stone vista perched in the mountains in the DC Highland Community. Hardwood floors, granite counter tops, and two ovens in the kitchen, will be sure to please the culinarian in the family and ensure delightful entertaining. Take a step out of the kitchen to a reading nook or grand dining area. Just outside, enjoy your evenings with friends in the screened in porch. The great room is designed with comfort in mind, showcasing large, comfy couches, a wood fireplace, and a TV with DVD/VCR player.The main level has 2 primary bedrooms both with king beds (one with a jacuzzi tub). The kids will enjoy themselves in the duobunk room that is connected to play room with a TV and games. Walk over to the game room and play a game of billiards as you watch your favorite sports team. After a day of skiing, take a dip in the hot tub outside next to the crackling outdoor fireplace. With all of these amenities, you cannot forget the community tennis courts, playground, and hiking trails. The lakeside park, which conveniently provides a pavilion, restroom facilities, and water access perfect for swimming, is located a short drive away. Beautiful Getaway Home

We had an amazing graduation long weekend with family coming from 4 states. This beautiful house has plenty of room for everyone and the property was clean. Awesome play spaces for kids of all ages. Has everything you need and more - all the comforts of home. If you forget anything there are stores- including Walmart- 20 miles away. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This home is more magnificant than the pictures show. It is more than we could have imagined. Everything is as pictured and more. The home is large but cozy and welcoming. We enjoyed seeing the deer walk across the driveway. ***The only complaint that I must note is that the sofa in the living room smelled of cat/dog urine. You could also smell it in the cozy kitchen area as well. We sprayed febreze and had scented wax(scentsy) throughout the home. It is just suggested that they be cleaned. Please understand that this would not be a deterrent for our return to the home. We had a beautiful weekend and would love to return.

Summer vacation at Stone Mountain vista

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was somewhat unhappy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great time. Missed the lake view but would be perfect for fall vacation. Good size for large group. No blankets for first floor bedrooms. Bring your own. We didn’t! Enjoyed Funland, Smileys, Green Turtle. Property was clean but needed a deep house clean.

Lovely home; needed better cleaning

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoyed the location, and the house fit our family's needs perfectly. I was quite disappointed with the cleanliness, however. Many of the dishes in the kitchen were dirty, with food or oil sitting in it. It seemed like the dishes were used and not washed, but just placed back in cupboards. Had to wash all dishes we used, first. The closet floors were dirty, as well. If I could be assured that the house would be cleaned better, I would go back for sure.
