My family and I had a great relaxing stay. We loved the cabin. The location was perfect! The host was outstanding. He called prior to my check in and walked me through the check in process and provided highlights of the cabin.

The house and property were amazing. Mirror Lake and the Broad River is where we stayed the entire time! They are right down the hill and very well kept. Kim, our host was amazing as well. I would highly recommend this property to anyone with a large family. The drive to the house takes a few minutes to get to but it ended up being a highlight! We were able to see deer and other wildlife on the road to the house! This is one of the best places I’ve stayed near Lake Lure!

Our first time visiting Lake Lure for more than just a day trip and the hosts were phenomenal! Communicated in detail directions ( made it so easy!) what to expect, how to operate everything, there’s not a single thing we would change! Looking forward to planning another stay soon!

Host was excellent always available before our stay and during our stay. What a nice person he is. The cabin was beautiful! Hot tub clean… kayaks perfect. We didn’t need to use the canoes which were available. My 3 grandkids swam everyday, except when we went shopping at lake lure city. Or whatever you call it. I give them each 20 and that can take quite a few hours. We went out to delicious breakfasts a few mornings and lunch downtown. Such a fun trip.

We loved the spacious cabin! Our family and the family we were traveling with fit well for meals,sleeping and together time. The kids really enjoyed the hot tub and game room. It was about a five minute drive to the lake access which we took advantage of at sunset. We liked how close it was to the restaurants, grocery and hikes. Thanks for a great stay!

Our mountain weekend was perfect! The cabin was clean, spacious, and wonderful for our larger group, with plenty of amenities to enjoy. Our host was incredibly communicative and kind, making everything smooth from start to finish. We will definitely be back again!

Great place, has beds for days!

Loved this place, hot tub was huge and everything was clean and ready when we got there! Owner was very responsive and helpful for any questions I threw at him. thanks for letting me enjoy your home!

The property was very warm and welcoming. Many of our children stated it felt like going to a grandparents house. They loved the game room and kitchen open to the family room so we could cook and all talk also. The only negative is the drive to the Biltmore. Several family members were car sick. :(

Very Relaxing Location with Fun Nearby

Our family had a great time at the cabin. It's close to Chimney Rock, so there are great hikes nearby. And just around the south side of the lake is the beach area and a great little coffee shop. The cabin is quiet, and homey, and it was as advertised. The owners are very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great Escape!

If you want a real retreat, this cabin is an excellent choice. For 2 or more, it is quiet and secluded, comfortable, well appointed. I sleep so deeply there!

Tons of room!

Huge place. Plenty of beds. Game room. was a bonus and so was the gas firepit on the deck! Highly recommend!!

Beautiful house and great gated community.

The owners of the property could not be more kind and accommodating. They were always available and helped me make our vacation very special. Love the house in the game room! And it was very nice to have a gated community where we had our own private lake area and tubing River. highly recommend!

Fantastic!!!

Our family had an amazing time during our stay! Everything was even better than we ever expected...everything was clean, convenient and user friendly. Literally felt like the cabin was made just for us...Kim was a joy to work with and always available for all questions. We will definitely be back soon!!!!!

Very accomodating and relaxing

We had a great time at Laurelwood for a long weekend. The house suited our needs nicely and the owner went out of his way to make the entire rental process an easy one. This is not always true of VRBO owners. This house is in a quiet and relaxing neighborhood which is what we were looking for.

Fun birthday weekend

This was a stunning log home. This was our first time going to lake lure and had a blast. Kim always messaged me to make sure everything was going as planned. This house is very close to resturaunts and the National Park. The game room and hot tub was very fun when you wanted to relax or have fun. I hope to go again sometime!
