All advantages of the city in the countryside. Comfortable half-timbered Alsatian house fully furnished and charmingly decorated with quality antique furniture and rugs. A 'Kacheloffe' tiled wood stove complements the heating with a soft and authentic note for winter evenings.
Very quiet location with private parking and interior courtyard to enjoy the sun with garden furniture and enjoy a barbecue from spring to fall. Ideal to rest.
140 m2 for 2 to 6 people. A bathroom with bath, separate toilet, separate shower, bathroom with toilet upstairs. Wifi and cable for internet access. Washing machine, dryer, dishwasher and all the comforts to make your life easier. Typical products will be offered to you at the reception to discover the pleasures of the Alsace region.

You are in the center of a typical village, surrounded by half-timbered houses and all the necessary shops. Strasbourg center is 10 minutes by train or car, the fields one minute on foot.

Fabulous stay

We have just stayed in this beautiful house near Strasbourg. The house itself was very welcoming and comfortable. The hosts were also very warm and welcoming and made our stay even more memorable. Thank you Marc and Helene for your hospitality.

A lovely house and area

The house was perfect for us - two adults and two teenagers. It was clean and and cool, a welcome return after a hot day sightseeing! The owners were very helpful and freindly. Perfect location for visiting Strasbourg and Germany, with plenty more to see and do. We especially liked Baden Baden and the Europa Park. Would love to come back one day.

A glorious stay in a wonderful house

The Yellow House is even prettier than the photos on the website. We are a family of 5 (children 10, 8 and 8) and had a great fortnight there. The house has everything you need and the lounge was particularly cozy in the evenings. Helene and Marc, who live next door were very helpful and gave lots of suggestions for things to do both in Strasbourg and in Alsace. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Best winter break ever.

The property was exactly as described and photographed. Mark and Helene are fantastic hosts. Hélène met us at the station and they both gave us a full tour of the cosy cottage and provided complementary Christmas drinks and food. The house is like a picture postcard inside and out beautifully decorated for Noel. We took their advice to visit some of the regional Xmas markets on the weekend leaving Strasbourg and Colmar during the less busy weekdays. We highly recommend this accommodation in Old Vendenheim within a short commute to Strasbourg by bus or train. We will certainly come back again.

Charmante maison très accueillante

Je ne peux que conseiller cette charmante maison très accueillante et reposante. Hélène et Marc vous accueilleront parfaitement, un grand merci à eux car lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avions un gateau dans la cuisine et des boissons locales dans le réfrigérateur sans oublier la poêle à bois allumé pour chauffer la maison.Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins pour nous faire passer un agréable séjour, Proche de Strasbourg et des grands axes, sa localisation est parfaite.

great house

We searched for a close location to Brumath for a sport event and founded this house. It was a great place to stay. Haven't been really active for tourisme because of the sport event where we participated the entire week. But there are a lot of nice things to see like Strassburg.

Schönes Haus im Elsass

Haus ist in einem ruhigen kleineren Ort der aber verkehrsgünstig nach Straßburg liegt. Ausstattung war für uns ideal. Vermieter sind dort nett. Immer wieder gerne.

Radurlaub Elsass

Sehr nette und freundliche Gastgeber, herzlicher Empfang. Wir wurden mit einem elsässischen Kuchen einem guten Bier sowie einer Flasche Sekt überrascht. Die Radtouren die wir bei unbeständigen Wetter machen konnten führten uns am Kanal sowie an verschiedenen Fort vorbei. Straßburg ist mit dem Zug in 10 Minuten erreichbar und sehenswert. Wie gesagt bis aufs Wetter war unsere Urlaub ein voller Erfolg.

Knusperhäuschen

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in diesem urigen elsässer Fachwerkhaus mit seinen authentischen Möbeln sehr genossen. Mit den Tipps von Helene und Marc kann man nichts falsch machen. Die neue Umgehungsautobahn für Straßburg ist zwar nur ein paar hundert Meter entfernt und wir haben uns Sorgen wegen des Lärms gemacht. Aber man hört absolut nichts! Solche Strassenbauer würden wir uns zuhause auch wünschen.

Wundervolles Osterfest im Norden von Straßburg

Wir (Eltern mit drei Teenagern) haben wunderbare 10 Tage über Ostern 2023 in dem alten und liebevoll renovierten Fachwerkhaus verbracht. Es ist alles vorhanden! Der Ofen ist einfach zu bedienen und hat gemeinsam mit den Elektroheizern das Haus kuschelig warm gemacht. Das Schlafsofa im Wohnzimmer ist komfortabel und super schnell aufzuklappen. Alle anderen Betten sind ebenfalls komfortabel. Das Schlafzimmer im ersten Obergeschoss ist, wie das ganze Haus, sehr stielvoll und passend zu dem alten Fachwerk eingerichtet. Insbesondere das Dachgeschosszimmer ist super lichtdurchflutet. Einzig der Esstisch vor dem Kamin ist nicht hell genug ausgeleuchtet, um dort gemütlich zu essen. Wir haben den gut ausgeleuchteten und tagsüber durch die Tür und Fester mit Tageslicht beleuchteten Tisch in der Küche zum Essen genutzt. Die Vermieter waren sehr hilfreich mit Tipps für Ausflüge und Aktivitäten, sehr freudlich und in keiner Minute aufdringlich! So wünschen wir uns das! Gerne wieder!!!

la maison et agréable à vivre. Les propriétaires sont très présents sur les lieux. vous aurez de bonnes explications sur le fonctionnement de la maison. Ils sont très investis. Tout un panel de documentations dans le salon pour découvrir la région et les environs. Marc nous a accueilli avec des bretzels et des maneles sur la petite table du salon. La maison est très grande et joliment décorée. petit bémol : la porte qui donne sur les chambres est communicante avec l'appartement des propriétaires. il faut savoir que la salle de bain du bain du haut n'a pas de quoi se laver. Elle a un WC et deux vasques. La salle de bain et une douche se trouvent au niveau de la cuisine en bas. le poêle a bois très typique chauffe très bien et Marc se fera un plaisir de vous le ravitailler pendant vos promenades extérieures. La maison étaient joliment décorée à l'extérieure et à l'intérieure pour noël et même avec le sapin de noël . Attention toutefois à la propreté des lieux ... .poubelle cuisine pas vidée à notre arrivée ,vaisselle grasse à refaire..... l'endroit est très calme. Cela a été un bon séjour

Nach "Hause" kommen, nach spannenden Ausflügen

Nach einem schönen Tag mit neuen Eindrücken war es immer schön, in dieses liebevoll eingerichtet Haus zurück zu kommen. Und mit Hélène und Marc hat man zwei wunderbare Vermieter und Ansprechpartner an seiner Seite.

Ferien im Elsass

Wir sind eine Familie mit zwei Jungs (10, 5) und haben unseren Aufenthalt in Vendenheim sehr genossen. Das Haus ist groß und urig. Es ist liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt, dass Hélène und Marc dort 25 Jahre selbst gelebt haben. Die Küche hat alles, was es braucht. Um uns die Ankunft pünktlich zum Feiertag zu erleichtern, wurde die Küche mit einem "Start-Set" ausgestattet: etwas Kaffee, Baguette und Brezel. Es war toll. Wir wurden herzlich empfangen und haben eine tolle Einweisung erhalten. Hélène empfahl uns auch Sachen, die nicht zum offensichtlichen Touri-Programm gehören. Von den Dingen, die wir eigentlich auf dem Zettel hatten, haben wir kaum was geschafft. Wir kommen wieder in die Gegend. Dann auch gern wieder nach Vendenheim.
