A fantastic place to stay! Highly reccommend. A beautiful house, very clean and spacious. All ammenities - washing maching, dryer, dishwasher, oven, stovetop, fridge. Close to bus stop and train station (both walking distance) Very accommodating hosts, kept the fire going when we were out, offered advice on things to do, where to eat, grocery shops, maps. A great stay all round!

Fabulous stay

We have just stayed in this beautiful house near Strasbourg. The house itself was very welcoming and comfortable. The hosts were also very warm and welcoming and made our stay even more memorable. Thank you Marc and Helene for your hospitality.

Excellent stay

Four of us stayed a week in this property and had a great time. Convenient stores nearby. Best of all were the owners, who live adjacent to the property. They went out of their way to see we were looked after. Highly recommend.

great house

We searched for a close location to Brumath for a sport event and founded this house. It was a great place to stay. Haven't been really active for tourisme because of the sport event where we participated the entire week. But there are a lot of nice things to see like Strassburg.

A lovely house and area

The house was perfect for us - two adults and two teenagers. It was clean and and cool, a welcome return after a hot day sightseeing! The owners were very helpful and freindly. Perfect location for visiting Strasbourg and Germany, with plenty more to see and do. We especially liked Baden Baden and the Europa Park. Would love to come back one day.

A glorious stay in a wonderful house

The Yellow House is even prettier than the photos on the website. We are a family of 5 (children 10, 8 and 8) and had a great fortnight there. The house has everything you need and the lounge was particularly cozy in the evenings. Helene and Marc, who live next door were very helpful and gave lots of suggestions for things to do both in Strasbourg and in Alsace. We couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Best winter break ever.

The property was exactly as described and photographed. Mark and Helene are fantastic hosts. Hélène met us at the station and they both gave us a full tour of the cosy cottage and provided complementary Christmas drinks and food. The house is like a picture postcard inside and out beautifully decorated for Noel. We took their advice to visit some of the regional Xmas markets on the weekend leaving Strasbourg and Colmar during the less busy weekdays. We highly recommend this accommodation in Old Vendenheim within a short commute to Strasbourg by bus or train. We will certainly come back again.

We stayed here for a week as a group of five (three adults and two children), and the house was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The layout worked perfectly for us, with a large living area, two toilets, a bath and shower, and double sinks upstairs and downstairs, which made mornings much easier.The kitchen is fully equipped (coffee machine with pods, another coffee maker, toaster, microwave, and basic cooking essentials). Beds are comfortable and warm, and there are lovely extras like a guitar, CD player, and TV. The house is full of character and unique artifacts—it actually took us hours to explore all the interesting details.The hosts were exceptional—very welcoming, responsive, and helpful. They picked us up from the station, explained everything, provided maps and local tips, and even left wine, beer, juice, and a delicious cake. Mark also lit the fireplace every day, which made evenings extra cozy.The location is in a peaceful, beautiful, colorful village with very friendly locals. We loved exploring it (even spotting a stork’s nest). Strasbourg is very easy to reach—just 8 minutes by train or 20–25 minutes by bus—so it’s a perfect balance of quiet and convenience. There’s also an amazing local bakery nearby that’s clearly popular.We loved our stay and would definitely come back—our children especially didn’t want to leave.

Vandenheim es una población con mucho encanto y muy bien situada para desplazarse por la Alsacià

Nuestro estancia ha sido fantastica y, uno de los motivos que lo ha hecho posible ha sido estar en una casa típica alsaciana, còmoda y acogedora. Quiero resaltar la amabilidad de Hélène y Marc que con sus atencions todo ha sido muy facil.

Una autèntica experiència alsaciana

Hem estat una setmana a Vendenheim i l'allotjament ha estat un encert: una autèntica casa alsaciana, però amb totes les comoditats, i ben ubicada per fer-hi les visites i excursions. Cal destacar l'acollida l 'atenció de Marc i Helene, així com les experiències personals que van compartir amb nosaltres i que ens van ajudar a entendre una mica les vicissituds i els sofriments viscuts per aquest país. Els estem molt agraïts.

Excellents accueil, conseils et communication avec les hôtes, Hélène et Marc.Hébergement calme, situé dans le centre ancien de Vendenheim. Idéalement situé en fait : proche (10’ en voiture) du golf de la Wantzenau, de Strasbourg (en bus -notre préférence- ou en voiture), des bords du Rhin, de splendides villages alsaciens, etc …et des thermes de Baden-Baden !

Ancienne maison typiquement alsacienne très bien restaurée. On s'y sent bien et le poêle à faïence traditionnel y est aussi pour quelque chose. Très bien équipée et spacieuse, très près de Strasbourg. Propriétaires sympathique, on recommande.

Correct mais sans plus

Nous avions logé avec nos amis la deuxième semaine qui avaient loué ce logement.Au lieu de 3 chambres il n’y en avait que 2 et un salon avec lit convertible non adapté à certaines personnes!Maison spacieuse mais assez sombre meublée à l’ancienne! Escaliers pas très commodes pour notre âge.Nous avons apprécié la climatisation au second mais pas de Clim. au 1er ni au RdC!car il faisait très chaud jusqu’à 37dg!Mes amis ne sont pas sortis pendant la 1ère semaine à cause de la chaleur.Séjour dans l’ensemble à peu près mais sans plus!Nous avons écourté nos vacances.Les propriétaires étaient sympas!

Pfingstferien im Elsaß

Für Ausflüge in die Vogesen und nach Straßburg ist das die ideale Lokation. Besonderns beliebt bei uns war der Aufenthalt im Patio. Sehr ruhig und sehr abgeschirmt von den Nachbarn. Ein sehr entspannter Aufenthalt.

Charmante maison très accueillante

Je ne peux que conseiller cette charmante maison très accueillante et reposante. Hélène et Marc vous accueilleront parfaitement, un grand merci à eux car lorsque nous sommes arrivés, nous avions un gateau dans la cuisine et des boissons locales dans le réfrigérateur sans oublier la poêle à bois allumé pour chauffer la maison.Nos hôtes ont été aux petits soins pour nous faire passer un agréable séjour, Proche de Strasbourg et des grands axes, sa localisation est parfaite.

Week-end au marché de noel

On a passé un tres bon week-end. Tres bonne accueil par les propriétaires. Tres gentils qui donne des bonnes conseils pour le sejour . Parfait. Maison authentique d Alsace magnifique. Je recommande fortement .

Schönes Haus im Elsass

Haus ist in einem ruhigen kleineren Ort der aber verkehrsgünstig nach Straßburg liegt. Ausstattung war für uns ideal. Vermieter sind dort nett. Immer wieder gerne.

Erholung pur
