Utterly relaxing stay

We had the most relaxing stay at this beautiful house and felt completely at home. The outside area and pool is spectacular. The house is very tasteful and well located. Christophe the manager was lovely and very helpful.

Magnificent stay in Provence

Amy's property was absolutely impeccable. The house is perfectly laid out, the kitchen fully stocked and we couldn't have asked for a more wonderful week in Provence. Can't wait to return!

Wonderful property in the village of Vaugines. House is beautifully finished and well equipped. Two decent sized double bedrooms and smaller bedroom with bed bunks. Large pool on a lower terrace. Well located two minutes to Cucuron ten to Lourmarin. Owners very helpful check-in went well. We would stay again.

Lovely location and views. Beautifully decorated and super clean and tidy - the house has a nice, relaxed feel to it. Kitchen has everything you need if you enjoy cooking. Nice indoor and outdoor dining spaces. The house worked really well for our family of 5.

Superb property

This exquisite property is not only completely up-to-date and beautifully decorated, it is also in a fantastic location for spending time in Provence. Wonderfully outfitted kitchen, beautiful and comfortable outdoor space, and a breathtaking setting to boot.

A dream - deserves 6 stars !

La Provence at its best ! Nothing is missing in its propery. Great location gorgeous view from the terrace, the house interior perfectly choosen, cosyness in every angle. The owners have created a masterpiece of how a house in the Provence must look like. The property manager is very friendly and helpful. We left with a heavy heart ... hoping to return another time.

Magnifique sejour dans une magnifique maison

Maison vraiment tres agreable, correspondant complement a la description. On appreciera la vue, l calme, la terrasse, la cuisine super areable et equipee, les chambres climatisees et la localisation parfaite a 15 min max de magnifiques villages. A recommander.

Fantastic!

We had a fantastic stay at the house. Amy and Christel were great to work with and the house simply beautiful. The location is perfect for visit markets, hiking and exploring all that the Luberon has to offer. We greatly miss our daily lounge time on the terrace in the Provence sun. We will be back!

Memorable

Lovely, well furnished home situated in a picturesque village. The location was ideal for exploring the surrounding villages and cities. The owner and property manager were very accommodating and accessible. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to travelers exploring the Provence region.

Vaugines

The house is wonderful, fully equipped for all needs from cooking inside to BBQ to swimming in a glorious pool and a terrace that has a vista. Great location, convenient to other interesting small villages. Owner’s suggestions as to restaurant, markets etc is spot on. great rental!

Lourmarin August 2019

We stayed at this amazing property for a week in August and it was fantastic. The house is just as described if not better. It is clean, spacious, beautiful, has everything you could need and is in a perfect location. The pool is wonderful and bigger than expected. Amy and the property manager were wonderful to deal with and not only provided helpful information but assisted with reservations and recommendations. We cannot speak highly enough of the house and our experience. We had a really great time in Provence in no small part due to having such a comfortable and lovely house to stay in. We would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a great vacation near Lourmarin. If you go with kids be prepared for them to not want to leave.

Beautiful Home

We were fortunate to be able to stay at this beautiful home during our vacation. My kids loved swimming in the pool. The open floor plan was very nice and the french doors open to a beautiful terrace. The home was walking distance to the small town and we picked up fresh baked goods every day for our meals. The kitchen was well equipped and we were able to make some great meals there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Just perfect!

A charming house in a beautiful village on the outskirts of Lourmarin. The house had everything we could have wished for and a magnificent pool for our children to enjoy. We would love to return one day!

Perfect in every way

Our family of 4 had the most wonderful time at Amy’s beautiful home. It was clean and bright and had beautiful views. The kitchen is well equipped and has lovely large French doors like the rest of the home that look out onto these views. The bedrooms are pretty and comfortable with space for all your clothes. The master bath is large with tub and separate shower. The pool, patio, and outdoor seating are perfectly maintained and a relaxing place to spend your time when you are not traveling to the many adorable towns around the area. Amy is helpful and responsive. She provides you with ideas for restaurants and sight seeing - however being at the house was so enjoyable that you sometimes have to force yourself to leave it. We hope to return someday soon. It was one our favorite trips. Consider yourself lucky as we did to be able to stay in this lovely home.

Wonderful way to visit Provence

This was a clean, extremely well-located and fully-equipped house (kitchen, internet, bbq, washer/drier, etc.) with great views and a pool. We loved that it was located in the small, quiet village of Vaugines (population 600); we felt that we became part of the town and came to know the owners of its 3 local shops and restaurants. We could relax here for the day, but also pretty much see all sites and towns in Provence within an hour's drive or less, including our favorite town, Lourmarin, 3 miles away. The owner and her on-site manager have prepared a great guide to their favorite stops and restaurants and were available whenever needed. If you are driving, bring a good GPS for the area -- lots of roundabouts. Overall, our highest recommendation for any VRBO we have ever visited. Unlike some previous houses, it is as advertised, if not better!

Perfectly Put Together

We enjoyed a week in late May at this beautifully designed and thoughtfully appointed village house in Vaugines. Built into the side of a sloping street, once across the threshold the home opens to a lovely terrace with a 270 degree Provençal vista including Mount St. Victoire and the Luberon. Nicely decorated and carefully curated, this new as old reconstruction is perfectly equipped and organized for two couples plus a 'stray' or a family with young children. The sleek, modern kitchen really cooks. The gathering spaces lend themselves to intimate conversation. The pool surrounded by climbing roses is a bit of paradise. This home is nicely situated between the pretty towns of Lourmarin and Cucurron and close to host of prime markets, wineries and other local attractions. We would recommend this home to anyone looking for a cozy, comfortable, modern take on a traditional Provençal mas.

A perfect holiday

We recently stayed in this lovely home and could not have had a more enjoyable or relaxing holiday. The home is beautifully & tastefully decorated, very comfortable, and there are wonderful views from the terrace. The village is charming with a fantastic restaurant in the square as well as a pizzeria/cafe. We were well situated to explore the nearby villages and even took a day trip to Cassis and the Calanques. One week was definitely not enough so we very much hope a return trip will be in our future!

Wonderful property in beautiful Provence!

Such a lovely house in a beautiful area! It is tastefully designed, cozy and comfortable, and we can't think of any amenities that were missing. Vaugines is centrally located to explore the region of Provence we were most interested in seeing, and the village itself was a gem with a fantastic restaurant across from the fountain in the small square. Both the owner and the onsite manager were very friendly and helpful, which was much appreciated. We highly recommend this property and hope to return again ourselves one day.

Brilliant house and location

This was our second time visiting the Luberon region but our first trip to the 'south' side. We found the location to be an ideal base for exploring the surrounding villages and countryside. We had a great time discovering Vaugines, Lourmarin, Cucuron and Ansouis in particular, and spent a wonderful day in Cassis swimming in the Med. The house itself surpassed our expectations. It is beautifully designed, so well equipped, and we felt at home immediately. Our favourite part of the day was unwinding on the terrace with a glass of wine to enjoy watching the sunsets, which were fabulous. The owner was friendly and helpful, offering many suggestions for day trips which were greatly appreciated. We would most certainly recommend this property to our friends and family, and would love to return again one day ourselves.

Perfect in every way!

The house was beautiful and luxuriously comfortable! The location couldn't have been better. The house was in the quiet and relaxing village of Vaugines, but was a very short drive from many of the most beautiful villages in Provence. Lourmarin was only a 5 minute drive away where there were numerous restaurants and shops. The chateau in Lourmarin was definitely worth seeing and we even attended a concert there. The best part--the magnificent views from the house! It was an idyllic Provence vacation and the house had every convenience and luxury we could have hoped for! Thank you!

A terrific family holiday

Our family was seven in number spanning three generations, and this house was exactly as we all hoped it would be. It is just beautiful. It felt wonderfully homey from the moment we arrived. The views are incredible and the location ideal. We enjoyed the large selection of board games as well as some outdoor pool side games. The kitchen was one of the most well equipped we have seen in a vacation rental which made cooking a pleasure - and the fresh herbs growing on the terrace were a welcome bonus! We spent almost an equal number of days relaxing and enjoying the house and pool as we did exploring the surrounding area. In hindsight a week was too short and we all wished we could have stayed longer. If we have the opportunity to return to this area in the future, we would stay here again without question.

A Wonderful Week

Amy, I am SO sorry not to have written sooner...but just to say we had an absolutely wonderful week in your house.  I can’t think of anything to improve…house is perfect, views to die for and delicious croissants on the doorstep. It really was a brilliant house, beautifully decorated and full of every utensil you could need, as easy as being at home but much sunnier & without all our clutter. Your welcome pack folder was so comprehensive and very useful, particularly all the restaurant suggestions.  We ended up having a simple but perfectly nice pizza the first night in the village square and discovered the boules court in the village when we visited the touring circus...can’t remember if you mentioned that in there?   Christel was very efficient and helpful too.   Thank you again for your help in our booking. It was the first time I have booked via VRBO, and I’m so glad we did, but more importantly am so glad we found your house! With our very best wishes Catherine
