The condo and resort were even better than I had hoped. The condo was clean and well stocked. The view from the lanai was excellent, and the lanai itself was private and did not overlook a loud pool. The king bed was very comfortable. (My 76-year-old mother slept on it, and she is very opinionated about beds.) The fold out couch was supportive, though a little firm for my personal tastes but there were no bars digging into my back. A lightbulb above the bathroom sink went out, and when I messaged the host, someone came to replace it that very day and brought a flashlight since Lala was coming through that evening. Glad we had the extra light when the power did go out due to the storm. No fault of the hosts or resort. Nice Brita water pitcher in the unit, too. Beach chairs were a plus. If you are one who likes to take stairs sometimes instead of the elevator, there's a stairwell door directly across from the unit. Great snorkeling just south of the resort. No need to go to down to Black Rock or pay for a boat excursion. Loved having the keypad entry instead of a key. Would stay here again for sure!

Overall great place to stay and spend time in Maui, lots of space and good view of the ocean and mountain. Pools and beach area was beautiful great sunset moments. Beach chairs and a cooler were available and that helped a lot.

Where to start! We reserve this room in March, expecting to arrive to a beautiful room, comes to find out after traveling all day our room was having a new air conditioning unit installed, Epic Reality who we went through said she had no idea with was happening and at first said basically we had to find our our hotel to stay at. she said i have a better place to stay which honestly wasnt better at all. We canceled with them and found a new place with Maui rentals and they we amazing, we went back and got a better room at Honua Kia where we loved and it was a bigger room and cheaper. I highly recommend Honua Kia for your stay

Maui Paradise

We have stayed at the Honua Kai multiple times and it is always hard to leave. This unit is nice for the price, but the sofa bed only comfortably fits one person so we bought a blow up mattress for the 4th person in the unit.

Aloha Eric, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this great review. 316 at the Honua Kai is a beautiful newly renovated 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with spectacular views. We pride our team in the Aloha Spirit we provide our guest to enhance their Maui vacation and do our best to provide all the home away from home feels. The Resort has wonderful amenities and a beautiful white sand beach just steps out front for wonderful swimming, snorkeling and fun in the sun. Duke's Restaurant on property is wonderful and the Whalers Village is nearby for additional dining a shopping experiences. It was our pleasure to host you and we look forward to your return. Great place

Just as expected. Was spring break so pool was very crowded and towel machine wasn’t always working, but other than that was great!
