Enjoy your fresh catch of the day cooked in a beautiful gourmet kitchen, with a beautiful granite bar/eating area. Property was extremely nice - clean and just as described. The appointments were as nice as any we've ever seen in the many places we've stayed over the years. Communication with owner was limited (mostly because there were no issues) but very prompt and professional at all times. We had everything we needed for our week stay and couldn't think of anything that should be added. Location is convenient to Keys activities and walking distance to several very nice restaurants. Will definitely consider staying here again if we return to Marathon in the future.

Lovely home

The property is immaculate and offered far more than most rentals we have had in the past. The kitchen was stocked with spices, coffee/tea, sugar, etc. There was laundry detergent and many extra towels, pillows and bedding. Beach chairs, kayaks, bikes, and even sunscreen! The home was extremely comfortable and we were able to walk to several eateries. Don't miss the Leopoldo pizza truck, and Fish Tales for some very good seafood. While we don't have a boat, there is a large dock and Alfred, our host, provides directions to reach the home by water - can't beat that. Alfred was extremely responsive to any inquiries we had; we would definitely recommend this home.

Very nice

Nice place with everything you need, very clean, nice dock, very practical when you rent a boat.The only thing is that we thougt we would be on the canal side but we were not, for the rest, we will rent again if we go back in Marathon.

One of the best!

It was very clean, had just the right amount of space for 2-4 adults, and had every kitchen gadget you could ever need plus spices. The house is centrally located next to a canal. Easy to get to bike paths. If you put a kayak in at the properties ramp be very careful as the concrete is very slick at the bottom. Alfredo made it very easy for us to enjoy our stay.

This cozy place has it all! Great fishing just minutes from the front door and a well equipped kitchen to cook your fresh catch! Extra clean and nicely furnished was a bonus!

Great place and location

Couldn’t ask for more! We were very comfortable, kitchen was staffed with anything one might need. Near beaches. Close-walking distance to several nice restaurants and short drive to other restaurants. We had a great time!!!

Casa Solis

This home is on an ocean side canal only four houses from the Atlantic. The water in the canal was always beautiful and clear and the dock is great for fishing. The house is pristine with high end finishes and very well stocked with small appliances and kitchen utensils as well as spices and even cleaning supplies and laundry detergent. We felt at home right away. It has a good size deck with a retractable awning for the afternoon sun. The beds are soft and comfy and the bathrooms are spacious with huge showers and the master bath had a jetted tub. There is enough to do in Marathon to keep us busy for the month we were there. Sombrero beach(dog friendly), the Turtle Hospital, the Dolphin Research Center,Crane Hammock Nature Center (my favorite), Key Colony Beach, Sparky’s Landing restaurant , Keys Fisheries restaurant, fish market and Tiki bar, Island Fish Co. restaurant and the Marrooned gift shop. This list is a few of the places we visited. Alfred is a wonderful host and very accommodating. He helped us out right away with any issues that came up. I would definitely recommend this home and location.

Very nice, it lived up to the pictures. We did have to buy a carpet to protect our kayaks when we launched them into the water. The launch is rough concrete. The deck overlooks the rooftops instead of the water so we would go sit on the dock instead of the deck.

Awesome vacations!!

First of all, I want to start by thanking Alfred Alvarez. Huge shout out to you Alfred. Thank you for your willingness to help us out. Thank you for guiding us with boat, that helped us big time. Now the property was super clean, my mom and wife were amazed by how clean the house was, everything was PERFECT. Neighborhood and neighbors were great too. We had an awesome time.

What a wonderful place!!!

It is not often that you see such beautiful property with all the amenities you can ask for! We used the kayaks, fishingpoles, life jacket etc etc. We fished a lot from the dock and said hello every day to “our” mother manatee and baby. The house itself has everything you can ask for. Lots of amenities and accessories. We highly recommend it!

Everything you need!

We had a great vacation with our kids (8 &10 years old) exploring nearby reefs and fishing. The house with a dock for the boat is a must for convenience. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could need and overall the house is beautiful, clean, and welcoming!

Pictures suggested we had a view of the water which was from the other side of the building. Furnishings were excellent. Dock was excellent. Four adults 66 to 79 years old. The stairs were a bit of a chalange. Overall we were all happy with our stay

Lovely home

We rented the house and a boat for the week and enjoyed every minute of it. The dock was perfect for the 27' boat. You catch many things at the dock as well. We saw manatees and small sharks and even tarpon there. The house is stocked with everything you need. There are many spices for cooking, a great grill for grilling, towels for lounging, a great balcony for dinners, and a quiet space for relaxing. The beds were very comfortable. The six of us have no complaints. The two extra guests do not have a bathroom if sleeping on the sofa couch, but they were able to use our spacious bathroom in the master, and it worked out perfect. Alfred was quick to respond to anything we asked. I highly recommend it!!

Marathon’s most comfortable residence

The property was beautiful and very well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could possibly need. Beach stuff, kayaks, and bicycles were in good condition. We had a wonderful time there.

Excellent property

Everything about this property was excellent. Beautifully decorated, comfortable bed and furniture. Kayaking was great. We fished from the dock and caught a lot of fish. Lots of fun. We saw manatees almost every day. All around a great trip. Would definitely recommend.
