Great quick weekend stay.

The start was great, as others stated the upstairs noise can be pretty loud. The back yard is nice, but a fire pit would have been nice which is shown in the pictures, but isn’t there. The areas grade walkable to lots of location perfect weekend stay. Updated pictures would be great.

Does not look like the pictures.

Nothing about our stay was good. We got there and the keypad did not work to get in. Once we finally get in I could tell the bed had been slept in and not cleaned. The cleaning people then showed up once we had already checked in. The place does not look like the pictures, the furniture is different. The backyard is very very very trashy. The walls are paper thin and we could hear the people above us till 3am. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Sweet hideaway

I was very pleased with this charming home away from home. Great location, right around the corner from terrific shops and restaurants, and a short drive to downtown.

Not what we were expecting.

Inside was clean, but whole unit sloped toward the back/ kitchen area. We could hear everything going on upstairs apt, like a echo effect. No info on how to work tv/ streaming devices. Outside front and back were very dirty, some renters with pets did not clean up after them. Outside washer/dryer area was nasty, nothing looked clean. Great neighborhood, will never stay at this property again.

Paper thin walls — neighbor noise is bad

Unit A is a cute place in a great area, but the major issue is the paper thin walls. If someone rents Unit B above you, you will hear every single footstep and every word they say. Unfortunately, we had a rowdy, partying group, who blasted music until 11pm. We asked them to turn it down. They did, until they returned from the bars at 2am with a huge group of loud, drunken friends. We had to ask them to be quiet again. They calmed down slightly until the second drunken group returned at 5am. The owner, after we complained, told them quiet hours were from 10pm to 6am. The next day they blasted music during the day. Then, that night at 4:30am they returned drunk from the bar and were loud yet again. Since you will have no idea if Unit B is rented until you arrive, I would not recommend this place if you want to keep “normal” hours. If you want to party, this is the place for you. Although, maybe you would annoy the upstairs neighbors because they will definitely be able to hear you.

Wonderful Stay

We had a great stay at this location. It’s located near downtown in a beautiful neighborhood. It’s a short walk to several delicious restaurants. It is definitely somewhere we would want to stay at again.

Best weekend with my fiance and best location!

I stayed there with my fiance for a weekend trip to Austin and we will stay there again on our next visit for sure! Mireille, the host was wonderful and very helpful. The place was super cute, very clean and the location was perfect. Short walk to everything. I have to ask the host where she bought her beddings because the pillows and comforter were so comfortable! The bottle of wine was also a very nice welcome touch! Highly recommend this place to everyone.

Perfect Downtown Austin Vacation Rental! Glad we found this place!

My wife and I loved this place. We came to Austin to help our son get ready for college and this place made us feel like home. Very clean, had everything we needed, convenient location, could take a short walk and go have diner. We had a great time. The backyard was also a bonus, able to enjoy Austin evening in our backyard. This is going to be our place to stay next time we come and visit our son. Glad we found this house. Thank you Mireille!
