The cabin is very comfortable and homey. Everything is in perfect working order, clean, and cozy. Communication with the owner was excellent.

The Pines was the perfect location for our two day excursion into the Jamez Springs area. We are three adults and appreciated the fact that we each had our own bedroom, with comfortable beds, and plenty of warm blankets. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the birds and squirrels frolic in the grass. The Blue Jays were quite colorful. As I said, the location was perfect and it met our expectations.

Secluded cabin a short drive to the Valles Caldera, Los Alamos, and Jemez Springs. The kitchen is stocked well with cooking materials allowing you to stay home and make dinner after a long day of hiking and enjoying the Jemez Mountains. The cabin has many games, books, movies and access to streaming content if you get stuck in doors due to the weather. The front porch is a perfect place to quietly eat a meal and enjoy nature. We have enjoyed seeing deer and humming birds. The cabin is perfect for one person, families, and groups of friends. Really a wonderful place!

Plenty of space at the Pines with 4 bedrooms. Full-size kitchen and gas grill as well. A good location for going to Valles Caldera and other hiking spots in the area. Recommend!

Excellent cabin located deep in the Jemez Mountains. Perfect base for hiking, day trips to Los Alamos and enjoying all the Jemez has to offer. Nice for one person or two families.

Martha was easy to communicate with. The place was clean and cozy and we had everything we needed in the kitchen. We enjoyed the front porch and the view. The location was great for what we did.

This was very convenient and reasonable for a stay in the mountains. It is close to a store and not far from the road. Once you are at the cabin, you feel like you are far away from everything and just get the chance to enjoy nature. The cabin had everything we needed and more. If you are a book lover or want to watch movies, you will never tire of the selection.There were five of us and we used all four of the bedrooms and had fun choosing which suited us best. The porch was our favorite spot. So comfortable and we saw a few deer from the porch. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed this property.

This cabin is well loved and has a lot of character. My 10 year old was enamored with the bird room and I so enjoyed my morning coffee on the porch, looking out on the ponderosas. We played records and danced in the living room and read outside under the trees. The setting is rustic and so is the cabin - if you are looking for a spotless, modern aesthetic you will not find that here. But I had the best night's sleep in a long time here and the price for the size is an incredible value.

Wonderful weekend in the Jemez. The house was nice and warm. We enjoyed watching the birds in the morning on the porch. Close to the Valles Caldera and hiking paths. Even enjoyed a drive to the Valles Caldera at night to try and see the comet.

Great place to stay!

Our family stayed here for several days to enjoy the beautiful Jemez mountains. We had a nice vacation and enjoyed the cabin. The host was very accommodating and easy to work with. She responded to my questions quickly.

Great Location

The condo is beautiful with all the creature comforts of home. It is in an excellent location to take advantage of Angel Fire and the surrounding sites (Taos, Red River, Eagles Nest etc.)

Have been staying here since 2015. It is perfect for our needs. We enjoy sitting on the porch looking at Redondo Peak while watching the hummingbirds, squirrels, wild birds and bats. Will come again next year.
