The Dragonfly Cottage is a private vacation home located on the Jemez River, surrounded by majestic cliffs and large cottonwood trees. The cottage is perfect for families, small groups or couples seeking a private getaway. The cottage features two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill outside. The cottage also has a wood burning fireplace and large redwood deck. The Dragonfly Cottage is the perfect base camp to explore Jemez Springs and the surrounding area.

Great getaway spot

The view from the house was amazing. They have added so many great places outside to relax. There is a river right out back just pull up a chair and listen to birds and watch the sunrise and sunset. The house had everything we needed. Just be prepared- there really is no cell service.

Beautiful

We already knew this would be a great place, based on reviews and visits to the area. We were not disappointed and 100% enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views and beautiful house. Super clean, comfortable and functional. Thank you! Area-wise, we enjoyed the Hot Springs, Los Ojos, and Battleship Rock picnic area.

Super cottage with great views

Terrific stay. Very relaxing with a lovely fireplace and yard on the river. Kitchen was super and excellent hot showers! Will definitely return. Thanks!

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This cottage was the perfect choice. It was nice, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Being right next to the river was amazing! The Mountain View from the kitchen window and the backyard deck was incredible! We plan to stay again in the summer or fall.

Best. Vacation. Ever!!!

This cabin was THE best place my husband and I have been to ever! The house is beautiful, clean and QUIET! Staying next to the river was an ultimate plus! We are hoping to come back again, and it was worth the drive from Florida!

Beautiful Piece of Heaven

This VRBO is magical. The outdoor space on this property is SPECTACULAR. Multiple patios and decks with plenty of shade and seating. Stunning views of the canyon walls match the delightful sounds and sights of the river babbling through the property. The cottage is cute with a simple charm. Jemez Springs is an artsy kickback community, beautiful and surprising to explore on foot. It's location in the Jemez Mnts offers many special and interesting day trips. Heads Up: when we return we'll come with the groceries we need - no store in JS and the small cute grocer 20 min drive north - may . . . have what you need? This place is definitely a Piece of Heaven in the Land of Enchantment Peggy A.

Quaint Little Get-a-way

If you are looking for a beautiful place to disconnect and unwind, this property checks all the boxes. The house is clean and has a beautiful back porch and access to a deck overlooking the river. We arrived on Friday early evening - and it snowed overnight so we woke up to a winter wonderland. Nick was very communicative, and helpful. I would for sure consider staying here, again.

Restful holiday getaway!

Second time coming to this quaint cottage for the Christmas holiday and plan on making it a tradition! So nice to get away from the stress and craziness of this time of year!

Everything perfect

Two nights with full day to explore Jemez River valley. We love this place. Cottage location next to the river, quiet and peaceful, no street traffic noise. Comfortably furnished and everything (even every light bulb) worked. Very nice and efficient heating with separate control each room. We will be back later this year to enjoy Jemez hot spring and the scenery we missed on this trip due to limited time. and isStunning, picturesce

Relaxing and enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay fully. The cottage is warm, sunny and inviting. I like all the windows. Enjoyed reading on the deck by the river with all the fall color, sipping coffee on the patio while the sun appeared on the cliffs above, and playing cards after dark at the kitchen table. Lots of great hikes up canyon.
