The Dragonfly Cottage is a private vacation home located on the Jemez River, surrounded by majestic cliffs and large cottonwood trees. The cottage is perfect for families, small groups or couples seeking a private getaway. The cottage features two bedrooms and one full bathroom with a bathtub and shower. Each bedroom has a queen sized bed. There is a fully equipped kitchen and gas grill outside. The cottage also has a wood burning fireplace and large redwood deck. The Dragonfly Cottage is the perfect base camp to explore Jemez Springs and the surrounding area.

Beautiful Getaway

My sister, my husband, our dogs and I stayed here for two nights. I wish it had been more! The cottage was nestled beautifully next to the river and mountains. Our favorite place in the mornings and evenings was out on the deck next to the river. It was beautiful, peaceful and so fun to birdwatch! The cottage was very comfortable and we slept great in the comfy beds. Everything we needed was supplied, along with a nice smart tv, wifi, magazines, games, etc. The cottage was bigger than the photos on VRBO conveyed. Thank you for sharing this wonderful place!!

Great getaway spot

The view from the house was amazing. They have added so many great places outside to relax. There is a river right out back just pull up a chair and listen to birds and watch the sunrise and sunset. The house had everything we needed. Just be prepared- there really is no cell service.

We already knew this would be a great place, based on reviews and visits to the area. We were not disappointed and 100% enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views and beautiful house. Super clean, comfortable and functional. Thank you! Area-wise, we enjoyed the Hot Springs, Los Ojos, and Battleship Rock picnic area.

Wonderful Stay

This was our first time traveling for the Thanksgiving Holiday. This cottage was the perfect choice. It was nice, comfortable, quiet, and relaxing. Being right next to the river was amazing! The Mountain View from the kitchen window and the backyard deck was incredible! We plan to stay again in the summer or fall.

Best. Vacation. Ever!!!

This cabin was THE best place my husband and I have been to ever! The house is beautiful, clean and QUIET! Staying next to the river was an ultimate plus! We are hoping to come back again, and it was worth the drive from Florida!

Beautiful Piece of Heaven

This VRBO is magical. The outdoor space on this property is SPECTACULAR. Multiple patios and decks with plenty of shade and seating. Stunning views of the canyon walls match the delightful sounds and sights of the river babbling through the property. The cottage is cute with a simple charm. Jemez Springs is an artsy kickback community, beautiful and surprising to explore on foot. It's location in the Jemez Mnts offers many special and interesting day trips. Heads Up: when we return we'll come with the groceries we need - no store in JS and the small cute grocer 20 min drive north - may . . . have what you need? This place is definitely a Piece of Heaven in the Land of Enchantment Peggy A.

Quaint Little Get-a-way

If you are looking for a beautiful place to disconnect and unwind, this property checks all the boxes. The house is clean and has a beautiful back porch and access to a deck overlooking the river. We arrived on Friday early evening - and it snowed overnight so we woke up to a winter wonderland. Nick was very communicative, and helpful. I would for sure consider staying here, again.
