The beach is one of the most beautiful in the Virgin Islands!
Our condo has just gone through a complete renovation since Hurricane Irma and Maria. Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is one of Saint Thomas's premier resorts with complete amenities. The resort's beach is over a half-mile long, with clear, turquoise water at the shore becoming a rich, deep blue in the distance.
There is nightly entertainment. Amenities include free beach chairs and snorkeling rentals, freshwater pool overlooking the sea along with two tennis courts lit for night play. Volleyball, snorkeling, swimming, wind surfing, sailing: you have it all.
Our unit at Sapphire Beach is luxurious and spacious with spectacular views of Saint John and the British Virgin Islands. Enjoy private balcony, and full kitchen with large living area. The unit has air conditioning, cable TV, ceiling fan, and phones.
Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina is located one mile from the town of Red Hook on the eastern end of the island. Red Hook provides all conveniences and grocery shopping, along with many additional dining options. Ferry service to Saint John and the British Virgin Islands is also available from Red Hook.
Please note that proof of ID will be required as part of our identification security process 45 days before check in.

Everything under the owners control was perfect. The awesome part is this building, (B) had a generator when the power went out, which happens a lot on the island. This resort is perfectly located. Perfect beach view, 2 minute walk to bar and grill, pizza, onsite pool.

We had a great time, the view from the deck was great it never gets old looking at the beach /water!!The food / drinks at the bar and cafe will not disappoint you.. so good!!The suite was updated and has everything we needed for our time in paradise.

We stayed here in April of 2026. Then room and accommodations were wonderful. The bed was comfy and had everything we needed. Would be nice to have some chairs you can easily carry to other beaches. We brought our own cooler, which was good, as there wasn’t one there to use. We will plan to stay here again!

Great location, steps from the beach and a 5 min drive to Red Hook for restaurants. Our condo included beach chairs, snorkeling equipment and towels that was a nice bonus. Our host was great with communication. There was a bar/grill and pizza place (very good!) within a 2min walk. 10/10 would stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

The condo was perfect for a Christmas vacation! We had a great view, and the unit was newly remodeled. We enjoyed the pool views and took the ferry to St. John and did a BVI charter (highlight of the trip). Hong had great communication, and we would definitely rent this condo again. Happy New Year!!

I am not one that typically leaves reviews but this beauty is worth a 5 star review! We just returned from a 7 day stay (1st time on St Thomas) in this ocean front condo and we are already looking forward to returning again next year. Best area overall on the entire island with great beach, pretty waters for good snorkeling, restaurant/bar and beautiful pool. Great owner/host with quick response time too!

Location is what you come for with this property! It is so close to the beach and gorgeous views. It has all of the basic amenities. I would probably not recommend for extended vacations as we only had 6 towels for 3 people for the week with no washer or dryer. It would be ideal to have the closet utilized for a W/D instead of the beach items. The majority of the beach items were broke/damaged or not usable so I would plan to bring your own. You will have to 100% supply any kitchen cooking essentials as there is only salt and pepper. No paper towels, wipes or kitchen rags to clean with and watered down dish soap for handwashing (no dishwasher). Only one roll of toilet paper supplied. The blender did break on us while we were there but we bought a brand new one to replace and keep at the property. Make sure you stock up on EVERYTHING at the start of your trip as not to have to pack it back up when you leave or have to throw it away. Bed was wonderful, pillows and pull out couch, not so much. There were definitely items we were disappointed in and listed but the vacation itself was amazing and we really loved our time in St. Thomas. The location could not have been better for us. Our lizard friend on the patio, chickens and babies, cats and iguanas were our favorite attractions!

Property was just like the pictures on the VRBO App. We absolutely loved our stay. Very Clean. Owner was awesome to communicate with before we arrived amd answered amy qiestions we had. I highly recommend a stay at Hongs place in Sapphire Beach Resort and Marina. Beach is the best on the island.

We discovered Sapphire Beach from our cruise to the island many years ago. The beach has spectacular views of St John and the British VI and it is right next to the town of Red Hook.
