Welcome to Hale Mahina Beach Resort , your Maui home away from home.
Located between Lahaina and Kapalua, it is a short drive to many wonderful Hawaiian experiences. Beachside dining, sunset cruises, snorkeling excursions, hula shows, and championship golf courses, just to name a few. If you don't feel like driving, our Maui public bus, which provides service to the most popular areas of the island, stops 100m from the resort.
If you feel like island hopping, there is a small comuter airport a short distance away.

Set amongst palm trees and hibiscus flowers, this oceanfront resort boasts not only lush landscaping, but it's own private beach! Please not that seasonally, the beach may be inaccessible due to strong currents removing sand.

Take a dip in the pool, soak in the jacuzzi or simply relax on the lounge chairs provided for your convenience on our oceanfront lawn. The BBQ area, complete with tables and benches, is a perfect spot to watch the sunset while cooking dinner or meeting other guests.
From our beach, you can enjoy swimming or snorkeling with the many fish and turtles that inhabit our reef. There is even a company that will deliver stand up paddle boards to your door!
Please note: occasionally, during summer months, storms can “carry” some sand away temporarily.

From our spacious, private lanai, enjoy the famous West Maui sunsets where you have unobstructed views of our neighboring islands. During the winter months, you will be entertained by the frequent humpback whale shows. Fall asleep to the rustle of the palm trees and the sound of the waves gently lapping on the beach below.

Other features of the condo include queen sleeper sofa, fully equiped kitchen with dishwasher, newly remodeled bathroom with custom walk-in shower, queen size bed with quality linens. For your entertainment, there is a large HDTV, DVD player, Iand free WiFi.
In addition to the lanai table, there is a dining table for four for further dining options.
Please note that the condo is on the third floor with an elevator, but there are two steps going to the living room if you have mobility issues.

Perfect vacation spot

Lovely Stay

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay here. The location, the view from the balcony was all just amazing. Seeing the turtles and seals come up on the beach was very exciting to watch. We also were treated to a whale show from our balcony which was a real treat. If we go back to Maui, we would definitely love to stay here again.

Wonderful Honeymoon

This condo was fabulous. Perfect for our daughters honeymoon. Close to everything. Turtles every day on the beach and in the water. This complex is our go to every time we visit Maui

Dream location

The condo was everything we hoped it would be, It was well stocked and comfortable. Rebecca was the perfect host. The location is ideal, the beach and the view are beautiful. A great place for sitting on the lanai with your morning coffee to watch the whales and the turtles, or an evening cocktail to view the sunset. We will be back as soon as possible with the whole family!

Amazing view!!

This property looked exactly the same in-person as it did in the photos. The location is perfect! Neighbors are friendly and shopping is convenient. There is a fabulous cross breeze when you open the front door (there is a locked screen door that remains closed) as well as the back lanai door. The sounds of the ocean so close by creates a wonderfully tranquil environment. I highly recommend this location.

Fantastic location and accommodations!

We were on the third story and had a great balcony. We watched 8 sunsets in a row there. We could see a sea turtle or two each day come ashore on the beach to rest for a few hours! Amazing beach for the people who stay/live there. Great snorkeling also. Very quiet, had a parking spot included, felt safe and had everything we needed. There were beach towels, chairs, swimming noodles, snorkeling and flippers available. It was awesome! Highly recommend!

Lovely place, great beach/pool, whale watching/view

My husband and I spent a lovely vacation in this property and it was pretty perfect! Loved having the washer/dryer. Kitchen had most things we needed and the pots/pans were in great shape which is a nice change from a lot of rentals we've stayed in. Mattress could use a refresh - it was comfortable but as someone else mentioned, it leans towards the middle so be sure you like the person you're sleeping with. :-) View from the balcony was spectacular and we spent a large amount of time whale and turtle watching from the table there!

First Maui Visit

This property is awesome! Unit was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. The complex is only two buildings, which helps limit the number of people around. Not having AC was not an issue. Host responded promptly to questions and was very easy to work with. We watched whales and turtles from our lanai each day we were there. The view of the ocean from the lanai cannot be beat. You are very close to the ocean. The sand area of the beach is smaller but adequate. There is plenty of lawn space and beach chairs for everyone.

Great beachfront property

The best part about the property are the amazing views of the beach and sunsets. Turtles come all the time and just lie on the beach. It’s a small private beach which is great as well. The unit does not have air conditioning but that didn’t bother us at all, the unit has plenty of great air circulation and the weather is great all year round. The unit was very clean wen well stocked. The beach can be a little rocky inside the water so keep that in mind but has some grear fish for snorkelling. Watched people head out a bit further and conveniently surf as well. Would definitely stay again. Communication and access to the property was extremely smooth as well.

Stunning Sunsets

The condo is in a beautiful location with panoramic views and stunning sunsets. There is a sandy beach a few feet away with gentle waves perfect for snorkeling The Manager’s wife accosted us within 5 minutes of arrival regarding our “group”reservations. This was a family vacation for which we rented four condos. I’ve stayed at Hale Mahina several times with family and had no problems but this time we had children with us and the manager targeted his reprimands on them if they laughed too loudly in the pool or played catch with a nerf football in the grass area. The condo was very nice and aptly supplied for our stay.

Amazing sunset!

Having stayed in Lahaina previously at a different place, I knew the surrounding. It was my husband's and son's first time in Maui. We really liked how smooth the check-in process was. The view was amazing and I spent a lot of time watching the sunsets. I cooked one night, pots were of high quality, there were an adequate amount of spices (could be a few more). Loved having a washer/dryer inside the condo. The complaint was from our 15-year-old as the pull-out couch was springy and hard to be comfortable with. Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful condo.

Beach escape

We used the condo as our base for exploring Maui. We very much enjoyed our stay. Our highlight was returning each evening to watch the sunset over the ocean from the balcony. The accommodations matched the listing. We appreciated having a washer and dryer in the unit and all of the beach gear available. We found the beach at the condo to be good for a quick dip in the evening but we would not spend all day there. The vibe of the pool and beach area is more adults just hanging out and we felt more comfortable going to nearby beaches to let our three and two year old enjoy themselves. Overall, we were very satisfied with our stay and if we are lucky enough to return to Maui we would look this place up to try to stay here again.

Incredible view!!

We did like this property very much! The view from the lanai area was great & so loved hearing the sound of the ocean when we slept. All was good in kitchen except 1 fry pan(medium sized) had a bit of rust?/grease? on it. Towels were awesome for size and we found entry to place easy access for us! Elevator close @ hand good & quiet neighbors. The only issue we had was the stairs as both of fell even though we had treads on our flip flops. There was an instant light that alerted us to steps but this was our 1st time in a condo where we should have more diligent in where we were walking. Loved the drawers for storage! Didn't know bbq was charcoal only, maybe we didn't read that part of the guide book. We were glad to be in the area.

Beautiful Maui condo

We loved this condo - the view and whale/dolphin/turtle watching were amazing! The condo has everything you need and we loved being so close to the water. We used the sofa bed and it was very comfortable. Every afternoon two or three turtles came up to rest on the beach and weren't bothered at all by the people, who fortunately kept their distance. It's a very pretty, small property with a very nice pool and hot tub. There were plenty of lounge chairs to sit on the lawn right next to the beach. It's a nice swimming beach and the snorkeling is pretty good. You will usually see turtles and there's a fair amount of fish over by the rocks to the right of the beach. We snorkeled twice and it was kind of murky, even when the water appeared calm, but it was nice to be able to snorkel right off the beach - we weren't really expecting that. Snorkeling might be better in the summer. We found great snorkeling in nearby Napili Bay (right side), Wailea area in South Maui and Honolua Bay to the north. We also highly recommend PacWhale Eco Adventures for a whale watching trip - it was fantastic and the guides very knowledgeable. Communication was very easy with the condo owner and the other residents/guests were friendly. The hibiscus on the property are amazing - colors I've never seen anywhere else. Would definitely stay there again! Maui is more expensive than ever, but there are a few great happy hour places - both MonkeyPod locations (Whaler's Village and Wailea), Sea House restaurant at Napili Bay and Beach House Bar & Grill on the Sands of Kahana property. All are close to the condo except the Wailea MonkeyPod location.

Maui get away

We had beautiful views and loved our time on the lanai. The condo does not have a/c, but there are many fans that keep air circulating. It was nice to have access to the beach, however it did wash away part way through our stay due to strong tides. The turtles were fun to watch both in the water and on the beach! The condo is located within a short drive of many attractions. It was a great, relaxing get away!

Spectacular

This condo is absolutely amazing. The view is breathtaking (we saw so many turtles every day and the sunsets, oh my gosh). The little beach right in front it perfect. The pool/hot tub are right in front of the ocean so you don’t have to miss out on the views in their either. Don’t let the no ac scare you away, especially during the fall months. It was so breezy and I was rarely ever too warm, the sleeping with the fans made it super comfortable. Condo has everything you need for cooking and all other needs. Complex is very quiet and relaxing. Will be back again!

Great property!

This unit was perfect for us. It had all that we needed for our 10 day stay. It was clean and comfortable. The property/complex was well-maintained and everyone we met was very welcoming and friendly. It's important to know that the unit is not air-conditioned and it got very hot in the late afternoon between 4 and 6 pm; however, it cooled down for watching the sunset from the balcony. Also, the beach access is difficult when the ocean swells come from the south. We saw a full rainbow over the water one morning, several sea turtles in the afternoon, and even a monk seal playing in the surf one day. Overall, a great place to stay and we would definitely return.

Piece of Heaven in Maui!

This is what I remember as a kid! This place is a piece of heaven in Maui! This is one of the few places still like it in Maui. Amazing amazing amazing! Private beach, snorkeling right outside of property! We saw so many turtles and fish. The condo was amazing and some perks that the condo came with snorkeling and beach gear. You won’t regret this place! We loved our stay and planning on coming back next year. There I no ac but if you open the doors and windows the air blows right through. Overall amazing!
