1000 square ft. cottage/ 2 story/fully equipped/modern furnishings/designed for life at the beach/washer & dryer/WIFI, sleep up to 6 people, pet friendly. All you need to do is bring your food, we have all your major and minor appliances, dishes, silverware, pot and pans, coffee maker, blender, toaster, all your towels and sheets and blankets, pillows. Onsite Innkeeper. If this cottage shows booked we have 3 more just give me a call. Walking distance to the beach

We stay here every year and love the property and the owners. It’s clean, has everything we need for a 4 day stay - kitchen, board games, washer dryer, comfy beds! A short 10 minute drive to the main beach access and main strip with all the activities. We will be back next year!

Perfect for a thanksgiving stay

Truly wonderful. Very dog friendly, complete with swifter mop. Very, very clean. Well stocked kitchen with pretty much everything you’d need for a big meal. In the off season, the street wasn’t busy and was perfect for long walks to the beach with dogs. Only thing was there’s only one bathroom. There’s a sink only upstairs, and no door for the loft area which was no issue for me. Parking was great for two cars with plenty of space. Overall, 10/10. Would come back can’t beat for the price.

Just Right.

Looks practically new, with nice finishes and *very* clean and comfortable. Plenty of space for our family of 4 to hang out separately and together. Appreciated that our dog was welcome too! Had everything we needed for the weekend, much better than stay in a hotel. Will come again!

Wonderful birthday celebration weekend!

The cottage is spacious, clean, and beautiful. I was hoping for a bit more of the sound and view of the ocean, but the location was wonderful and the beach is just a short walk from the cottage. The bicycles that were available for us were great fun! It was wonderful that we were allowed to bring out little dog with us so that we didn't have to stress out about finding a dog sitter. If you are looking for a spacious, lovely place to bring your family, this is it.

Great place for family with dog

Rose and Jim's cottage was the perfect size for our family of 6, plus our dog. Beds were comfortable and had all the amenities and appliances needed for a weekend trip. The plate of cookies were gone within a few hours of our arrival! Just a 7-8 min drive into town and also to the edge of Ocean Shores for a great area to walk and build sandcastles. My folks are picky people but had great things to say about this rental. Thank you Rose and Jim!

Mother, Daughters getaway

Great location! Within walking distance from beach access. My mother, sister and myself really enjoyed our stay. The 2 large beds we slept in were very comfortable. Loved the large dining room table. Great for playing board/card games on. We went to town and bought dice and cards as we forgot to bring ours. The ramp attached to our unit was extremely helpful for my mother and her dog. The only thing that would have made our stay perfect was if the unit had a handicap shower stall as my mothers mobility is limited. Other than that this place is very cute and comfy! Oh and the cookies waiting for us were delicious!!

Fun Cottage

Cute little cottage that was the perfect size for my family and dogs. Great appointed kitchen with freshly baked cookies to greet us (nice touch). Wifi was a bit spotty so my teenage son was forced to play board games (they had Scrabble, Battleship and Poker chips). So that was sort of a win for me. Haha! Great selection of DVDs. The beach was a bit rocky on this side. But loved how we could easily walk to it. It was a great little getaway. Highly recommend.

Cute cottages

Recently wanted a getaway with my friends somewhere far from where our work could find us and make us work :) loved how close to the beach we were . Easy walk to the beach and felt it was a safe area . However I'm giving it 4 stars not 5 because it was hot in the house & with only 4 windows that opened it was had to cool down in the house . I also had a handicap cottage which was cool ( none of us needed a handicap one though) but having a wheelchair bound brother I couldn't imagine having him I there . The bathtub is not wheelchair friendly , too much furniture to have a wheelchair and bedroom non wheelchair friendly ( bed too close to door - also door doesn't shut ) We LOVED how well stocked everything was , welcome cookies , ice trays , dish soap , the bathroom supplies ! Also love the soap in the shower !! Everything we didn't think to bring y'all had !! Thank you so much! We would stay here again in a heartbeat !

Cleanliness - gone to the dogs )-:

Although there were thoughtful touches- coffee; coffee creamer; dish soap, & laundry detergent.... we could not get over how dirty & unkept the entire “cottage” was. Dog hair everywhere! Covering the tile floors, underneath all the furniture; in corners of rooms, even the king beds’ comforter cover was covered in dog hair! (And we don’t own a dog!) Bed linens were stained & dirty on the king bed; & both twin beds. Debree on carpets & stairs; & under all furniture & beds. A crevice tool to get dead bugs & dirt along where the carpet meets the walls would do wonders! Mouse dropping in a kitchen cupboard. Lots of food crumbs in all the various kitchen utensil drawers. Dust & cobwebs coating lampshades, light fixtures, pictures, mirrors. Entire cottage needs a thorough cleaning! Hosts should seriously consider having a few of their cottages as “no pets allowed,” for those travelers who have animal allergies, or don’t want to live in other people’s animal hair. The hosts also charge a hefty “cleaning fee”.... not sure how that money is being put to use!? Also, travelers note that the only bathroom with a toilet is downstairs, while the king bed & two twin beds are upstairs... Something to think about if you use the bathroom in the middle of the night. We had such high hopes; but felt oversold & underdelivered. Would never stay here again. And would certainly not recommend to anyone. Look elsewhere.

This place is so Awesome, Its off the beaten path from town esp on Holiday weekend...I got a 2 bedroom cabin and finally ventured in to look at the Lodge...Holy smokes its amazing every corner etc has memories laying on shelves piano's Etc...And Outside is the same so much love put into it..To much to explain and I met the owner and he Was beyond kind...I want to own this place...:) I will be back...

Property was great,home was perfect size for my family,close to the beach… just wish it had more staple items ( cookie sheet pizza cutter more silverware… did fine crumbs in and under couches alot of dust in bathroom window and light fixture in kitchen … but overall it was good we would rent again

Great Stay!

Great property with all the essentials and lots of space to sprawl out and relax! Easy access to beach and short drive to main beach access, shops & food. We have stayed here 3 years in a row and will be back again for Summer.

Our favorite place to stay near ocean shores

It's always great staying here. We come back every year. It's clean, has laundry option, sleeps out whole family and is quiet area. Walking distance to a beach area and allows our dogs to join us!

This was amazing great little place form my family of 6 we had a fun time socializing and walking the beach. Our family dog lost his mind at the beach first time to the ocean.
