Everything brand new and and professionally decorated! Now open for guests June 2025!

The only 3 bedroom in Island Winds. Gorgeous main floor unit walks right out to beach or heated pool. 3 bedrooms, 3 bath unit has been totally redone with quality workmanship and finishing. Completely furnished with a fully outfitted kitchen and everything you'll need for your beach vacation, including an in-unit washer and dryer and covered parking. Four screened lanais allow you to enjoy a relaxing beverage or ocean breeze and breathtaking sunsets. Free WiFi and Premium cable with 55' flat screen TV. Widest beach on the island!

These luxury facilities are located on a premier area of Fort Myers Beach with a Trolley stop right outside the door. There's a pool and a hot tub, plus a tiki hut on the beach and a grill station.

Sleeps up to 8 people. This gorgeous unit has a king, a queen, and twin beds with a trundle bed, plus a queen air mattress if needed. Restaurants, shopping, watersports, bike rental, beachfront cabanas, and Publix are all close by!

Starter soap, shampoo and conditioner, lotion, laundry soap, toilet paper, paper towels are provided, as well as outdoor furniture, beach chairs, beach towels, an umbrella, and a beach wagon.

The complex is officially back open for guests, and we can't wait to welcome you back to Fort Myers Beach! Same gorgeous unit, same fantastic location, and same hosts and caretaker.

We recommend travel insurance for your protection. Please make note of our cancellation policies.

Note: Island Winds requires a 2-week minimum during peak season (December 15 - April 30) and a 1-week minimum for the rest of the year.

Saturday - Saturday rentals May - August. If you're looking for different days or lengths of stays, please ask.

Loved this condominium. Perfect location, walk right out to the beautiful beach. Condo has everything you need. Beautifully decorated, and very clean. Everywhere was super nice. Fantastic vacation, do not hesitate to rent.

Great Condo! Clean, spacious and easy to get in and out to pool, beach, etc. Communication with owner was great - made check-in and check-out super stress free.Highly recommend and would stay here again.

Great Vacation!The condo is spacious and clean. Everything is new and beautifully done. The pool area and grilling area are great. The condo has easy access to the beach which is nice. Quality beach equipment is provided. We saw dolphins every day which was awesome. Found lots of shells. The host and property manager were great to work with. We will definitely be back!

May beach Vacation

Loved the size and location of this property. Having 3 large bedrooms each with it's own bathroom was fabulous since all staying were adults!!! We would definitely book this property again in the future!!!

Beautiful beach view!

We loved this rental! Beachfront, spacious rooms, extremely well equipped kitchen, etc. , walking distance to restaurants, etc. Pool and hot tub were excellent too! Many beach towels, cooler, wagon with lots of beach chairs. We had bicycles delivered and rode to many breakfasts and also to Lover Key state park and into Bonita Springs. We had wonderful weather our entire trip. We especially loved every sunset from our front lanai and an added plus was that someone had “God Bless America” playing in perfect time to the sun setting! We all stood with our hand over our heart , very moving!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

TBH...a little disappointed

First off, the location is great because it’s right on the beach. That was first and foremost for us, and it is hard to have a bad time when you are that close to the beach. But the accommodations left much to be desired. I don’t think it was cleaned before we got there. The beds were not neatly made, and the trundle bed was not clean - the covers were bunched up and there was dirt and sand in the bed. Right when we walked in, you could smell the mold/mildew. I don’t know if that’s normal for being on the beach, but other places we’ve stayed at didn’t have that smell. Within the first two hours, we saw the largest cockroach I’ve ever seen crawling across the wall. Then we found ants all over the coffee table. I went to take my first shower, and the bath rug was filthy and there were hair shavings all over the soap/shampoo dish. Disgusting. Luckily the soap/shampoo dish shelf was too high for my wife to see or I think she would have pulled the plug right then. We weren’t expecting the Ritz Carlton from the pictures, but this place was in rough shape. Mostly just dirty, but also rough around the edges. We would have cleaned ourselves but we couldn’t find any cleaning products. I don’t know how you can have that many glass windows and tables without a bottle of windex. It wasn’t really well-stocked either. We had to buy soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags. We didn’t let the accommodations spoil our plans - the beach makes up for a lot - but we were expecting better. The place has a great layout, three separate beds and baths on the ground floor with easy access to the pool/beach. I think it has the potential to be one of the best places on the island. Maybe they just had an off week or a subpar cleaning service - I don’t know - but just moderate your expectations and you’ll be fine. The owner/manager did communicate well, so points for that.

Kevin, we're sorry to hear the home didn't meet your expectations. We use a professional cleaning service and will absolutely follow-up with them to make sure they don't miss the trundle bed in the future and are cleaning to the standards we expect. As to the problem with bugs, Island Winds contracts for pest control on a regular basis and we'll let them know the property needs servicing. We don't personally have any control over the scheduling. Even though Island Winds is not a new complex, we try to keep the unit looking fresh. The carpet is less than a year old and we've added new memory foam mattress toppers, new dining room chairs, etc, and replace the linens and pillows regularly. Additionally, we do usually keep a small supply of cleaning products under the sink and in the laundry room. We'll check if those need to be replaced. As to the toilet paper, etc, as our rental agreement states, renters are responsible for those items themselves, although we provide starter toilet paper, paper towels and soap for guests until they have a chance to get to the store. And, of course, they're welcome to use any products left behind by previous guests. Again, we apologize and would have been happy to have sent the cleaning service back through if you had let us know about the issues you found upon arrival. Edited to add: Island Winds is having their pest control company come out to service the property.

Great location wonderful spacious condo on the beach. Friendly and accommodating owner and property manager. Had all the beach goodies for my family to use. The beach canopy and wagon were life savers!! Can't wait to come back again!!

Island Winds

Great rental on the quieter end of the island. It's a great property in a great location. Loved having the beach chairs, awning, floaties and a wagon to take them to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location

Great location right on the beach, close enough to downtown Fort Myers beach but far enough away to enjoy a quiet family vacation. Owner and property manager were both great communicators. Highly recommend!!!!!

Right on the beach. Well supplied with everything one needs. Plenty of beach chairs and having a wagon to transport was so handy. Very close to the pool. Would definitely go back again.!

Fort Myers Beach to get away.

John, the owner, was lovely to work with. He was very friendly. As well as Jerry, his property manager. The sea life was amazing. We saw dolphins several days in a row, pink spoon bill birds, cranes, 26 conch shells, 5 sand dollars, is me I even saw a double rainbow.. The condo is a very nice size. It is a great place to bring your family.

Great week on beautiful beach

Roomy well furnished unit with plenty of towels and start up items like toilet tissue, shampoo, body wash, miscellaneous spices, sunscreen, lotions, etc. Kitchen had plenty of dishes and cookware. LOTS of beach toys and helpful beach wagon with nice beach chairs and umbrella. Pool well maintained. Ice maker didn't work but owner responded promptly that it would be fixed. We just bought bagged ice which he offered to reimburse us for. Great location. Close to Santini Plaza which had sever good restaurants and super ice cream! Hope to go back again.

Location location location

Walk out the door to the Sandy beach….. or out the other door to the pool. Almost forgot we were in a condo community. Stores and restaurants in walking distance. Great farmers market too. Away from the throngs of times square in a very safe area. Beach clean and not very populated. Great shelling too.

Ocean front at Island Winds 103

Amazing views from Island Winds 103. Plenty of room for our family of 7 adults. The storage closets outside of the condo had plenty of beach chairs, an umbrella, etc. Pool and hot tub nicely maintained. Condo was surface cleaned but bedding could be cleaner and bed pillows should be replaced. It was nice to have plenty of bath and beach towels. Fort Myers restaurants were excellent and everyone in our family enjoyed dining out for sunset outdoor dinners.

great place to be together

3 friends plus myself went to celebrate or 60th birthdays together. We spent most of the day at beach, which was clean and full of shells. and then the pool which was clean and shaded most of the day. the room was laid out perfect for us. each had our on bathroom and bedroom. and they had everything in a closet for beach play. which was awesome too. Great to work with and had a wonderful relaxing sunny time.... AND YES. will be going. back...

Great condo, location, amenities

The condo was exactly as described. All we had to do was bring ourselves — it was equipped with all the beach items you would need………plenty of beach towels, chairs, umbrella, beach toys, wagon and there was some sunscreen in the closet. Kitchen was fully equipped with everything and more. We were very impressed and will definitely stay here again. Thanks for a wonderful time had by all.
