The property is in a beautiful location and has been nicely remodeled. It would benefit from having screens in more than one window to enjoy the lake breezes. The kitchen equipment is well stocked but the addition of a few basic ingredients like olive oil, vinegar, salt and a few other spices would make it easier to cook.

What a great cottage! My husband and I were visiting our son and his new wife for a few days and this was the perfect location!Nice and clean with fantastic views of Lake Chemung. So many golf courses close by, too!Would stay here again!Kim Crisp

Lake cottage

Enjoyed paddle boarding on this lake! Cottage was well supplied especially kitchen. Location was ideal. Would recommend this cottage

Nice place to put our feet up and relax. Clean, updated and well stocked kitchen. Recommend this for a couple who would rather have a bit more space and privacy than hotel room will offer. Will definitely stay again if we get the chance!

Staycation during house renovations

We stayed at this property to be closer to our home so we could check on projects that were being done. We had our dog with us and he loves the lake. The place is very clean and just perfect for what we needed would recommend very highly.

Super cool place

Very nice clean place. Easy check in and out. Good fishing from the pier. Well worth the price. We had a great time and our dog loved it as well. Thank you for a great week!

Awesomesauce!

We loved, loved, loved our stay over the holiday weekend. Great location and lovely time on the water. Peaceful and serene. Lots of room on the lawn and the deck to share some time with family. Great kitchen and well stocked for preparing any kind of meal. We look forward to next year!

Cozy place

Cottage is very nice inside with a great kitchen and many windows facing the water. Due to the attached store there is a lot of people coming onto the property. Other than that it’s a lovely place to stay.

The apartment/cottage was very clean and nicely decorated. The yard felt more like a park. A lot of room and the lake was right there. Lake water was clean and there is a small sandy beach right next to the dock. Couldn't ask for anything more. We had a good x. The fishing could have been better, but the summer heat took it's toll on it.

Fine and clean...

Nice place. A little odd, location, but would be great for someone who brings kayaks or a boat. Nice clean place with new shower and good kitchen. Some hiccups but nice people, low maintenance. Clear ahead exactly what is there and what you need/want. Quiet town, nice lake.

Perfect for us

Place was great space for a couple and our dog. Large unfen ed area for play . Inside looked like recent remodel/refresh and kitchenwas stocked with new dishes and silverware and bathroom had new towels. Host reaponded to questions and e erything worked so never really had to bother host after arrival. Great spot and likely a really great spot in summer with use of lake available. No probs here...its a recommend from us!

An extremely relaxing visit. The place is exactly like it is posted. Very clean, loads of towels and kitchen supplies. Very comfortable bedding and bed. The view out of the bedroom and living room is wonderful. Grass, lake, bunnies, loads to relax and look at..After driving across country for 5 days we found this to be what we needed to relax.Communication with owner was really good. Fast answers to all questions.

Wonderful little cottage

We loved staying here. It's behind a party store as they call them in Michigan (a convenience store), which I had some thoughts about initially regarding foot traffic and the like. But it was very quiet and peaceful. Really beautiful and clean. The lake view and very large grass lawn was awesome. My 7-year-old had a grand old time running around and dipping her toes in Lake Chemung. The inside of the cottage has been recently renovated, has a good layout, and was very comfortable. I hope we can stay here again next time. :)

One of the few times where the pictures of the property are actually accurate! Beautiful kitchen, lots of room, wonderful view of lake.

Lovely on the lake

Property was just as advertised, and Diana was a delight to deal with. It’s clean and spacious and lots of windows with a great view of the lake.

Very much enjoyed our stay!

We had a great time in this little house on the lake. Our girls loved being able to walk to the dock and wade in the water and try to catch a fish. We had a great stay and the owners were very accommodating for our family. Thank you for letting us stay and we hope to stay next time we visit.
