Amazing stay

The outside space is unbeatable it is really private and quiet the views are beautiful the pool is gorgeous and was a winner in the heat sleeps 5 comfortably

Beautiful home in a breathtaking location

Family gathered from four locations to explore the Perigord Noir. The house and pool were a perfect home for a week. Great facilities, lots of safe parking at the house, excellent communication and helpful house manager available to assist. We loved it and would come back again.

14 Days in the Dordogne

Amazing property. Perfect for a family or group. So close to the river and walks. The only thing missing was a boulangerie in walking distance. I would highly recommend.

Stunning Location and Home

Dominque’s home was perfect for our group of two couples. It was spacious with lots of different spaces to relax both inside and out. The pool area was wonderful for relaxing and watching the hot air balloons every morning and night and it was where there was a shower which we all used regularly as there were only baths in the bathrooms inside (which is handy if you have children). Dominque was super responsive before and during our stay, ensuring we had a memorable time. Thank you Dominique, you have a beautiful home which we totally recommend.

Lovely holiday home

My family very much enjoyed our stay in this beautifully quaint, perfectly located home. Our favourite things to do were relaxing by the pool. Preparing family meals at the outdoor kitchen. Walking to the bakery in the morning on the road behind the property. Admiring the idyllic views and hot air balloons. Lush garden - great for butterfly spotting! Playing chess whilst listening to the music collection. We made lovely memories. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Fabulous

Quite simply this house provided everything you could wish for for you holiday. The inside space is well equipped and has been decorated with attention to detail. The bedrooms are spacious and beds comfortable. The terrace is where we spent most of our week, the pool is beautiful and well maintained, very much appreciated in the heat and with the outdoor kitchen/drinks fridge we had no reason to use the inside kitchen. It was so peaceful and yet positioned perfectly for a short stroll into the village which offers plenty of nice restaurants/ bars and quaint shops. Dominique was attentive and swift in communicating. lastly the property is completely secure and safe, reassuring when you are away with family. We will definitely be returning.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux en famille dans cette magnifique maison idéalement située au cœur de La Roque-Gageac et décorée avec énormément de goût. L'emplacement est tout simplement exceptionnel pour découvrir la région, la vue sans pareil et les aménagements extérieurs parfaitement conçus en cette période de canicule.Un immense merci à notre hôtesse pour son accueil si chaleureux. Elle s'est montrée d'une gentillesse incroyable, particulièrement attentive, disponible et d'une grande prevenance tout au long de notre séjour. Tout était pensé pour que nous nous sentions comme chez nous avec de charmantes attentions pour notre arrivée.Nous recommandons les yeux fermés . Merci pour tout !

Le point le plus positif de cette maison c’est sa propriétaire ! Dominique fait tout pour rendre votre séjour fluide et agréable, ses conseils sont précieux.La maison est impeccable et chaleureuse , la literie parfaite.Quant à l’extérieur il est incroyable, la végétation est luxuriante, la piscine géniale et les salons de jardins parfaits.Bref, vous l’aurez compris la maison la région vous garantissent un séjour inoubliable. Fantastic villa in a great location!

We spent a very enjoyable week in this property - it was a real home from home. The outdoor space is just wonderful - spacious terrace with loungers, sofa and 2 dining areas, outdoor kitchen and a truly great pool. Views across the countryside are amazing. The villa was well-equipped and had plenty of space for 5 adults. The beautiful village of La Roque-Gageac is within easy walking distance and we enjoyed kayaking on the Dordogne river, as well as having a choice of places to eat and drink locally. The owner was very helpful about the arrangements prior to our visit and responded quickly to a couple of queries we had during our stay. We would recommend this property and wouldn't hesitate to go back.

De eigenaresse komt halverwege ons verblijf op het terras een controle uitvoeren, telt de waxine lichtjes, controleert de parasols, en de ligbedden. Kijkt onder het tafelkleed op de tafel, en zet alles terug zoals zij dat wenst. Bij ons vertrek wordt de borg niet teruggegeven, met de mededeling dat ze met een vriendin , een getuige zoals zij dat noemt, een controle zal uitoefenen en na goedkeuring , zal de borg dan later teruggestort worden. En dat duurt wel even. Mevr slaapt ook de 1 e en laatste nacht van ons verblijf onder in het huis, dit voelt onvrij evenals de controle. Verder is er geen airconditioning, alleen een lucht bevochtiger in de zolderkamer. Er zijn 2 handdouches, douchen in het bad, onder een zeer schuin dak, niet geschikt voor iemand met rugklachten of op leeftijd. Verder een mooi huis met mooi uitzicht.

Je constate que ma réponse a disparu ! Il me semble important d’apporter quelques vérités même plusieurs années après : Je ne suis pas venue inspecter à mi séjour , je suis venue comme convenu , entretenir la piscine . En traversant la terrasse , je me suis aperçue que les bougies avaient coulé sur ma table en teck , j’ai donc mis des sous coupes pour protéger le bois Je me suis également aperçue qu’un parasol avait été cassé et réparé ( pour servir de tuteurs) avec des crayons de couleur et de la grosse ficelle!!!!!) J’ai également constaté toujours sur la terrasse qu’un vase avec un bouquet de fleurs , dans un joli support avait été cassé, il servait de cendrier ! Donc effectivement, j’ai retenue pour l’ensemble 80 € sur la caution et fait un virement pour le solde dans les 8 jours après le départ ( close indiquée dans le contrat ) Je n’ai pas dormi au sous sol de la maison mais dans notre appartement totalement indépendant car ces vacanciers ont souhaité partir à 5 h30 du matin , j’ai naturellement accepté cette demande et informé que je serai là la veille dans notre appartement, compte tenu de l’heure matinale,

Excellent House and Pool

We had a marvellous time at the house during July. The weather was hot which made the superb pool even more welcome! The check-in process was so slick and easy with everything explained in every detail. The house itself is furnished with impeccable taste and has lovely, large living areas and bedrooms, the kitchen was very well equipped. The outside areas are just what you need for lounging about and also for a spot of lunch/dinner on the terrace - lots of areas to choose where to eat outside, surrounded by the lovely, well kept gardens. The pool is big and was great for cooling off. Restaurants and shops are a short stroll away. We will definitely be going back!!

Maison très agréable, idéalement située

Idéalement située légèrement en périphérie de La Roque Gageac, dans une région magnifique. Agréablement reçue par la charmante propriétaire des lieux. Une maison, très bien équipée où l'on se sent à l'aise très rapidement, agréable à vivre (même à 9) . La vue avec les montgolfières au moment du petit déjeuner ou de l'apéritif est un enchantement. Juste un étonnement en revenant sur le site abritel : le prix de la location a baissé après notre séjour, tant mieux pour ceux qui nous suivront.

Très belle maison

Très belle maison, très agréable, la décoration est soignée, la chambre d'enfants très bien fournie en jeux de société. La terrasse absolument géniale et les propriétaires sont charmants. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour entre amis. A refaire. Virginie, Alexandre et leurs Amis.

Une excellente adresse!

C'est la deuxième fois que nous louons cette maison, qui présente de si nombreuses qualités: charme de la décoration, localisation à l'orée du village de la Roque Gageac, vue superbe de la terrasse sur laquelle est située la piscine. La région est riche de possibilités de visites et d'activités pour grands et petits. La propriétaire des lieux est très attentive aux détails et se coupe en quatre pour faire de votre séjour un moment très agréable. Maison que nous conseillons sans hésiter!

superbe maison avec une terrasse magnifique.Les chambres sont grandes et joliment decorées. La cuisine d'ete avec la plancha est tres pratique .Le point de vue est superbe et la region est a decouvrir :plein de choses a faire et a visiter pour tous les ages. La proprietaire des lieux est tres accueillante avec plein de petites attention .Je conseille vivement cette adresse j'y retournerais volontier!!!
