Best location in Cabrils

We had a great time in this well appointed apartment. The views from the deck are stunning. It's only a short 15 min drive to the beach in Villassar de Mar, with many great restaurants. Great hosts, very accommodating!

Hidden Gem

This was my first trip to Barcelona and I could have not found a better place to stay for my visit. Comfortable and cozy with a beautiful view and the absolute best hosts! The hosts were very attentive, easy to communicate with and very cordial. I loved staying here, so much I plan to come back!

Quiet and pleasant experience in Cabils

The local people are friendly and helpful in the town. Fresh air and great view from the apartment.

Little gem in top of the hill

Everything was nice, clean and the view was spectacular. Monserrat and Jordi were amazing. Jordi recommended some places to eat and view which it was a bonus for our trip. We rented a car at the airport and was the best since the house was at top of the mountain. The roads to get to the apartment was good. I do recommend staying at this property.

Beautiful Cabrils, beautiful apartment.

Our stay was exactly what we need a beautiful area and an amazing apartment and hosts. The area is quiet and you feel as though you are looking over the whole of Cabrils and Barcelona, with the elevated position and views. It’s a Train or car ride to Barcelona and pretty much equal distance to the F1 race track over the other side of the mountain, with a lovely National park situated right behind the property, thank you for our stay, we will be back.

The apartment is lovely. Exactly as described and very comfortable. We really enjoyed the balcony and the view, and the kitchen had lots of things in the cupboards to help with cooking which is a nice touch - it really makes a difference. It was also the cleanest swimming pool of anywhere we have stayed before - and we enjoyed swimming in the pool, on the quieter days that we decided to stay around rather than go out for the day. The mattresses on the sun loungers were also very comfortable!Jordi gave us plenty of ideas of things to do, and we went to Montserrat on his recommendation which is definitely worth a visit.Great restaurants in the local area too :-)The property backs on to a national park and it is great if you want to get our for a run or a walk as we did - there is an interesting old castle not far away to run/walk to.The only downside for us was how noisy it was. It may just be that we happened to pick a bad time to stay, and we fully appreciate this was outside of the owners' control but there were so many power tools being used, a generator next door running noisily one evening until about 8pm and a lot of dogs barking. Because of the valley, it really spreads the noise around. As I say, it may just have been us being a bit unlucky with that, but it is the reason I haven't given it a perfect score as it meant it was not as relaxing we we had hoped.

Jordi, could not have been kinder. Gave us great recommendations on sites and restaurants and helped us using the trains to get in and out of Barcelona easily. The view from the apartment is spectacular and the quiet surroundings are just fabulous after a busy day in Barcelona or the Costa Brava. A car is a must to stay here but you will not be disappointed. Five Stars For Sure!

Perfect apartment ideal for us

If you are looking for an ideal apartment set away in the hills with breathtaking views and silence, then Montserrat and Jordi's stylish accommodation is just what you need. It has everything there for a relaxing stay and our hosts were keen to ensure we were happy with everything and any requirements to let us know. The area of Cabrils is so clean and beautifully set in the hills with the view out to sea. We would recommend hiring a car as the apartment gives a great opportunity to explore the Costa Brava coast or a trip to Girona, though a train is available not far away and does run along the coast to Barcelona. Thank you again Montserrat and Jordi for a lovely week.

Nice view but moldy smell and broken AC (2.5 Stars)

The location or better the nature around it and the view over the city and the sea is amazing, the host is in general a nice dude, but lied about not knowing about the moldy smell (that smell doesn’t come over night, it takes some time and ignorance)sadly the Room stank extremely, the AC was broken and dripping (probably one of the reasons it smells moldy) and when we arrived there was a puddle of approx. 2-3 Liters of water on the floor next to the bed.

Good morning! As you know, there was a big storm with flooded streets the day you arrived and it seems that the window was not properly closed and we did not see any water coming in.. but we dried it immediately so we noticed when you arrived and we apologize. (We have parquet on the floor.. we would never leave water on purpose on wooden parquet as water spoils it) After observing the air conditioning afterwards, we have never seen it drip.. and the technician has checked it and everything works fine… A teenager says that the owner is a liar? .. I'll just leave it here.. I won't give my opinion or make any further comments on the matter… we don't have the same style of education.. Regards!

Incredible location with great host

Nice little apartment but cannot overemphasize the location. First, the balcony with the view of Mediterranean, sunrise, moonrise, the lights below (the wall is a full window if you prefer sitting inside). Second, walk out your door, up the road and on to the mountain trails. My biggest regret was not renting a mountain bike. Third, so easy to drive to the train station on the beach (10 minutes) and get right into Barcelona. Add to that a wonderful host and a very reasonable price and it all made for an excellent week in Spain. Also, secure and easy parking for one car. I would recommend this for a couple although there is also a small loft with a single bed. We did eat in quite a bit but we prepared simple meals (stovetop without an oven, nice little dishwasher and refrigerator- very clean). We were here in January so I didn't use the pool but it was very clean and the yard was beautiful. I plan to return next year.

Stunning and incomparable view, close to great hikes

Loved the property and the proximity to the local park. The hike to the castle is a must, with steep grades. Check-in and out with Jordi was very flexible and easy, though our stay wasn't bookended by others. His recommendations were spot on- take the train into the city, the hike was great. Private parking, as we had a rental car. The place was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Full glass front allows you to wake up looking at the sea and basked in the sunrise. We had a 2 year old there, they provided a pack and play for him to sleep, without request. As an observation, the apartment is lovely, and borderline suitable for a toddler- mostly with concern over the balcony railing (large gaps to allow for open viewing, though keep an eye on a toddler) and beautiful bathroom sink and mirrors for decor- this isn't a critique, but something to be aware of if traveling with a small child. That said- we would not have changed a thing about our plans, and would again return with our 2 year old. Many thanks for an excellent experience and kudos on maintaining a gorgeous property.

Estancia muy agradable con buenas vistas!

Hemos estado la Semana Santa en este apartamento y nos ha gustado muchísimo. Muy limpio, buenas instalaciones, muy luminoso y con unas vistas impresionantes! El sitio es muy tranquilo, con las medidas COVID aplicadas y estas cerca del mar y de la montaña. Un buen sitio para pasar unos días tranquilos y disfrutar del entorno. Y también destacar el servicio que nos han dado, la atención insuperable que hemos tenido. MUY BIEN!

Inmejorable!! Desde el trato de los propietarios.. Atención.. preocupación.. adaptación.. A la estancia en si.. El apartamento súper limpio.. Sin que le falte un solo detalle.. cuidado el más mínimo detalle para que la estancia sea para volver a repetir sin dudarlo!! Lugar ideal.. zona perfecta!! Sin dudarlo volveremos!! Es ideal!! Alojamiento excelente

Hemos estado una semana alojados en este alojamiento y sin duda lo recomendamos totalmente por su ubicación, tranquilidad y su piscina privada. Para nosotros ha sido el alojamiento ideal en estos tiempos de Covid y además la comunicación con los propietarios ha sido excelente.

Una estancia muy tranquila y cómoda

El apartamento es muy cómodo, tiene todo lo que puedas necesitar. La vista al mar desde la terraza es un placer. Además está en una calle sin tráfico y a dos minutos andando de diferentes paseos por el monte. Es un lugar muy tranquilo y apartado de gente. La piscina está muy bien cuidada, es una gozada tenerla en la misma casa. Los dueños son muy atentos y respetuosos al mismo tiempo. Muy recomendable si buscas tranquilidad y estar apartado de núcleos con mucha gente.

EXCELENTES VACACIONES

Woo woo woo ... Excelente.... todo... el lugar realmente espectacular en una preciosa urbanización en medio de un parque natural rodeado de montañas y pinos pero a dos pasos de la playa y de Barcelona. Las vistas al mar son magníficas, el apartamento está muy bien equipado y es muy confortable, todo muy limpio y tiene unas grandes ventanas para disfrutar siempre de la vista. Igual a las fotos. Los propietarios super amables y discretos, nos dieron muy buenos consejos. totalmente recomendable.

Bel appartement, bien situé.

Le logement était conforme à la description, et les propriétaires très sympathiques,et discret. Le quartier est très bien. Proche de Barcelone mais au calme avec une vue magnifique, vraiment très bien. L accès à la piscine est vraiment un plus et il y a également un parking et on a accès à l ensemble du jardin. Je conseil cette appartement.
