Solid, could use a few things.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a very solid place to stay. It could use a new front door, there are cracks in the current on. It needs new shower heads in both bathrooms. Out door patio furnishing and a gas grill that isn't rusted out would make this place very good. Jekyll Island realty is AWESOME, very responsive and a pleasure to do business with.

Very comfortable Home

No complaints other than low tide always being at the wrong time for when we wanted to access the beach from the access directly across from us.

Nice just some suggestions

Enjoyed the stay. It was advertised as having bbq area, the gas grill had no tank and the charcoal grill was extremely dirty and had to be cleaned.

July 2014 Stay

Aaaahhhhh!!! We have loved our stay! Renting a house was the.best decision we could have made, and everything turned out as we had hoped, with no complications! If we rent a house again, we will definitely go through Jekyll Realty again!

Weekend to enjoy Christmas lights

This is an older home but well kept. We enjoyed the "hominess" and the Jekyll room was THE BEST. The neighborhood feels very safe and we enjoyed the feel of nature in the back yard. The beds could use some updating and fixing the light in the yard would make finding the house at night much easier. We all enjoyed our visit and would definitely stay again.

We suggest they need some outdoor furniture – there is only one chair on the back patio. Also suggest that they put some hooks or extra towel racks in the bathroom.

Good but could be great

Great house and location, layout, spacious. Some updating with new clean grout mainly in bathrooms and cleaning dead bugs out of the old light fixtures. Old dirty rugs. A lot of outdoor furniture inside but only one chair outside.

Seating in house not that great. Overall not the best house we have rented on the island. House not clean and you have to wonder why fee is charge when you have to clean house. No bed to make no trash in house so what do they do?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Visiting for a family wedding. Very pleased with the house and location on the island. Spacious rooms, plenty of areas to sit and relax. I know this might not be a big deal to some people but the house has fabulous water pressure & lots of hot water. A couple of the beach access near the house are closed but you are still walking distance & very short drive to beach access. If you enjoy riding bikes....great bike paths.

February 2024 Stay

This is a perfect home on Jekyll Island. We love everything about it. The sunroom is wonderful with a view of the lovely woods behind the house. This gives a feeling of seclusion even though the house is on the main road. Furniture is comfortable. Neighbors are quiet. We can’t say enough positive remarks about this house, just love it.

September 2023 Stay

We came down this year for my 62nd birthday week. 1st family vacation in 6 years. Loved the house! Was a great space for the 5 of us to spread out. Went all over the island either by bike, car or walking. This island is like my 2nd home. I've been coming here all my life My daughter was proposed to on Driftwood Beach. She said yes! When I called the office for anything, everyone did what I needed and more! They have some great employees!

The only negatives would be the smaller bathrooms and the fridge seemed to be on the fritz. We did have an issue with some outlets not working...check those if you need to charge the red buggy! Also, the proximity to the beach and access to bikes and beach chairs was AMAZING! We will be back!

Holly Jolly Christmas

The furniture and bedding was not as comfortable as I would like and outdated. But other than the furniture it was an amazing experience. The island is beautifully decorated with Christmas lights. We have come to Jekyll for about 4 years for Holly Jolly Christmas. Hope to continue as a tradition.

Amazing house!

We were absolutely blown away by this house, for just the two of us it was way more then enough space at a great price! The sun room is my favorite spot and when we wernt out and about that's where we spend most of our time at the house. It was such a short walk to the beach I was able to go out on runs on the beach in the mornings and watch the sunrise! We absolutely loved our stay and will be back with friends or family next time!
