This amazing getaway in the small friendly community of Dutch Creek is wonderful for secluded relaxation for all the family, or group of friends, yet ideally located for easy access to loads of fun for all - including golfing, hot springs, spa, hiking, skiing and beaches. House has its own 5 person hot tub, 3 bedrooms plus additional beds in the lower level sleeping area. Offers wonderful views of the hoodoos and freedom to explore the best of BC. Please note that the nightly rates include all required taxes other than those charged by VRBO.

Well appointed home in beautiful setting

The property was as-advertised. Our group had no surprises in terms of what was on offer though the location was more lovely than expected with a view of the hoodoos! It would be very nice in the summer with the pool and hiking close by. It is a large home that is well-suited for larger groups, our teenagers especially enjoyed the basement with the pool table, tv and games.

Great stay in Dutch Creek

We had a great stay in the cozy Dutch Creek neighbourhood! Stephen was amazing to talk to! The house was just as described, a true cabin feel! Will definitely be back :)

Buddies golf trip

Was perfect for our crew of 7. Lots of beds (although some are pretty firm), lots of entertainment and room for our bocce tourney. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Was a great long weekend.

Ski and sled

Place was clean, hot tub worked good, nice and close to Fairmont ski hill and not too far from some good sledding areas

Nice cozy house that is confortable and still close to town

The house was great for us with lots of space both inside and out. Loved the hot tub, golf course for walking with the kids and dog. Some things needed repair but overall we had a great time and would recommend this house.

Great stay in the mountains

Cozy house situated in the East Kootenay mountains. 3 floors to accomodate you, plenty of games including a pool table, fooseball table, dart board, a hot tub and a BBQ. All the comforts of your own home and a cool outdoors labrynth to explore with your guests. Host was prompt, attentive and friendly at all points of the stay including before and after. I would stay here again!

Great place!

The house was great. There was enough room for our two families and lots of space for the kids to play. The hot tub was the perfect ending to a day of skiing and snowboarding. The house was also "move in" ready. The kitchen had every appliance/tool you could need. The linens and towels were also great.

Great place for a big group

We got everything we needed. The entertainment area was great. The host was responsive. The only thing we weren't able to use was the community pool. Other than that, there was not complaints.

Great for our group of 8 golfers.

Great for our group of 8 golfers. Each had their own bed. Lots of room in the kitchen. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a round of golf. The pool table and foosball table were well used. Stephen was very responsive to questions. All enjoyed the trip.

The Perfect Reunion Spot

My friend and I chose this place for our 10 year Reunion. There were 11 of us with one kid and two small dogs. This was the perfect spot to hang out, hit up Invermere and Banff and spend all our missed time together. The wifi was a bit spotty, so I wouldnt recommend here if you have to work from vacation. The game room and the hot tub were a huge hit and there was plenty of parking for our 3 cars and a van.

Great Family reunion

The property was very clean and worked well for our May long weekend family gathering. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and utensils and was nicely decorated. Furniture was in great shape but I would say bedding is a bit dated. Beds and pillows were comfortable. This is a great home for sharing costs but has no basement bathroom so for max 3 couples would be ideal. Note that Summers may be hot though as there is not central air. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations.

Quiet and relaxing

All communication with property manager was timely and effective. The house was larger than we expected, very comfortable for the eight adults. Lots of towels, bedding, and kitchen had everything we needed. The hot tub was enjoyed by all, great way to enjoy the back yard. Note: the yard is not fenced just in case you are taking pets or small children. Located a short drive from town centre in a nice little subdivision.

Great family space, Beautiful house, lots of room, very clean

A great place for our two families (7 people) to vacation together! (with space leftover) The outdoor BBQ was the only weak spot (it worked, just needed tin foil over the grill, as the finish was coming off) but this really didn't matter in light of all the positives... The kids loved the hot tub, the nearby community pool (a 3-minute walk), riding their bikes around the quiet community. The basement was perfect for the kids to hang out... 4 twin cots meant the cousins could all sleep in the same room, pool and darts in the game room were a hit. I loved having my morning tea on the back deck, with a beautiful view of the surrounding trees and mountains. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Would love to come back!

Perfect for a Family Getaway

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at this property! The house is clean and spacious, perfect for our family that consisted of 6 adults, 2 children, and our dogs. We appreciated information regarding community guidelines, and clear instructions for check-in, hot tub maintenance, and check-out. It's a perfect getaway because you can stay in or around the property and still have plenty to do. But it's also a great location to venture out to the hot springs, Columbia Provincial Park, Invermere or Windermere. We are so grateful that it is a pet-friendly home because our dogs are an important part of our family, and many other properties are strict or have very specific limitations. The green space on the property looks bigger in the pictures, and the property looks more secluded than it actually is. There are some improvements that can be made - cleanliness outside (cans and other items around the hot tub), we found a small piece of glass in the hot tub, and the dishwasher didn't drain properly. But despite these small details, overall it is a great place and we would definitely come back.
