This amazing getaway in the small friendly community of Dutch Creek is wonderful for secluded relaxation for all the family, or group of friends, yet ideally located for easy access to loads of fun for all - including golfing, hot springs, spa, hiking, skiing and beaches. House has its own 5 person hot tub, 3 bedrooms plus additional beds in the lower level sleeping area. Offers wonderful views of the hoodoos and freedom to explore the best of BC. Please note that the nightly rates include all required taxes other than those charged by VRBO.

Great home for families

Large open house with all the amenities you could need. Lots of seating both inside and out with a lovely wrap around verandah that you can use to find or avoid the sun. The pool table and fooz ball were a big hit as well as the hot tub. Host was really quick to answer any texts. The only negative that I can even think of is the house gets quite warm during the day but has ceiling fans throughout and it did cool down significantly at night. Visitors might one to bring along a portable fan. The basement area was always cool. We will definitely rebook this house for a family vacation

Nice cozy house that is confortable and still close to town

The house was great for us with lots of space both inside and out. Loved the hot tub, golf course for walking with the kids and dog. Some things needed repair but overall we had a great time and would recommend this house.

Great stay in the mountains

Cozy house situated in the East Kootenay mountains. 3 floors to accomodate you, plenty of games including a pool table, fooseball table, dart board, a hot tub and a BBQ. All the comforts of your own home and a cool outdoors labrynth to explore with your guests. Host was prompt, attentive and friendly at all points of the stay including before and after. I would stay here again!

Great place!

The house was great. There was enough room for our two families and lots of space for the kids to play. The hot tub was the perfect ending to a day of skiing and snowboarding. The house was also "move in" ready. The kitchen had every appliance/tool you could need. The linens and towels were also great.

The Perfect Reunion Spot

My friend and I chose this place for our 10 year Reunion. There were 11 of us with one kid and two small dogs. This was the perfect spot to hang out, hit up Invermere and Banff and spend all our missed time together. The wifi was a bit spotty, so I wouldnt recommend here if you have to work from vacation. The game room and the hot tub were a huge hit and there was plenty of parking for our 3 cars and a van.

Great Family reunion

The property was very clean and worked well for our May long weekend family gathering. Kitchen was very well stocked with pots/pans/dishes and utensils and was nicely decorated. Furniture was in great shape but I would say bedding is a bit dated. Beds and pillows were comfortable. This is a great home for sharing costs but has no basement bathroom so for max 3 couples would be ideal. Note that Summers may be hot though as there is not central air. Overall we were very happy with the accommodations.

Great family space, Beautiful house, lots of room, very clean

A great place for our two families (7 people) to vacation together! (with space leftover) The outdoor BBQ was the only weak spot (it worked, just needed tin foil over the grill, as the finish was coming off) but this really didn't matter in light of all the positives... The kids loved the hot tub, the nearby community pool (a 3-minute walk), riding their bikes around the quiet community. The basement was perfect for the kids to hang out... 4 twin cots meant the cousins could all sleep in the same room, pool and darts in the game room were a hit. I loved having my morning tea on the back deck, with a beautiful view of the surrounding trees and mountains. Everything we needed in the kitchen. Would love to come back!

The back deck was nice and check-in/out was smooth. The place had some dirty dishes, the lack of AC and poor airflow made it very hot and muggy inside. It was good for what we needed it for, 8 person motorcycle ride home base to explore the area

Great Home for a Family Vacation

We had a very pleasant stay! The owner was quick to respond to any questions, which we really appreciated.Pros:•The home is very spacious, clean, and well maintained—perfect for our multi-family gathering.•We especially liked the new pickleball courts just a short walk away.•The hot tub was a highlight—clean and relaxing.•Plenty of amenities in the house; we had everything we needed for meals and comfort (except a working blender).•Other features like the pool and frisbee golf were available, though we didn’t use them this time. Lots to do in the general Fairmont area for hiking, beach, etc.Cons:•Some highway noise was noticeable.•No air conditioning, though it wasn’t an issue during our cooler July stay.Overall, we’d recommend this property for extended family groups or friends getting together. It worked very well for us during our week stay.

Well appointed home in beautiful setting

The property was as-advertised. Our group had no surprises in terms of what was on offer though the location was more lovely than expected with a view of the hoodoos! It would be very nice in the summer with the pool and hiking close by. It is a large home that is well-suited for larger groups, our teenagers especially enjoyed the basement with the pool table, tv and games.

4 nights in July

Beautiful clean spacious home, appreciate that we could bring our dog. Even after a day of floating on the river or out on the lake our kids lived in the pool in the evening. Enjoyed the little walk to the creek with dog, but bring bug spray! Would definitely stay again.

Buddies golf trip

Was perfect for our crew of 7. Lots of beds (although some are pretty firm), lots of entertainment and room for our bocce tourney. Kitchen exceptionally well equipped. Was a great long weekend.
