Located away from it all, midway between Destin and Panama City at the quiet, western-most edge of Panama City Beach and nestled between the Camp Helen state park, the private beach-home community of Carillon, and Lake Powell, Pinnacle Port is one of the most secluded and quietest ocean-front resorts on the Panhandle. Beautiful views and great location

Our stay was just a few days, we were trying to get to know the area. The location was central and the accommodations were clean and well stocked. The owner was easy to work with and supplied a great deal of information and instructions to enjoy the property and our stay.

Perfect long weekend getaway trip

We came to Michaels place for a 4 day, 3 night trip and could not have been happier. Everything with this place was exactly as listed, or nicer. Right on the beach, quiet and spacious. Will definitely book again when back in the area

Loved our stay here!

Great 2 BR unit with wonderful views all around. Very clean with all the amenities of home. Owner is extremely responsive and goes out of the way to ensure all is great! This is a wonderful place to anchor a vacation at one of the best beaches you can find!!

Perfect Location

We loved our stay at Pinnacle Port. The condo was clean and had everything you could possibly want. The views are fantastic and the beach is just steps away. There are plenty of restaurants nearby along with several grocery stores. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Incredible location for convenience to everything

Great location. We were convenient to everything in Panama City Beach, 30A and not far from Destin. We took advantage of it all! The beach is incredibly close to the resort, so not a long walk with all of your beach "stuff" to set up.

Peace and Quiet

My best friend and I stayed here and it was safe, clean, and well appointed. It has great views and is very close to shops and restaurants. The beach chairs and umbrella were used everyday! A big thanks to Michael for the wildlife viewing tips and making us feel so welcome.

Amazing place for quiet getaway!

I've rented from VRBO for the past 7 years. This experience was the easiest I have had. The owner was very responsive and helpful with any minor questions we had. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone!!! It's decorated really nicely and has great views.

We enjoyed the fact the the condo included very nice beach chairs and umbrellas. Also included a pac n play and booster seat which came in handy with our 1 year old. The pac n play also had a very nice mattress pad.

Fantastic

We had a wonderful time. The property had a wonderful view of the ocean. It was very quiet around the property. The condo was beautiful and the owners was very friendly and helpful. No matter what time I contacted them, they made themselves available. We will definitely stay here again.

The condo was a great place. It is all updated and comfortable. It has a lot of the amenities that you need. It is so bright and cozy. Located on Lake Powell on one side and gulf views from the bedroom on the other side. I would recommend this condo. The owners make sure you have everything you need. They communicate well. Great place to stay!

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST

If a gorgeous white sand beach, crystal clear tropical water, nestled in a beautiful, quiet and peaceful gated community is what you are looking for...this is your next vacation home. The owner is awesome! He truly wants to make your stay the best ever. He is always quick to respond with any question you might have and check-in was the easiest I have ever done. The condo and grounds are immaculate and kid friendly. My family definitely wants to return to Pinnacle Port and book with Michael. A great vacation...I can't say enough!

Enjoyed it

We enjoyed our stay. The number of guests the condo holds (6) is a bit misleading since there are only 2 beds. The fold outs that were available are not actually beds. We purchased an inflatable bed for one of my sons to sleep on. They are 17 and 13 and would prefer not to sleep together and both are way too big for the cushions. The location was great and the view was amazing. We enjoyed it!

Unsafe elevators

The elevators need attention. One totally out of order and another one very shaky. Very unsafe feeling and sound. Other guests saying the same. The condo was great!

Great Unit, very accommodating owner

We were originally scheduled to stay here over Spring Break but were unable due to the Covid related beach closures in the state. The owner did a great job communicating the latest info with us. He was also very accommodating in the situation, offering to move to any other open date or a complete refund. We decided to move it to June. The complex is on an isolated part of the beach within a gated community. This gave us plenty of space on the beach. The unit itself was at the end of a hall which made it one of the quietest condos I've stayed in even with most of the other units were occupied. We hope we get a chance to return in the future.

Awesome Vacation

This is a beautiful condo. The owners have gone to great lengths to update the condo that is 25+ years old. Looks and feels like home. The views from front and back are gorgeous. The owners are very accommodating and will do everything to make sure your stay is great. We had a small issue with the A/C, but Micheal was on it the first day and kept us up to date on the progress. Pinnacle Port is a great resort area. Very quite and family orientated. Our boys and the guys in the family loved to go fishing in the morning down in the bay while the girls went to the beach. We also loved that there wasn't much traffic on our end of Back Beach Road. I recommend going to Publix or Winn-Dixie right outside the condo entrance instead of Wal-mart(there was no food on the shelves and it took us 45 mins. to check out!!!). Great owners and a great condo to enjoy for a week.

Mostly great...Except the bugs

For the most part, this condo was very nice. The space was a lot smaller than it appears online, so pay attention to or ask for info on square footage. There was 5 people with us, so space mattered. The only major issue I had was the giant cockroaches that came out at night. I am not a fan of bugs, and these were the largest I’d ever seen. They are also referred to as palmetto bugs. I visibly saw 3 in our condo in a 5 day timeframe. I was actually amazed that this condo received a 5 star rating. There is no way we were the only guests to encounter these roaches!! Other than that - it would have been satisfactory.

A much needed and socially distanced getaway

Such a perfect place to get away and still remain socially distanced! From booking to check-in, everything went very smoothly. Michael was very attentive to every detail and the condo was perfect for our family of four. My husband and son enjoyed fishing in the lake. My daughter and I enjoyed daily walks to the inlet where the lake meets the gulf. The condo is in the gated community of Carillon Beach, so the location was peaceful and secluded. My husband and I enjoyed waking each day to beautiful views of the gulf from the master bedroom. The pool was great and my children enjoyed a break from the sun in late afternoons with a indoor / outdoor split on the pool. The property did a great job of encouraging social distancing with signs to limit elevators to one person or family group. Most folks adhered to that request. We cooked each evening and found everything we needed in the kitchen. We highly recommend Buddy's Seafood Market, right down the road, for fresh seafood. It was so good and had very reasonable prices. Our family made some wonderful memories during our stay here and we definitely hope to return! Thanks Michael and family!

We've been blessed with the unique opportunity to buy a summer vacation and retirement home and look forward to sharing it with other families who are looking for a great ocean-front vacation stay, at a great resort, at a great value.

We selected Pinnacle Port due to the memorable vacationing experiences we have had here with our family. The property has fantastic ocean and inlet lake-front views. Getting to the beach is a breeze - no gates or board walk mazes, just steps from the elevator. Pinnacle Port is secluded, has a good selection of amenities, and offers a myriad of activities such as fishing, crabbing, kayaking, paddle boarding, or just relaxing on a quiet beach. Pinnacle Port's location is also a 10 or 20-minute scenic drive to Panama City or Destin to spend some time shopping, dining, and enjoying nightlife. It's also a family-oriented resort with affordable rental rates, especially compared with comparable resort condos in other complexes.

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The views of the gulf and coast line from the gulf-front balcony are peerless and, to use a cliché, breathtaking. That we are located on both the ocean and inlet Lake Powell is a bonus because we have a lot more active sea life such as our returning great blue heron, ospreys, pelicans, seagulls, and even fish and crabs swimming back and forth through the inlet that often connects to the ocean. Being able to saunter down to the docks with a simple crab trap to catch dinner, or walk to the beach with a fishing rod for a few pompano is hard to beat. Then add that Pinnacle Port is one of the closest resorts to the water, but at the very, very west end of Panama City Beach or at the very east end of famous Highway 30A and you have the best of both worlds - a quiet, family locale with the ability to jump in the car and take an ocean-front drive to either the vibrant activities at Pier Park's upscale shopping and dining, or the more quiet and quaint beach towns along 30A.
