Located in historic, central Palm Springs. This home has been completely remodeled inside and out, with classic modern Palm Springs style.
Enjoy the spectacular mountain views from your covered deck overlooking the private, heated, salt water pool and spa. The outdoor living area includes covered and open patios, a dining area, propane fire pit and gas barbecue plus a lawn. Everything you need to enjoy the great Palm Springs weather.
A spacious open great room is the heart of the home. The living room features a vaulted ceiling, a gas fireplace, TV with cable DVR & DVD. It opens to the dining area and a chef's kitchen. The dining area opens directly out to the pool and outdoor living area. The custom kitchen is fully stocked and features stainless appliances, walnut cabinets, classic white quartz counters and an island where guests can gather while you cook or just cook up a cocktail.
The main bedroom has a king size bed, private bath and direct access to the back yard. A queen bed in the second bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms in the third share access to the hall bath. There is an inside laundry room.
Rockette Ranch is located in Palm Springs’ historic El Mirador neighborhood. Named for one of the first resorts that made Palm Springs a destination for Hollywood and the world. Today it's a quiet neighborhood escape with easy access to shops, restaurants, museums, night life, and all that Palm Springs has to offer.

Stay with children

We enjoyed our time here, however the was one hiccup. Upon arrival the owner informed us that he would be coming on Sunday to pick up his RV. This was not previously disclosed. We assumed that they would simply pick up the RV and leave. However, they came inside the house twice without ok’ing with us to make sure it was ok. We have 3 small children. They were there for about 30 minutes and it just made us feel very uncomfortable. I would say that other than this, we did enjoy our time. House was clean and had all the necessities.

Incredible atay

The home was exactly as pictures and described, with plenty of room for our family of 5 adults. The pool, hot tub and outdoor area were perfect, complete with pool floats, lots of seating, a barbecue and fire pit. The kitchen was very well-equipped; the beds were comfortable, and the entire home was immaculate. We looked for a cooler one day and joked that we finally found something the house was missing, only to find 2 coolers of different sizes in the garage the next day! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay in Palm Springs.

Perfect in Palm Springs

We are a family of four (two adults, two children) and had a wonderful and memorable stay in Palm Springs. The house is in a great location of Palm Springs, near the downtown restaurants and shopping. The house is a beautiful and has a wonderful layout; it is true representation of the architecture and vibe of Palm Springs. We were very comfortable with the accommodations. The pool and spa were such a relaxing and enjoyable experience for the afternoon and evening; easy to use and enjoy nighttime lighting. There is a nice sitting area next to the pool with sweeping views of the mountains. Further, the inside of the home has a large honeycomb shade, and therefore we were able to view the mountains in the morning and evening while maintaining our privacy. Every day we were well rested to go out and explore Palm Springs and Joshua Tree. Colin allowed us to park our vehicle in the garage where there was plenty of space. We felt very secure throughout our stay. It’s a beautiful and quiet neighborhood and the property is fenced. Colin was a pleasure to work with. We met with him upon check-in, and he was accessible before our stay with any questions and during our stay (though we never needed to contact him). The home had plenty of towels (both bathroom and pool), pool toys, and all the furnishings and household essentials of a typical home. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay. We would and will definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Palm Springs Heaven

We absolutely loved our stay at the Rockette Ranch in Palm Springs. The house was exceptionally clean and located in a quiet neighbourhood, close to everything Palm Springs has to offer. The weather didn't really co-operate but the pool, hot tub and house certainly helped make our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. We will definitely be back 😊

Mid Century Dream

Loved this property. Everything was great. I particularly appreciated the well-stocked kitchen—it had every kind of utensil/pan you could want and also had a supply of basic cooking ingredients (salt/pepper/olive oil etc.). The house was cozy and had an assortment of puzzles and books. It felt like staying at a friend’s house.

Charming vacation home!

This was the perfect home for my 4 girlfriends to enjoy a weekend away. The house is nicely furnished with a great hot tub / pool area. We were able to walk to shops and dinners and the host was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely come back again!

Great home base for exploring the area

The house was a perfect place for us to relax and swim or rest in between sightseeing and exploring Palm Springs, Joshua Tree, the Aerial Tramway and San Jacinto.

Wonderful place

I visited with my Mom and her cousin , both in their 80s. The house was wonderful. It was very clean, accessible and has a beautiful view. We appreciated the hot tub and pool being heated and used it every day. The house is very well equipped with comfortable beds. Colin the owner was very nice to work with and super inviting. We loved our stay and will try to visit again soon

Fabulous Vacation

We are a family of four (2 children aged 15 & 12) that frequent the valley and have rented homes from Palm Springs to La Quinta. This was our first time returning to the area since before the pandemic so we were really looking forward to this vacation. We chose this home after extensive research and we could not have made a better choice. The correspondence with Colin was excellent - his replies were prompt from the inquiry stage and his preparation up to our first day in his home was detailed and extremely professional. The house was perfectly furnished with a retro-Palm Springs theme, very clean and well stocked. It is rare to use a kitchen in a rental home and not wish that you had more choices for more pots, pans or cooking utensils! We used the pool and hot tub at least once per day -we enjoyed that it was no fuss, with the pool heat being put on a timer to turn on and off. The ambience of the backyard was wonderful by day and relaxing at night with the beauty of the pool/hot tub lighting. One of the things we enjoyed the most was the proximity of this house to all of the amenities that downtown Palm Springs had to offer. It was just minutes away from our favorite downtown restaurants (Fisherman’s Market, El Mirasol, Ozzy’s) and close to shopping & the Villagefest Thursday Night Market. Overall, this home played a huge role in an amazing family vacation and we hope to return again in the very near future. Thank you, Colin!

Perfect location to enjoy all that Palm Springs has to offer

This property has an amazing location! Short drive to the airport and downtown Palm Springs. Also within walking distance to downtown and several incredible mid-century modern neighborhoods! We loved the beautiful mountain views from the backyard each day and thoroughly enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Colin was quick to respond to any of our questions. The home was comfortable, well-appointed, and we loved the mid-mod decor! We definitely plan to return to Palm Springs and would love to rent this property again!

Enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The house is in great condition, clean and up to date. The location is convenient to restaurants and other places we wanted to visit but just far enough away to be quiet. The pool area is sunny all day and a porch provides a place in the shade. We highly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful stay!

The home had everything we needed including garage space to park our car. The bedrooms were roomy, with beautiful desert decor throughout the house. Stunning outside view of the mountains. The host anticipated all of our needs by having pool towels and pool floats, along with a BBQ and outdoor dining table. The pool and spa were perfect; the water temperature was warm, the water was sparkling. We’ve been to Palm Springs many times, but this was our first VRBO rental. It won’t be our last as everything went flawlessly. The home’s owner was easy to reach and was extremely friendly and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely stay there again!

We bought this house for the spectacular unobstructed mountain views. Unfortunately the best view was from the garage so we tore down the garage and replaced it with a new pool and spa. We then opened up the living room and dining room to the new south facing yard and mountain views.

Enjoy morning coffee on the pool patio watching Mt San Jacinto change colors as the sun rises, return in the evening with a glass of wine to watch the sunset. As the mountain turns dark the tram station lights up and watch the tram climbing to the top.
