Perfect alternative to expensive hotel room without giving up luxury or location! Beautiful historic building completely renovated with all modern amenities and elevator, the building is completely brand new inside, but with original facade outside on popular Huertas street, extremely close to Prado, Thyssen and Reina Sofia Museums and the Palacio Real (Royal Palace), in historic downtown center of Madrid, the famous Barrio de las Letras.

The apartment has a very comfortable Queen bed ( 160 cm )
and 2 sofa beds in the living area. The bedroom has 3 walls and is not totally private. You can see it in the pictures.

I have lived in Madrid for the past decade, glad to help you choose the best places to visit in and around Madrid. The apartment is right next to Plaza de Santa Ana. Near Puerta del Sol and the Plaza Mayor and the Museums.

The Metro subway station is a few steps away, so that you may easily move around Madrid, as well as a short walk to the Atocha Main Train station.

You will love it!

Gorete was very easy to work with and always responded to our questions. Property was exactly as expected and the location was great. Central to all Madrid had to offer. Great neighborhood restaurants and close to markets.

A great location for exploring Madrid - near by lots of museums and close to Sol station which gets you everywhere. And nicely a bit off the main squares so feels like a neighborhood rather than a tourist spot. Large apartment with lots of amenities — it was very comfortable. Shower is a bit small but was fine. Lots of great restaurants around. We really enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommend!

We loved our stay at this very comfortable and beautiful apartment. The two balconies bring in so much light, and the living room is very relaxing and comfortable. Great building, and most of all, fantastic location. Barrio de Las Letras has a great vibe, wonderful restaurants, and great walking and shopping… all right out the front door. It is also walkable to so many of the main sites to visit in Madrid. Can’t wait to return! Highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay in this clean, comfortable, nicely decorated place. Well-supplied with coffee, tea etc. Excellent location to explore the literary district. Wonderful, responsive host who gave us lots of information on things to do and see in Madrid. Friendly building. We would stay here again.

Spacious and well equipped with fridge/freezer, washer/drier, iron and ironing board, kettle, two sofa’s, everything you would expect. Location brilliant in the heart of the old town and so was central to everything. Madrid can be crazy busy, particularly of a weekend and this area is also the centre for nightlife so if that’s what you’re looking for, you’ll love it. Sadly, for us, those days are behind us.

This apartment was super clean. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we could need. It was very close to walk to lots of sites & restaurants. The host communicated quickly to our messages and provided lots of information about the area, restaurants, museums, etc. There is a nightclub a few doors down that we could hear some noise from, but it did not keep us awake. We loved our stay!

We had a wonderful stay in this flat! The location was perfect for us, great neighborhood with lots of good options for shopping, dining, sight seeing and good proximity to transit. The unit was cozy, comfortable, and clean and it had everything we needed. We look forward to our next trip and will definitely stay again! Gracias

Amazing location. Very small but reasonably comfortable and functional apartment. However, tiny shower with very poor water pressure and inadequate hot water supply. Not even 1 person could have a proper shower without running out of hot water. Fortunately we were there in late Spring and it was hot, but if it had been cold weather this would have been terrible. Also, the bed was uncomfortable. Additionally the host gave us inaccurate information regarding the cost of parking and instead of paying 20 euro per day we had to pay 39 euro per day. Overall, the apartment was fairly good but because of the issues mentioned, we would not stay there again.

Beautiful, well equipped with excellent AC in the terrific location near great local restaurants. Easy walk to Prado and other sites. Owner was extremely helpful and knowledgeable and left many tips for dining etc. a definite strong recommendation.

Excellent apartment, it has everything we needed for our stay. A detailed binder provided gives you all you need regarding the apartment, restaurants and attached in the area.

This apartment was wonderful. The owner and property manager were very conscientious and attentive. The location is a 5-minute walk to the metro (Antón Martín). The neighborhood itself is walkable to a number of other great neighborhoods and attractions. While Calle de las Huertas has a number of restaurants and clubs, the walls of the building were so think that I hardly heard any sound outside when going to sleep. I was on a work trip, but this apartment would also be great for individuals or couples of all ages looking to explore the city.

Location, location, location! This is smack-dab in the middle of the historic Barrio de las Letras (Literature Neighborhood) very romantic, safe and with countless places to eat, people-watch, on a pedestrian street (no traffic).

Qué distingue a esta propiedad

The building was completely gutted a few years ago and they saved the facade and the 100 year old staircase, but everything else is brand-new modern construction and a modern elevator. We have furnished and equipped the apartment with everything we would like to find in a rental, we use VRBO ourselves when we travel so we understand that small details are paramount. Besides, we have lived in Madrid for over a decade, so we are happy to steer you to the best suggestions, whether they are restaurants, site seeing, shopping, trendy restaurants, family places or unique Madrid experiences depending on your date of travel.
