Completely remodeled in 2014, this apartment was impeccably and thoughtfully restored with a great mix of vintage style, modern amenities and all the comforts you would need to visit Oregon Wine Country. Located in historic downtown Newberg away from the busy streets of Hwy 99, the Newberg Downtowner is within walking distance to ten tasting rooms, shopping and a variety of restaurants from world renowned fine dining to rustic casual dining. Oh and we can't forget about the 250+ tasting rooms within 25 miles!

Great location and great communication by the hosts! Not all short term rentals let us check in early, especially when prior guests were checking out the e same day. Would definitely rent here again!!

This is a gem of a property! It is very comfortable and clean. The host communicated well and shared many of the little treasures that are right around the area. We loved that there was a great coffee shop with pastries across the street (Coffee Cat) and a fantastic Mediterranean restaurant behind us (Lemon and Olive).

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in Newberg. Perfect location, apartment was clean, great layout for 4 people, loved having 2 full bathrooms. The living area and kitchen were spacious and had plenty of dishes, glassware.Lots of light throughout the apartment.We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend !

what a cute, wonderful place right in the heart of town. Great suggestions for coffee literally right across the street and the scones were amazing. The character and interior decor are fun, enjoyable, relaxing. I also enjoyed all the thoughtful amenities they provided. I would definitely look for this one again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay in Newberg. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped. The mattresses were excellent. All the amenities were well thought out and just what was needed. Our host was extremely responsive and helpful. I would rent this apartment again in a flash.

Don't let the quirky vintage furnishings fool you, this is a very comfortable, well-appointed little apartment in the heart of Newberg. We really enjoyed the creative, eclectic decor. Many restaurants and coffee shops are within an easy walk, and an amazing number of excellent wineries are located a short drive away. Lori was a very responsive host who went above and beyond to accommodate us and make our stay easy and enjoyable. I want to say, also, that this was our 5th and last VRBO stay on a 2-week road trip, and was by far the cleanest of them all: spotless--and much appreciated!

Great, centrally located place to call home for our wine weekend. The host was very communicative and provided numerous recommendations for local shopping and restaurants - those that we took her up on were FANTASTIC. Fun, well-equipped apartment with beds that were very comfortable. Drinking wine, eating good food, and sleeping well - a perfect weekend!

Kitchen was well stocked. Beds very comfortable with nice bedding. Two nicely appointed bathrooms. Within walking distance of restaurants and coffee places.

Doug and Lori purchased this apartment and the surrounding property in early 2013. The building has now become a neighborhood gem. The first floor was brilliantly restored to house Valley Wine Merchants, a wine mercantile with a wall of wine that will make any wine taster giddy. The owners are excited to offer the second story (The Newberg Downtowner) to travelers from near and far. The Downtowner Newberg is filled with amazing finds from Doug's experience as an auctioneer that he couldn't wait to share.
