At Wine Country Properties, we believe in serving you by being responsive to your needs and by providing the best location and atmosphere to make your vacation memorable.

Located ONE BLOCK off our famous 3rd Street - our Wine Country Farmhouse is perfect for those interested in staying right in the mix of all that is McMinnville.

Within walking distance, you will enjoy 17 wineries & tasting rooms, 34 unique restaurants, 7 tap-rooms & breweries and wander 14 stroll-able blocks. The Evergreen air museum, space museum and water park are less than a mile away as is Linfield College. Also, an easy drive or walk from the house is the McMinnville Aquatic Center, which has adults/kids swimming, spa and a weight room for $4 admission.

This circa 1911 home has been lovingly cared for and features a beautiful farmhouse kitchen, equipped with all the necessities, furnished in the period of the home and roomy for group cooking and gathering.

There are two bathrooms in the home, one upstairs and one downstairs. The downstairs bath has a tub/shower unit and the upstairs bath features a roomy tile shower.

Three luxuriously furnished bedrooms are available (two queens & one king). One bedroom is located downstairs and is furnished with a queen bed. Upstairs bedrooms feature an additional queen and king size bed.

The landscaped back yard is fully fenced and is great for families and pets. There is a large patio area that is partially covered with a gas grill, patio furniture, and outdoor lighting.

Guests will enjoy this professionally decorated home which features an eclectic mix of new polished pieces, local art, and treasured antiques.

The home features Wi-Fi, cable and also has a DVD player. For the convenience of our guests, we also offer the use of a washer/dryer located in the utility room.

We're excited to announce that the Wine Country Farmhouse has received some recent upgrades including; new master bedroom carpet, master bath upgrades, and kitchen upgrades!

Holiday Family Gathering

This was a gathering of grandparents, parents, two young grandchildren, and a little dog. The house accommodated all of us. Location was great for walking downtown, and checking out various holiday events. A positive experience for all involved.

Great Place to Stay

My husband and I along with my brother and sister-in-law had a great stay here while we were enjoying wine tastings in the Willamette Valley. Good location to walk to several great dinner spots. House was clean and had everything we needed for our 4 night stay!

Great Spot Close to Town!

We really enjoyed our stay here. Charming home within walking distance to town…it was great to be able to walk to tasting rooms, restaurants and shops in the cute town of McMinnville. The staff was very helpful when we needed a light bulb replaced and the management company was very responsive from the time we booked the property until the end of our stay.

What a GEM!!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay at the Wine Country Farmhouse for my friend's 50th birthday. The location and house couldn't be better. Just a couple of easy blocks from all of the shops and restaurants in McMinnville. So close to so many fabulous wineries. Oh and there were delicious plums on the tree.

Great location/ lots of amenities

Great location, easy walking distance to 3rd street. Host was very responsive, had a little issue with a tap & had someone over to fix it the next day. The kitchen & the rest of the house had more than ample supplies. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Beautiful Remodel

The cottage was just lovely, Original cabinets in kitchen along with upgrades elsewhere were in keeping with it's country charm. Furnishings were beautiful and beds all excellent. Every detail was seen to. We were in town to celebrate our bride amongst some riding friends with an Equestrian Wine Tour. Fabulous! (google it) Coming home to this very comfortable cottage after a long day on horseback was perfect.

Lovely Farmhouse

We were two couples visiting the Willamette Valley for wine tasting and exploring. The Farmhouse is located within three blocks of downtown McMinnville. We enjoyed the shops and restaurants there. During the day we used the house as a base for wine tasting excursions, whale watching and a visit to the aviation museum. The house is comfortable and met all our needs. Anita was a wonderful host and very responsive to our questions. I would highly recommend the Farmhouse for your visit to McMinnville.

Amazing Stay

The property was perfect for our bachelorette party. The house is in such a great location and is a short walk to downtown. Beds were comfy and we slept great. We had everything we could need and enjoyed the backyard area, which even had heat lamps (thankfully as I was visiting from Phoenix and chilly in the evenings). Communication was great and the whole process was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Perfect home for a McMinnville Vacation

We have traveled to McMinnville a few times to visit our son at Linfield University and this is one of the very best places we have stayed ever. Close-in central location, very dog friendly home, great yard, pleasant walking, lots of room, charming decor, comfortable beds. Highly recommend!

Convenient location in McMinnville

Place is as advertised and easy walk to downtown , clean, and well stocked. Only negatives are some road noise from busy street and a lack of water pressure in downstairs shower. Even had a nice backyard and barbecue for when weather is nicer. Also a plus to have off street parking for two cars. Great restaurants are close as well.

Fun Family Getaway

My family had a great time staying in the Wine Country Farmhouse. It is a short walk to great restaurants and shops. The home was cute, clean and had comfortable beds. We especially enjoyed sitting in the well-kept garden in the morning with our coffee. The home had everything we needed. We will rent again the next time in McMinnville.

Great Stay in Wine Region

Great house in a great location. All the amenities you could want or need. Easy walk to bars and restaurants. Visited 12 wineries during the week and all were within 45 minute drive. Fenced in back yard was perfect for our Frenchies. Even managed to visit the Evergreen Air and Space Museum.

Amazing weekend getaway

We booked this place with some friends to celebrate some birthdays in Oregon wine country. The house was clean, cozy, had an amazing backyard, and the proximity to downtown McMinville was so convenient! We very much enjoyed our stay here.

Disappointing

The road noise at night was terrible, especially in the main floor bedroom due to traffic and dogs barking. Access to the main floor bathroom was a long distance from the bedroom. Positives: the kitchen was well appointed and walking access to restaurants was good.

She had the Wine Country Farmhouse…he had the Walter Link House, which is how Anita and Larry met. Well... it was at the UFO Festival, but that’s another story. The result was another Vacation Rental, and now another one along the way. Both are natives who grew up in the wine industry; as kids, Anita picked grapes during harvest on one of the first vineyards in Dundee, and Larry was raised on a farm in what is now the McMinnville AVA. Like Salmon, they returned after exploring the world to pursue their passion in their hometown: preserving historic properties and sharing Oregon Wine Country with the world. By joining forces—with Anita’s background in real estate and Larry’s background in construction—they have created a solid team in the growing family of Wine Country Properties.

Wine Country Farmhouse located at 930 NE 2nd St. is Anita’s first VRBO. It was chosen for its excellent location (one block off 3rd St.) and turn of the century charm. We believe that if you are going to wine, dine and enjoy the downtown festivals, you should never have to drive. Those are the two things all of our locations have in common, character and walkability. We know you will love this house as much as we do.
