Great location. Our family of five was very comfortable. Only negative was that the amount of dog hair on the furniture was annoying. It was everywhere. In spite of this, we had a great week!

I appreciate Pet friendly places to stay. However, it would have been nice to have known that the train tracks were in the backyard. Also, this unit is like original early 1980s and the furniture was just as old this place needs a total refresh update from the beds to the pillows to the carpet, which was so dirty. The linens were clean, nice towels and washcloths and the sheets were clean. The stairs were not to code because they were so shallow, and we kept catching ourselves kind of a trip hazard.

The communication with the VRBO was very good.The house gave us a base with good location; but, is dated and needs some attention to updating.We totally appreciated the SHARC passes and used them each day complementing bike rides on our own bikes and Village trips. Appreciated the dryer on site.We did not use grill, hot tub, or most of kitchen, esp stove; but, the owners seem to havestocked the drawers nicely. The high daytime degrees were uncomfortable in the house, (82 degrees) esp evenings, even following suggestions on having windows open @ night and shades down in the day.We moved fans to bedrooms for sleeping in addition toopening windows, after needing them in the gathering area and dining area earlier.We enjoyed our time together and the house worked.

Charming house

We loved our stay. The property is comfortable and cozy with great natural light, located in a great spot in Sunriver. Wish we could stay longer!

Best location

This home is central to many of Oregons major attractions. The Sunriver resort is massive but this property is close to the main village and the recreation park.

Perfect home for family relaxation

Spring Break in Sunriver

The home is as pictured. There is a train track that is behind the home that runs several times a day (starts at 7 am). The hot tub was great and the location is close to shopping and a water park.

Hello Nicole, thank you for the review. Red Fir has a unique layout. Sorry about the train tracks near the home. It is rare that the train goes by several times a day. Sorry to hear that it did during your visit. The hot tub in this home is great and is fairly new. Please visit again!

Probably time to install a simple AC unit

A smaller central air unit would make this place top notch. The hot tub was a relaxing experience also.

Vacation Stay

Very nice! I just didn’t like the backhoe and jackhammer starting up next door at 7:00AM while we were there. Otherwise it would of been perfect.

Amazing house, close to SHARC

We had an amazing stay at Red Fir 9. So much space for our family to all spread out. Kitchen is fully equipped with everything you’d need. We stayed for Thanksgiving and brought our own kitchen items we thought we’d need, but the house was well prepared for cooking. House was extremely clean when we arrived. Rental company was fabulous to work with. We ended up adding a day to our stay and they were quick to accommodate. We will definitely stay here again.

Cozy home

It is a bit dark - no overhead lighting because of the home's era and there are no "extras" like bikes or a ping pong table but the location was terrific for us and the home served our needs. We would definitely stay here again.

July 4th Getaway

Would maybe consider adding an air conditioner to your stay if coming mid- or late- summer but with included fans we figured out heat management for the place on second day. Great time overall!

Great house!

I loved this house and the location to the village and the SHARC. Fort Rock park was only a bike ride away that even my 3 year old was able to do. The only thing was the trains during the night that woke us, sometimes 1-2 times a night. I didn't realize it was so close to the train tracks, but that may have been something I overlooked. Overall it was a great house to stay at.

Fun summer trip

The wildfire smoke and hot weather made us wish the home had AC but there were some fans so that helped a bit. Love the deck, games and decor. Location is prime with close walk to SHARC and village.

Nice rental

House could use some more items for cooking, patio door sticks, and cable TV has some network issues and will freeze from time to time. All in all though a comfortable, peaceful stay.

Great Place to stay in Sunriver

The property was clean and well maintained. Any questions or concerns were promptly handled. The only surprise is it's close to some railroad tracks. There weren't too many trains, and few during the night, so it was OK.

Perfect for our family of 6

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great week at this house. It had everything we needed and more. Only downfall is no AC. But we lucked out with weather only in the 70s so it wasn't too bad. Lots of room for everyone to be together or apart. Great deck and we saw deer everyday walking through. Loved that it had the Sharc passes which saved our family of 6 a lot of money. Would definitely stay here again. The Sharc is right across the main road and The Village right now the street. Great Location!

Sun River 2022

We have rented in Sun River for over 30 years.One recommendation I have is that the homes without air conditioning, need to upgrade to air conditioning or provide some type of relief now that summers are much hotter than in the past. There are portable units which could be provided if they don't want to go to the cost of full home systems.

Great House

The house was great! The kitchen was well stocked and had all you would need. It is a split level so you have stairs up and down in the house. The master bed was comfy but the pillows are horrible so bring your own. Only one set of towels per guest allowed in home. We were there 11 days and when we asked for more towels, we were told to wash them in the provided washer and dryer. The construction next door was loud. We were on our honeymoon and woken each week day to an air compressor, their music and banging. We adapted but it would have been much better without that and we wished we would have known so we had the option of choosing a different property. All in all the good out weighed the bad.

Christmas Family Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: First impression was a bit misleading as it is pretty dated inside furniture/decor ect but I tellYou what my family had a blast!!! Well stocked kitchen- no Kuerig though that was disappointing...My family and extended family all have different coffee habits so all brought their own pods. Recommend at least upgrading to that...The master bed was a bit uncomfortable however the size of the bed made it ok.We truly enjoyed the 3 levels great of shenanigans to happen upstairs whileThe little ones took naps down below. Fireplace was my favorite! Fire starter stuff would be helpful but we just brought some 2 hour logs and then added wood for the popCrackle and fire we wanted!
