This is a weekend getaway apartment located just one block from the Lehigh River and fifteen minute walk into historic downtown Jim Thorpe. The apartment is equipped with a queen size bed, a sleeper sofa, gas fireplace (cold months only), basic cable TV, a DVD player, WIFI, new kitchen, rustic living room and new bathroom. There is a shaded brick courtyard in the back to relax outside. The apartment also has original artwork hanging on the walls painted by the owner. Painting reproductions are for sale online and original tee shirts available at the treasure shop located on Broadway two shops up from the Inn at Jim Thorpe.

Check in - Anytime after 3:00pm and Check out - by 11:00am

Great place had everything we needed easy to access parking right in front of the unit always a three minute drive into Jim Thorpe or about an 18 minute walk over the bridge. Steve was great with everything we will be back.

This place is great! It actually exceeded my expectations! Everything was clean, cozy, and comfortable. Our host Steve was very communicative and accommodating…he was in touch multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. We felt the pricing was reasonable as well. We will definitely make a return visit to Jim Thorpe and book with Steve again at The Weekender!

Apartment is in a convenient location in Jim Thorpe. Stephen was available for questions, etc. The apartment was clean, parking always available. I would highly recommend staying there. By the way, the owners art is displayed in the apartment, very nice!

Really nice and friendly host. Checked in with us a couple of times with some great ideas for dinner and entertainment lPlace was clean and very comfortable. Location was conveniently located. Will request to rent again.

Cosy Little place with an older nature feel to it. I must have misunderstood the listing as I thought it was located in town however it is an 18 walk or 2 min car ride. Parking in town is reasonable though. We did not spend much time in the house beyond sleeping and showering.

great location. Place was very clean. Street parking but did not have trouble finding parking. Would definitely stay here again if in the area. Spoke with host in person. Was very friendly and informative. Place was decorated with antiques and nice artwork

Steve was great host and place was perfect for what we needed. We were able to walk to downtown Jim Thorpe -approx 15-20 min walk. We visited a few places near the house within a few blocks - had breakfast at East Mauch Chunk Eatery. Food was delicious and great portions. Also the Union Publick House - great service and welcoming atmosphere
