This is a weekend getaway apartment located just one block from the Lehigh River and fifteen minute walk into historic downtown Jim Thorpe. The apartment is equipped with a queen size bed, a sleeper sofa, gas fireplace (cold months only), basic cable TV, a DVD player, WIFI, new kitchen, rustic living room and new bathroom. There is a shaded brick courtyard in the back to relax outside. The apartment also has original artwork hanging on the walls painted by the owner. Painting reproductions are for sale online and original tee shirts available at the treasure shop located on Broadway two shops up from the Inn at Jim Thorpe.

Check in - Anytime after 3:00pm and Check out - by 11:00am

Amazing stay!

The property is located in a very nice spot. A 5 minutes drive from Main Street or a 15 minute walk. Very clean!

Excellent service and location

Unfortunately my partner and I had to end our trip a bit early due to unforeseen circumstances, but our time at the Weekender was fantastic. Place is nicely located, kept in immaculate shape, and was cozy and pleasantly decorated. Strongly recommend.

First time in Jim Thorpe

Location was ideal for us! Close to local market and downtown. Size of apartment was great for 2 people and had everything we needed. Parking was never an issue, literally right at the front door. Can’t wait to return!

Anniversary trip

A nice location close to historic sites and venues. A nice cozy apartment with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and would like to revisit again.

Cozy Apartment in Jim Thorpe

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving in Jim Thorpe! The apartment was perfect and had everything we needed. It's located just across the river from downtown Jim Thorpe. We were able to park in front of the apartment and walk into town. We enjoyed being able to cook on Thanksgiving night and watch movies by the fire. We're looking forward to visiting again in the spring!

Cozy stay and short walk to downtown

Steve was wonderful and communicative with us throughout the whole stay! The apartment is an easy 15 walk to the historic downtown area with a bunch of shops and restaurants - such an awesome location at an affordable price!

Charming Home in Jim Thorpe

Steve was a fantastic host!! He made sure the house had plenty of essentials, it was very clean and comfortable. It was the perfect place to recharge on a weekend where there were a TON of people in town for the fall foliage. Steve stopped by (we had the front door open with the screen door closed) and checked in on us part of the way through our stay. He was very friendly, gave great tips on things to do and updates on the parking situation since it was a busy weekend with less street parking than normal. Would definitely stay there again if we find ourselves in Jim Thorpe!

Sisters time away

Couldnt have been more pleased on every level. 5 stars to all questions asked. Owner/wife VERY friendly and accessible if needed. Was a GREAT couple of days with my 2 sisters. Jim Thorpe has alot to offer aside from fall leaves train ride

Great "Weekender"

Met Steve on arrival...a great guy. Gave us some preliminary info other than what's on the website. The unit was lovely and had all needed amenities. Short jaunt to town, took the Trolley Tour (very entertaining) and the Train Tour (not as good, but nice indeed). Restaurants are plentiful and very good quality, including the Union Publick House a block or two up the hill...not fancy but reasonable and good food. Will definitely stay here again whenever our next trip is.

Perfect little place with perfect location.

First time using Vrbo, so was a little nervous. However after our experience with Steve all hesitation was rested. Steve was very communicative and made sure our stay was pleasant. Very excited to visit again in the future.

Perfect place for what I needed

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was a good location, quiet, and safe. The surroundings were beautiful! I met a couple friends who lived around there and it was a comfortable place to spend time with them. Steve, the owner was very responsive to any questions I had.

Perfect Stay!

We traveled up to PA for a wedding in Tamaqua and decided to stay in Jim Thorpe because the couple had a shuttle going out of downtown. I chose this place at the last second and it was a great decision! The VRBO was clean and very easy to check in and out of. It was within walking distance from town and was nice because we could park the rental car right out front. Steve was amazing and I would highly recommend this place!

Super clean, comfy, grt pkg out front, awesome host, all amenities of apt. Good a/c..all one needed plus..highly recommend. Quiet as it is across river 5 min. Fm busy downtown.

Overall good experience

Overall, the unit was comfortable, Steve was attentive, efficient and the location was convenient. It was relatively clean, however, there was a lot of dust & cobwebs under furniture, cabinets and in the corners of the rooms. There were also crumbs under the cushions of the sofas. The kitchen was stocked with pots, pans, dishes and a coffee pot. The bed was comfortable. Overall though, we had an excellent experience and would highly recommend this unit.

Lovely weekender.

Property was as expected as we have stayed at Steve's other property on Broadway. Parking was easy but walk to Broadway was not possible for my 85 year old husband. Preferred the Broadway location as it suited our needs more.

A Week in Jim Thorpe

We stayed a week in the Weekender and it was great! Place was just as described and very comfortable for the two of us and our 12 month old. The air kept us plenty cool even though it was really hot that week! The kitchen was well equipped, the location was great- just a 15 min walk to the historic area and super close to the market, etc. There’s a great little pub basically across the street too! Steve is a great host and super attentive. Wonderful place and would stay again.
