This is a weekend getaway apartment located just one block from the Lehigh River and fifteen minute walk into historic downtown Jim Thorpe. The apartment is equipped with a queen size bed, a sleeper sofa, gas fireplace (cold months only), basic cable TV, a DVD player, WIFI, new kitchen, rustic living room and new bathroom. There is a shaded brick courtyard in the back to relax outside. The apartment also has original artwork hanging on the walls painted by the owner. Painting reproductions are for sale online and original tee shirts available at the treasure shop located on Broadway two shops up from the Inn at Jim Thorpe.

Check in - Anytime after 3:00pm and Check out - by 11:00am

A beautiful hideaway for a few days. Jim Thorpe is surrounded by visitor friendly eateries and shops, historic locations, splendid scenery and outdoor activities to suit all ages. We enjoyed revisiting this delightful location, and equally enjoyed just chilling at home in the Weekender. It was comfortable, quiet and convenient.

Fun weekend getaway

Property was clean and decorated cute. Owner Steve was very nice and checked in to make sure everything was ok. Not much by the property but about 10 minute walk across bridge to downtown Jim Thorpe to restaurants, shops and the train. Close to lake, bike and hiking trails. Very enjoyable stay

Really cute apartment. It was easy to find street parking right in front of it. It's about a mile walk into the downtown area. Easy drive to Lehigh Gorge State Park. There is a restaurant and a brewery about 0.2 miles up the hill. The owner is friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely quaint property

We really enjoyed this quaint little spot. It's close enough to the town to easily pop over but far enough away to be very quiet and calm. The hosts were so kind and welcoming- we would dediniteky go back.

Nice apartment

Very clean and in a nice neighborhood. It's more like a 20-30 minute walk into town. (The listing said 10 minutes). We would definitely stay there again though.

Birthday weekend

This is a cute and clean place to stay. It's close to Jim Thorpe and Steve the host is a pleasure to speak to. My friend and I enjoyed our stay. Will definately stay again in the future.

The property is located in a very nice spot. A 5 minutes drive from Main Street or a 15 minute walk. Very clean!

Anniversary trip

A nice location close to historic sites and venues. A nice cozy apartment with everything you need. We enjoyed our stay and would like to revisit again.

Excellent service and location

Unfortunately my partner and I had to end our trip a bit early due to unforeseen circumstances, but our time at the Weekender was fantastic. Place is nicely located, kept in immaculate shape, and was cozy and pleasantly decorated. Strongly recommend.

Cozy stay and short walk to downtown

Steve was wonderful and communicative with us throughout the whole stay! The apartment is an easy 15 walk to the historic downtown area with a bunch of shops and restaurants - such an awesome location at an affordable price!

Great little Getaway!

Quiet street & just a short walk into historic Jim Thorpe. Great communication with host & apartment looked just as pictured. Will stay here again when in the area.
