This home features off street parking, fast WiFi, cable, video surveillance, central heating and cooling, beautiful blue stone patio with gas lighting, modern décor, and a new washer & dryer for 3+ night stays. There is also indoor storage for your outdoor adventure gear! You will not be disappointed

Our Blueberry guest house on High street is located in the quiet section of Historic Jim Thorpe. It is off of the beaten path, and away from the crowded sidewalks on Broadway... This street is truly one of the best kept secrets in town!
Our home is over 200 years old and was originally built and owned by the Leigh Coal and Navigation company as a housing unit for the anthracite coal miners. There were actually as many as 13 people living in this home at one time!
Seeing the potential that this house and location had to offer (after-all, this is where we fell in love with Jim Thorpe), we enthusiastically set out to make one of the most unique and whimsical homes in town.
No detail has been overlooked... We want your stay here to be perfect, in every way!!

Loved it

Such a cozy property. Everything is brand new. Location is great. Parking is everything in Jim Thorpe and this place has its own spot. This will be our go to residence every time we come to town!

Great house in a great location

We stayed here a few years ago with friends, and the 4 of us returned this year together. We love the location and walking distance to town. The only hang up is parking. There was confusion as to whether we needed a permit to park an extra vehicle in a near by lot because the sign said it was needed, but house owner said it was not. We were able to use the spot in the near by lot without penalty. But that was the only hang up. Otherwise, we had everything that we needed for a great weekend.

New Year’s Getaway

This property is absolutely charming! We stayed for 3 nights and had a terrific time. The house is a short walk from all the shops, restaurants and the train station. It also has a beautiful bird’s eye view of downtown. 10/10

Very Comfortable Base for Exploring the Town and Surrounding Areas

We stayed at Blueberry House for 6 days in August. The house was very clean and well equipped. Our host, Jason, was very quick to answer our questions. All in all, it was a great experience and we would highly recommend it!

A wonderful stay in Jim Thrope

The propery was spotless and beautifully decorated. The beds were comfortable. My daughters and i enjoyed exploring Jim Thrope during the day and then enjoyed our evening doing puzzles and playing cards. We loved the accommodations so much we are planning to stay there for Thanksgiving.

Just as advertised! And better!

Simply put, it was outstanding! The location was perfect. Absolutely no traffic on High Street. A 5-minute walk to Broadway. And even less to a great little restaurant (Stone Row Pub). White water rafting, great 25-mile bike outing on the Lehigh Gorge Trail, butterflies and a train ride. Perfect weather and a great three days in Jim Thorpe. Jason’s place is the place to stay!

Quaint Getaway

This was my first time to Jim Thorpe and it did not disappoint! The place was very close to all the stores and restaurants which was great since parking is minimal around town. We had our parking spot right on the property so we left our car there for the weekend. If you are walking to and from the town you have to tackle a hill but honestly, it was a great workout. The entire town is very hilly so it was to be expected. The house was super clean and the beds were comfortable. I was impressed by the attention to detail they put in to ensure my stay was smooth. If I were to go back I would stay here again.

The perfect place to stay in Jim Thorpe!

We absolutely loved this property. The location is fantastic- a short (but steep) walk to town, and has its own parking space so you don't have to worry about parking. The home itself is so beautiful- rustic and cozy, but also stylish, modern, and clean. Decor was super cool! We slept in the back bedroom and that bed was so comfortable. Loved the skylights. Jason was very easy to communicate with.

Jim Thorpe Historical Home

Everything about this property provided for a wonderful stay in historic Jim Thorpe. The vibe is contemporary with beautiful stained glass windows, but the construction also pays homage to the home's history. The seating areas and beds were comfy, and the supplies in the kitchen and bathroom were just right for the 4 of us. The house is situated on a quiet street overlooking historic Jim Thorpe with outdoor seating, providing wonderful views of the town and the surrounding mountains. The host was very responsive throughout the booking process and accommodated our parking which can be scarce at certain times of the day. We embraced the rigorous walks from the home to downtown and back again, and found a variety of historic sights as well as restaurants to enhance our visit. We would love to return to the area and hope that this property would be available in the future.

Great Stay in Jim Thorpe

We stayed the weekend at an exceptional house in Jim Thorpe. It was very clean and had all the comforts of home. We had a cozy house to come home to during Winterfest. The owners were easy to communicate with, and the house is even more beautiful in person then in the photos.

Great place to relax. Artfully decorated.

The owners were gaving some issues with the VRBO site at first but we were abke to get through to them by phone. They couldnt have done any better in providing all the essentials - many nice touches and thouggtfulness. Beds were comfortable.

Mid week get away.

Stayed Wednesday to Saturday morning. The house is on a quiet street in Jim Thorpe that is not travelled much. It’s a short walk down town to the shops and restaurants. The house outside of the house was decorated for Halloween and looked great. The inside was clean, quiet, and peaceful. While it rained Saturday morning before leaving hearing the rain on the sky lights in the bedroom was relaxing. A great place to stay!

Location, Ambience and thoughtful hosts

Great location off the beaten path of exciting main street. Home comes with thoughtful necessities, warm industrial feel. Tons of quaint shops and small town eateries, hiking, biking trails, train and trolley rides to keep you entertained.
