Very well located and pet friendly. Great walks from the doorstep. We have a long wheeled van but this was still able to easily park in the space opposite the front door. Kitchen had everything you would expect to find in your own kitchen.

We had a lovely stay at this characterful cottage in a beautiful spot near the River Dart. It is a great location being able to walk out and enjoy the local scenery without having to drive anywhere. I walked our dog along the various village trails, up to the church with the old Yew Tree, through the Orchard in the Village, and tide permitting, along the banks of the river.There are a couple of local pubs, and a very popular River Cafe, close to which is an area where many families/children enjoy crabbing. There is definitely a nice buzzy atmosphere (in summer at least). All this in short walking distance. We did eat in quite a lot, and were happy to purchase local produce from the handy village store. We had very good communication with the owner and welcomed her tips on walks and local amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Mill House is a comfortable, well equipped house in a very beautiful location close to the dam and millpool in a delightful village.The whole family loved being there and we had a wonderful holiday.Parking is convenient and easy and the village shop is an easy walk away.

We loved the location of the Mill House. It is situated right across from the River Dart with beautiful views from every window. The house was comfortable and convenient. It was easy to prepare our own meals which we enjoyed outside on the back patio with the excellent weather. Our grandson enjoyed the books and games made available in the house. We walked every evening into the village to a cute playground next to a churchyard with an ancient yew tree. We also sampled both pubs and enjoyed a dinner at the River Shack restaurant to close to the house. Extra parking for our visitors was available at the little park across the way. Only suggestions: A few more towels, an ironing board, and extra toilet paper and trash bags, which we had to purchase. Would definitely stay at this lovely, historic and charming property again. Good value. Thank you!

Hi, Many thanks for your kind words. We do actually have an ironing board, it is in the little utility room next to the washing machine. We will endeavour to have more bin liners etc in the future. All the best.

The house was warm, welcoming and designed brilliantly for family living. The kitchen was very well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We would definitely return.

Yet another relaxing stay with family and friends. Property is ideally located for us, as its is in a quite location but close to lots of interesting things to see and do.

Super cottage in beautiful location

Loved our stay at Mill House and so lucky to have great weather to take advantage of the fantastic waterside location with kayaking, paddle boarding on the doorstep.

A very relaxing family break that did all of us the world of good.

We all enjoyed the peace and quiet and felt fully relaxed after our weeks stay. We enjoyed it so much we are booked in again next year.

Perfect Holiday

Highly recommend this Property, the best way i can describe it is that it's a home from home. Very comfortable, clean property, perfect location and great for families. We have booked to stay again in the summer, cannot wait 😊

Perfect spot

The cottage was spacious and clean with a good kitchen. Location was wonderful, across the way from the Mill Pool and very quick walk to the village shop and two great pubs

Lovely cottage in a beautiful location

Cottage was nicely appointed , clean and comfortable but the major selling point is it's location. Stoke Gabriel is a beautiful hidden gem, providing the perfect quiet village for a traditional holiday.

A hidden gem

Delightful, relaxing, holiday location, with easy access and so many bad weather entertainment options that some were only noticed while packing to leave !Fortunately we had great weather throughout our stay

Lovely cottage surprisingly spacious and well laid out with everything you could need for time away from home. Stoke Gabriel is a lovely location with lots of great walks in the door step.

Annual get away

The property was well presented and inviting. We enjoyed the relaxing quiet atmosphere and its location enables you to either relax next to Mill Pond or travel further afield to one of the local seaside towns.
