It is a great property at the very heart of Shaldon with gorgeous views too. A place to relax and enjoy the beaches, cafes, pubs and local shops.

Oyster Cottage was a great central place to stay in Shaldon. The facilities were great and beds comfortable. Check in was easy and Carole was very informative. We’ve stayed in a lot of places in Shaldon and would stay here again.

Our second stay, the cottage is ideally situated near amenities and very much in the heart of the village, with lovely views. The property is bright and airy and is very well equipped. Very homely!

We had a lovely half term family break at this wonderful well kept property. The location was superb for the beach, attractions and restaurants.Thankfully we managed to park in the spaces right next to the property( and didn’t move it for our entire stay)although it appears this is only possible out of season.I would highly recommend Oyster Cottage to anyone looking for a Devon break.

One of the great things about Oyster Cottage is its perfect location. You can walk to the shops, the beach, the pubs and cafes and the ferry. It’s also right on the South West Coastal path if you want to hike further afield and admire some amazing views!

We had a wonderful stay. The bright, airy and well equipped cottage is situated at the heart of Shaldon, close to the green, the beach and local shops.Lovely views of the bowling green and glimpses of the sea.

Yes Shaldon is a beautiful village, which makes it popular. There is a huge car park at The Ness which helps with parking. Always spaces available there.

The location is perfectly central in Shaldon, on The Green and just 2 minutes walk to the beach and close to all the shops, cafes, restaurants and lovely pubs. It’s very easy to walk everywhere.

I love to relax in Oyster Cottage. The views are gorgeous from the lounge, dining area and kitchen. And as you can easily walk to the beach, shops and cafes there is no stress. It’s a real break.

Not sure exactly what you mean there are no trees close. The windows and balconies are cleaned regularly but we are close to the sea - hence the great views.

Our 3rd visit to Oyster Cottage, this time for a full week. As before, excellent location and all that we would want for a stay. We particularly like the layout of the cottage with the living area being on the 1st floor with views over the green and out across to Teignmouth.

We love to welcome returning guests to Oyster Cottage. The views are quite special. One way looks over the green, the bowling green and the fields beyond and from the lounge window you have a wonderful view of the River Teign estuary. It’s interesting to watch the boats coming amd going.

Perfect little cottage

Perfect location right by the sea. The property was clean and well looked after. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for a family.

Lovely property for a short getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay in Shaldon, the property is well presented and located. Parking was easy enough near to the cottage, though we stayed slighty out of season. Communications with the owner were very good throughout.

A lovely sunny week in June

A wonderful cottage that offers everything you would require for a fabulous holiday. Our first family holiday as a three and it could not have been better. The location is brilliant with all the amenities you require in a short distance with great eateries near by to ensure you can fully relax and leave the hum drum of normal life behind.

What a brilliant way to describe the cottage and its location. It is perfect for exploring the village and the local area. Then once back at the cottage after a day out all amenities are close at hand and the cottage is well equipped to make sure your stay is as relaxing as possible.

Perfect location for the village/beach life and during the regatta. Things happening on the green were delightful and more accessible due to the cottage. Property provided all that’s needed from a base. Host communication perfect

The cottage is certainly a perfect location to access the village amenities and the beach. The south west coast path runs through the village too.

Location brilliant and living area upstairs great. Bedrooms good tooThe only negative is that the bathroom smelled a bit but drainage isn’t great in Shaldon. Would stop there again though

We love the location on the green so we can walk everywhere. The reverse level means we get superb views from the lounge, kitchen and dining area. Internal bathrooms need ventilation and we have a good extractor fan and a dehumidifier if needed which means no issues normally.
