IL NIDO* is a delightful apartment (size 60 sq. meters) completely and well restored according Tuscan style, located in the historical charming medieval hamlet of Gavorrano at High Maremma in Tuscany (South-west). Gavorrano is placed on the top of a hill (altitude of 273 m), few kilometers far from the Follonica gulf seaside and the beautiful beaches of Punta Ala and Castiglione della Pescaia.
The place is very quiet and panoramic with a great view over the countryside to the sea where the sun set in a gorgeous sight.
The landscape is the typical Tuscan one with vine-yards, olive grove, rows of cypresses and Mediterranean flora with its beautiful colors and scents.
The apartment, recently fully restored, is really picturesque with attractive wooden- beam ceiling and antique terracotta floor maintaining the original features and the charm of the period when it was built. It is furnished in antiques. It is placed at the ground floor of a characteristic two-storied building in a typical little street, with an independent entrance. It is composed by a small kitchen, a living-room with an ancient delightful fireplace and a double bed divan (160x190 cm), one bedroom with a double bed (160x190 cm) and a bath with shower box (no bidet).
Into the house you will find information for your sightseeing.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
The apartment is ideal for a couple or for a family with one child.

Being the apartment located in a small historic village, the free parking is within 100-200 meters.
I don't live in Gavorrano, so you will have to do a SELF CHECK-IN.
However in the apartment you will find all the necessary details for a pleasant stay. A friend of ours who lives nearby is available for any kind of problem. I will always be reachable by email, phone or WhatsApp and I will do my best to answer you as quickly as possible.

Por qué eligió esta propiedad
Car is necessary even if Gavorrano is served by public buses.
in this part of Tuscany you can easy drive as there is a few trafic and wide roads. Anyway Gavorrano is served by local buses to reach the main local towns and villages. A good advice for British people, used to opposite drive, is to rent a car for reaching the sea, Follonica or Grosseto and from there get bus or train to reach Florence, Siena, Rome, Pisa.

The apartment is very fresh in summer time.
There is not a garden or terrace but you can seat out the apartment in the picturesque street where no cars are allowed. There is a bench and pots with plants just outside the apartment and the little street is very quiet and relaxing.
Quality of life in Gavorrano has been preserved and remained as it was many years ago when people were sitting outside in the summer evening to chat.
Gavorrano is still remained a pristine village where you see the real life than once.
Anyway in the village you have all the amenities that makes comfortable your holiday.
