Incredible place to stay!!!!!!!!!!

Greatly exceeded our expectations! The house, the view, the location, and the communication with the owner were all excellent. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!

Great place! Wish we stayed longer.

Great place to stay, Francis and her son did a great job helping us with directions when we got a bit stuck. We really should have stayed longer. Well situated for exploring, and the local bar was really welcoming and we were able to enjoy a trad music group and some friendly patrons.

Family togetherness

Our 2nd visit. Wonderful space for multi generational family. Quiet location but loads of drives to incredible beaches. Will be back when we can get a bookings slot.

Great 4 bedrooms home

Get clear directions to the house but once there it's more than worth the drive. Beautiful home with all the amenities.

Paradise in Gortahork

Spectacular house with stunning view of the bay. House is spotless and looks brand new. Extremely comfortable with all the amenities. We loved staying there and wished we could stay longer.

Great Location And Beautiful Views in Co. Donegal

This house was in excellent condition, the kitchen was well stocked, and the house provided space for the five of us to be together as a group but also have room to be alone when wanting some personal space. Whether working as a group preparing a meal, sitting outside with the fresh air and a fantastic view of the water, or heading to our destinations - the national park, Tory Island, Dunfanaghy, etc. We could not have asked for better accommodations or location.

First trip to Ireland

We stayed in several accommodations during our trip, and this one was our favorite. The home and the property were quite lovely. We were a group of 6 (3 kids; 8,10,12) and the kids loved playing in the grass. The adults enjoyed the views. We saw rainbows in the bay every morning. The house was perfect! Clean, comfortable, and a great location. We were sad to leave this house.

Big enough for the whole family

This was a beautiful house with a lot of space. On a private lane overlooking a bay. Extremely clean and the beds we used in the 2 en-suite rooms were comfy. Loved having morning coffee looking out at the bay. The gas stove was a pleasure to cook on. I did struggle a bit with how to determine the amount needed to top up the electric. But the owners helped with that. Being from the US it isn’t something I was familiar with. There’s a nice little Spar nearby for gas and food. Had a wonderful stay.

Wonderful Stay!

We had an amazing stay in Donegal! We were a family of 6 with 4 adults, 1 teen and 1 younger child and the house was very spacious. The views from the front lawn during sunsets were spectacular! We were visiting our family in Falcarragh but also did some local activities including a morning kayak with Kitty’s Kayaks and a hike up to the top of Mt. Errigal. The house was perfect for us as it was close to our family in Falcarragh and had everything we needed for our stay. We hope to return to visit again soon and would definitely stay here again! Thank you for sharing your home with our family!

Early august 6 night stay

We’ve been going to Donegal for past 8 years to downing..,Atlantic drive .. and decided on change of location This property proved to be far superior in size .. cost & location .. various beaches nearby & very private location

Great house but some disappointing issues

House and contents in general were absolutely fantastic and views were superb. Lots of positives but negatives would include almost inaccessible driveway and grass too long for kids to play on. Biggest disappointment was the fact that the heating and hot water did not work for the first 24hrs and, although the owners were fairly quick to remedy the problem, there was not one apology given despite the fact that I was asked to go the boiler and fix it myself and the phone numbers provided at the location for the local assistance were unobtainable.

Wonderful property

We had a fantastic stay at Aodhan’s family property - it was perfect for us and had everything we needed. Spotless clean and lots of places to relax and chill out.

Excellent property on Wild Atlantic Way

Property is in mint condition with all the facilities you require. Stunning views over to Tory Island. Hosts very helpful. Look forward to returning.

Magnifiques vacances à Gortahnork

La maison independante est spacieuse, confortable, parfaitement équipée et d'une propreté irreprochable (avec au rez de chaussée 3 salons pour ceux qui veulent s'isoler). La propriété est isolée, calme, en hauteur et domine une magnifique baie avec un très beau panorama. On trouve dans les deux villages à toute proximité des petits supermarchés avec tout ce dont on a besoin. Elle est idealement placée, pour visiter la region du Donegal, qu'il s'agisse de la superbe côte ou du parc national de Glenveagh et ses paysages epoustouflants.Des propriétaires très sympathiques , Francis et Siobhan . qui nous ont accueillis et qui sont tres facilement contactables en cas de besoin. Nous recommandons vivement cette propriété.

Country getaway.

Beautiful, quiet location. Easy check in and out. This being our first trip to Ireland we didn’t understand the electric meter top up system but Francis graciously offers to take the charges out of your deposit.

An Irish Gem

My three friends and I spent at week exploring Co. Donegal and Northern Ireland from this lovely home. Upon our arrival, Francis greeted us and introduced us to the house and its amenities. It has all the modern touches a traveler could want, plus it is comfortable and its location can’t be beat. The sea views were gorgeous: every night the sunset was breathtakingly beautiful. Throughout the week, if we had a question or concern, Francis was quick to reply. It was a pleasure renting this home, and we would recommend this property to others seeking a relaxing, modern holiday home.

An outstanding house in the perfect place!

We loved the week we spent in Gortahork. The house has everything you may wish for, even more. It's spacious and extremely comfortable with 3 different rooms to choose from when you want to watch TV, read or just relax. There is absolutely everything you need in the kitchen, just like at home. The deco is first class and the view stunningly beautiful as the house is overlooking the sea. The location is perfect as well, within walking distance of the Falcarragh beach and just a 10 minute walk from the local shop which is extremely well stocked and where you can find delicious fresh bakery every day. There are no close neighbours so it's absolute silence all the time. The owners are very nice and helpful and they were there to welcome us and explain everything, which was greatly appreciated It was for the 4 of us the perfect place for the perfect holiday. Many thanks again to Siobbhan and Francis.

Great holiday home, fantastic view!

While the kitchen lacked bowls and a few things like that, the house was clean, new/well-maintained, and very comfortable for a larger group. It’s good to have a car, but the walk to town is easy and the house is well located for walks to the beach etc. North Americans should be aware of the pay as you go electricity model.

Das Haus war sehr sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und hatte einen wunderbaren Blick auf Meer und irische Küste. Kleine Verständnisprobleme mit der Heizungssteuerung wurden schnell gelöst. Jederzeit wieder, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt.
