Alan was a great host, providing lots of information before travel and checking in on us via WhatsApp when we arrived to make sure everything was ok. One issue was dealt with very quickly by Ashley, the local contact. The property had everything we needed for a lovely family holiday. The resort was brilliant and the indoor pool was a great facility for this time of year. We will certainly think about returning

We spent a wonderful three weeks at Alan’s Villa. The Villa itself is lovely and has everything you need. Alan is the perfect host. Any questions we had were answered immediately and instructions were in great detail. Alan’s assistant Ashley is amazing. When there was anything we weren’t sure of she was right there to show us.Everything about the Vime Resort is very accurately described on the VRBO site. I must mention the restaurant on site which is amazing. We ate there at least eight times and everyone loved what they ordered. The staff also were delightful.We would certainly be happy to return.

Family Summer Holiday

Beautiful surroundings and lovely apartment. Loved the modern feel of it and the coffee machine was a treat each morning. The pool was first class and never had a problem getting sunbeds so long as you were down for 10.30. Not everyone stays at the pool all day so generally beds become available before lunch. Didn’t eat at the restaurant but plenty people were and it looked plentiful and freshly cooked. Lots of restaurants locally - Fimbads was our fav...and the bus is 1.60 euro into Marbella - m220 at the stop beside the supermarket. Peaceful holiday, some amazing restaurants and lovely location for exploring the area if you hire a car.

A Hidden Gem

We have been visiting this area over many years and have stayed in countless villas and apartments. This property is without doubt of the very highest order. We found the property easily and the instructions to enter the villa very strait forward even allowing for the fact that we arrived late at night The villa was presented exceptionally well and was perfect in every way. It is situated very close to all the facilities i.e. the pools, the cafe, the reception etc. It is without doubt one the best positioned properties on the complex. We had contact with Alan the owner who was very helpful and easily contactable. We did not find anything at all that wasn't just right, it was perfect in every way. Just can't wait to return and would like to think we shall stay many more times David & Dezrine

Description of property

We stayed here in February 2025 and the first disappointment was that the restaurant was closed and this was not notified to us and there is only one other restaurant in walking distance.The property and site are very nice and the host Alan and the cleaner Ashley were very helpful. Unfortunately the site is situated the wrong side of the motorway making it difficult to access the beach.The property does not appear to have been recently renovated as stated in the information. The poolside patio is very dated and needs renovation. The kitchen is short of many basic cooking utensils which make cooking a meal very difficult.Although there is justified criticism here, it is correct also to say that if you are ok with the issues shown then this a very nice place to stay and if the improvements needed were to be made this would be a great place to stay but you do need a car!

Très bon séjour. Location très proche de la plage de Capobino (je recommande le restaurant Portofino) et des centres commerciaux Miramar et La Canada. Alan a su répondre à toutes nos demandes avec rapidité et gentillesse. Je recommande vivement cette location.

Perfect Location

The condo was clean, sunny and extremely comfortable. The grounds around the condo were beautifully maintained . The location was great, a short walk to the neighbourhood store or easy access by car to head out and explore . After a day spent out and about we found it very relaxing to be able to sit and watch the tv with access to a great variety of stations. Alan was an amazing host prompt to answer all our questions. As we were in Spain during the Covid-19 pandemic it was very reassuring to have Alan keep us informed about the ever changing circumstances. I would highly recommend this condo and will be sure to return if I vacation in the Marbella area again.

Short half term break

I stayed here with my husband and 12 year old daughter for 4 nights, it was perfect for us. The villa had everything we needed, my daughter was especially pleased that there was a fire stick provided! We have previously stayed in Elvira which was very close to this villa. Would definitely be staying again and would recommend it

2nd time visiting and better than ever!

Having previously stayed here in 2017 (see review Aug17) we have just returned from another 2 week stay. Alan, as always, is the perfect host. Great communication and is always on hand to answer any questions. The house is in great condition still and the new upgrades make the stay even more comfortable. The extra chairs on the roof terrace are a great addition , especially as the sun goes down with a few drinks. The addition of the super fast internet with IPTV is a real bonus, especially for those of us who have to unfortunately carry on with work whilst away and the TV is great, especially if you want to keep up with the sport back home. The complex has been updated since our last stay and is looking very smart, clean and tidy and still lots of loungers around the pool. We would highly recommend this property and the area it is in, nice and quiet but still very easy to get everywhere. The house, in our opinion, is probably in the best position on the whole complex. We very much look forward to returning again soon. Jason and Elaine

Great house, great location

Just back from a 2 week stay. The accommodation was perfect in every way. The choice of sun terraces allowed us to enjoy sun or shade at anytime of the day. The complex, which is immaculate, had all amenities that you would wish for including a reasonably priced restaurant with decent food. The pools were lovely with plenty of sunbeds. We chose not to hire a car and had no problems as there is a supermarket a 2 minute walk away and regular buses or affordable taxis should you wish to explore surrounding areas. I would highly recommend a stay here and thanks to Alan who is an excellent and very attentive host.

Magic place for girls weekend

Had a great time at Alan's place , villa was exceptionally clean and well furnished, poolside also imaculate , hope to return again. Alan was been an excellent host always been happy to help with all my queries so thank you.

Lovely apartment. Great communication with owners.

Lovely townhouse. Well maintained. Good facilities on site which was a bonus! We stayed in apartment with two adults and two teenage girls. Walking distance to local supermarket. We did not hire a car, which turned out to be a bonus as we walked everywhere and caught local buses and the train to Malaga, so got to know the area fairly well. Alan was a great host. Excellent communication. Always reaponded to messages. Very helpful if we had any issues with reception, pool etc. Highly recommend staying here.

Lovely Villa, great location.

The Villa is close to great amenities, indoor and outdoor pools literally on the doorstep. Everything is provided for a great stay and there are three lovely outside areas one being a great roof terrace.

Great Villa

We had an excellent stay at the villa which is exactly as described. The complex was very quiet but with everything you need close by. The villa was beautiful and clean, and has everything you could need! Alan was very helpful when booking and through out the holiday. Would definitely return.

Very bright and modern villa in lovely complex.

Lovely villa in very nice complex. Very light and bright modern decoration, extremely clean and lots outside space. Well equiped and great location just next to the main pool and restaurant. Would highly recommend and Alan was very helpful and prompt with customer service.

Great stay!

This is a great villa which is exactly as described, Alan was very helpful both before and during our stay answering any questions that we had. The complex is lovely and was very quiet while we were there even though it was over the Easter weekend. It is a short stroll to the beach and restaurants and there is plenty to do locally. As mentioned before, the downstairs bedroom isn't massive however our daughter found it to be fine and she enjoyed having her own space and bathroom. We would love to return someday.

Schönes Reiheneckhaus in gepflegter Anlage.

Schönes Reiheneckhaus mit Sonnenterasse in der ersten Etage. Der Gemeinschaftspool ist sauber und eine gepflegt. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man von zu Haus kennt. Ein beheizter Innenpool mit zwei kleinen Saunen steht ebenfalls zur Verfügung. Ein Supermarkt der 24 Stunde geöffnet hat ist in 5 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Also, alles bestens kann man nur empfehlen.

As good as expected

Without wanting to repeat all the positive things said in other reviews, this is indeed a lovely end of terrace house, in the best position on the resort. Modern décor and ideal furnishings inside and out ( on the 3 terraces) make it a very convenient home. If you choose to self-cater to a lesser degree, there is the option to use the on-site restaurant or bar cafeteria, or you're only a short drive within 5-10 minutes to a large selection of excellent restaurants, or a 30 minute walk to beach restaurants and bars. The resort is immaculately kept, even off-season, and you have access to the resort Reception for any information, queries or problems. Ideally located for access to the A7 coast road east or west, ( also a main bus route) , for access to sightseeing the area; Marbella Old-town is still lovely, as is Mijas Pueblo, both within 30 mins drive. Alan is a perfect host, and is always prompt to reply to questions at all stages of the rental. We will return !

A lovely apartment which was perfect for our needs. Lovely furnishings, modern yet homely feel.

We had an excellent stay. Alan's responsiveness was outstanding - indeed exemplar. All in all we had a wonderful stay and would like to return.The apartment was very comfortable. The bedroom upstairs and living areas are lovely and spacious and beautifully presented. The bedroom downstairs is a little tighter for space with a modern ensuite - it suited us perfectly sleeping two teenagers. There is also a very comfortable sofa bed giving a choice of configuration. The complex itself is great - reception staff were very attentive and friendly, excellent clean and well managed pools and a bar by the pool too for drinks and snacks, supermarket in easy walking distance plus a choice of lovely beaches and restaurants within a 1km radius. The apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed eating in too as there is a lovely patio both out the front and another out the back - giving a choice for a sunny or shady lunch / dinner. All in all, we had a lovely relaxing holiday with great beach days, pool days and a very comfortable place to stay. Thank you Alan.

Beautiful Modern Villa in an excellent location

My wife and I stayed here for 14 nights on our annual trip to Marbella (20 years and counting!) and this was the first time we had chosen not to stay in a hotel, so we were somewhat apprehensive about renting a self catering Villa. As soon as we arrived we knew we had done the right thing. The Villa is beautiful, very clean, bright, modern and well equipped. The terrace downstairs at the front is a lovely spot to enjoy a meal, It's private and quiet and the planted borders are well stocked with bright flowers and shrubs. The patio at the back is a nice shaded spot to enjoy a drink and to read a book. The lounge area is very comfortable and spacious and the kitchen has everything you could wish for, the large fridge was extremely useful. The air conditioning works extremely well.The downstairs bedroom is a good size with a lovely bathroom, lots of hot water and a great, powerful, rain shower. The master bedroom is large with good wardrobe space, the bed is comfortable and it has a lovely sun terrace off it which is great for catching the hot afternoon sun, the loungers are very comfortable. Again the air conditioning in this room works very well. The master bathroom is large with a good walk in shower, again there was lots of hot water and a powerful shower. As we were staying for two weeks we had a linen and towel change and the maid did a light clean. In our opinion this Villa is in the best position on the whole complex. The front is not overlooked and the pool is just through the back gate. The complex it's self is very well maintained and clean. The two pools are great, always plenty of loungers. There is a great supermarket only a 5 minute walk away, it stocks everything you could need and the main bus stop is, again, only a 5 minute walk away. Cabopino port and the beach are easily walkable. Alan was a great host right from the time of booking to arriving home. His communication was excellent and really reassuring. All in all a fantastic and relaxing holiday, we shall certainly be returning. Jason and Elaine
