Hate not being downtown? Tucked away just minutes from downtown Carbondale you can walk or ride your bike easily. Literally less than 2 minutes from the Rio Grande bike trail and 5 minutes walk from downtown. This 4 bed, 2 bath town home is the perfect vacation getaway for families and couples alike. All new everything and we didn't skimp on anything.

We furnished this home with us living here first and renting second. We personally love to cook and spend time in the common areas as a family so you can expect an amazing kitchen and dinning room as well a great family living room area and game room downstairs. Not to mention the huge backyard that is shared with the other unit. We have a yoga deck, bbq grill and even raised beds with fresh vegetables in the summer.

Perfect Location

8th Street Retreat was the perfect place for our stay. The place was well stocked with all natural amenities. There were essential oils which was a pleasant touch. The location was perfect within walking distance from everything. Check in and check out was easy. I will be recommending this place to anyone staying in Carbondale.

Great apartment in carbondale

The 8th street retreat was the perfect lodging for my large group of friends during our ski trip to snowmass. Jerry was super accommodating, communicative, and kind throughout our stay, even when one of our cars had a mechanical issue and had to be picked up. Highly recommend!

Exceeded Expectations

We were in town for a wedding. We wanted a "home" versus hotel room. The location was perfect, we were able to walk everywhere and the seating outside was awesome. We even forgot important things like an iron and blow-dryer. They had everything and more. Absolutely recommend.

Great place in a great location

Our family enjoyed our stay to celebrate my MILs 75th birthday. The house has everything we needed , including a stocked kitchen and fully supplies bathrooms. The location is great for easy access to Glenwood, Basalt, or Aspen, all of which have more to offer.

Perfect for a ski weekend getaway

We had a group of 7 guys in town for a long weekend of skiing and this house was perfect. Only a few blocks from downtown Carbondale so great location. The home is well furnished and updated with plenty of room to spread out and a large backyard. Also, plenty of parking, well stocked and CLEAN. The host was very communicative and let us drop our bags off early so we could ski the day we arrived. Highly recomend!

Great for our Wedding Weekend Stay

Friends and family stayed together to attend a wedding. The location was perfect for Springs Creek. The bedrooms worked perfectly and the amenities such as the back seating area and coffee beans in the cupboard were much enjoyed. Very comfortable place and perfect for our weekend in Carbondale.

Amazing property

Jerry is a great host!! He was very accommodating to our needs. Place was clean and beautiful. Unit has everything needed. The backyard gazebo/ sitting area is great. Loved this property and will definitely be back!!

Wedding around Carbondale

Jerry was super responsive to any concerns or issues we had! The space was super comfortable and clean! There are many things to pass the time if you have to relax, books, games, etc. Kitchen had everything we needed for making suppers and breakfast! We enjoyed our stay and were only sad because it was already booked for our Christmas in Carbondale! Thank You Jerry and Steph for having a great place for us to stay while visiting the area!

Carbondale is a perfectly-sized mountain town and this rental is at a perfect location to explore the town, local region, and Rockies at large. We slept comfortably after our long days of adventures.

Family Wedding

We stayed here for the week of a big family wedding. The owner/manager was great to us. He provided bikes upon request. The home was beautifully outfitter with everything one could possibly need. The configuration of the house lent itself to privacy with two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. There was a nice backyard for family gatherings. Walking distance to restaurants and the bike path were also a plus. The only downside was that during hot weather, the one cooking unit in the home located in the kitchen was not adequate for cooling. At night, with windows opened, things would gradually cool down. During the day, the house was far too hot.
