Professional grade kitchen, front and back porches, 2 living rooms, dining room. Off street parking. Close to the Finger Lakes where you can take a wine tour, Corning Museum of Glass, Watkins Glen where Watkins Glen International Raceway is located, and minutes from Elmira College, The Clemens Center. This is a beautiful home, comfortable, and lovingly restored. Amazing wood cabinets. With Corning Glass Museum so close, we enjoyed a full day in Corning. Weather was perfect along the Chemung River and Tanglewood Nature Center was great for hiking and enjoying the out of doors. Mark Twain's grave is worth a visit and its easy to see why he enjoyed this beautiful region and wrote many of his books in Elmira.

The house was simply a totally awesome experience

The extremely well stocked home was so comfortable and beautiful. It was an experience to be able to stay in this lovely Victorian home with all the modern comforts and space. Our family totally enjoyed the convenience to near by attractions in Seneca Lake, Corning, Ithaca, Watkins Glen and lovely restaurants within walking distance.The owners were so kind and accommodating I would highly recommend this home to larger groups or couples. We really loved it!

Large Beautiful Historic Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Elmira visiting family. This is a very large beautiful Victorian home. It is accurately pictured, well maintained and extremely clean. The owner was professional and was very quick to respond. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

Family gathering

House was a great gathering space. 6 adults stayed at the location and we had local family visit us while we there. The house was just as advertised and fully stalked for our needs. The added bonus aside from the great weather was the screened porch out back, the table and chairs on the lawn and the delightful front porch to drink our morning coffee. Will definitely stay there again if needed and recommend it others.

Hometown Visit/Family Reunion

Our entire family grew up in Elmira but over time all have moved to different areas of country. Sadly, the eldest sibling past away last year so a Celebration of Life in our home town was in order. This home was the perfect spot to meet up with old Elmira friends and anchor all the activities from. Beautiful home, resorted & furnished to the historical time of Elmira’s economic peak. I bet Mark Twain spent time there back in the day. Includes all the modern amenities & plenty of room to spread out. Nice folks too, well done.
