We loved our stay. Gorgeous cabin and setting close to Watkins Glen and Lake Seneca activities. Appreicated the firewood for the firepit and stove. Special place!

Chris and Beth are the nicest hosts. We were made feel welcomed since the day we booked our getaway. Very attentive and responsive. The cabin was exactly and described. The views were spectacular. So many trails and close to Watkins Glen.We are definitely returning next year!Thank you, Beth & Chris for your warm hospitality and a great vacation.

Great spot to spend a few days unplugged. Kids loved wandering in the creek. We enjoyed the views, campfires and games outside on the porch. We explored a few state parks including Watkins Glen, great location to have as a home base while sightseeing. Would recommend a visit if you enjoy the outdoors!

The whole stay there was such a treat! From Beth's initial correspondence, to the outdoor cooking set up and spectacular view. There are way more trails than we could explore in one trip, and hoping to snag an October weekend to see the view in fall colors!

This place is not for everybody but it certainly was for us. We had a fabulous time, relaxing, winding down and just enjoying each other in the nature all around us.. if you’d like to get away from it all, this is your spot… this cabin will bring memories or create them…

This property is fantastic! The cabin is rustic but had everything we needed for a great glamping experience. There is a lot to do in the area for both kids and adults. We would definitely stay here again.

We loved the views and the sound of the rain hitting the metal roof at night. The outdoor shower was a hit, 6am shower outside was an experience and a great way to start the day. The view off the porch was a perfect way to start and end the day as well. The kids really enjoyed the cabin and the games for outaide and the board games for the rainy days. Close enough to all the waterfalls and the little towns but yet far enough away tou couldn't hear anything but the birds and the water below the house. This was my first ever vacation away also the first time renting a place, this place really was a secluded GETAWAY. I absolutely loved the place and am already thinking about going back. Thank you so much for opening your property up to the rest of the world to enjoy. 10 outta 10.

Relaxing stay

The cabin is clean and cozy. The porch is great to hang out on and has a nice view. I would stay again.

Cabin in the woods

Grandkids’ vacation

We took our 3 grandchildren to the finger lakes area and stayed 3 nights at this cabin. Super cozy, tucked back in the woods. A bit rustic but very much worth it. Highly recommend staying here.

Amazing Stay

Had a wonderful glamping experience at this cabin. Kid friendly and a lot of excitement in the area from hiking, waterfalls, restaurants and shops with a short distance drive. Owners of this property are friendly and offer things to do on the property. Cabin was kept clean and inviting.

Isolated but not far away

Great spot to get a quiet weekend away with friends and have some nearby trails to hike around, and also only 15minutes from the heart of Watkins Glen when you need to get into town for anything!

Much needed R&R

We had a family emergency the day before our stay. The property manager was very responsive to questions before during, and even after our stay. The cabin was the perfect place for us to relax after all the chaos. I would highly recommend this cabin.

Wonderful property

We loved the cabin and our stay. The sleeping loft was very cozy and relaxing. We loved the outdoor shower and spending time on the porch. We were met by Chris at checkin and Beth was very quick to respond to any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone that wanted time away to disconnect. Thanks for a great time Beth & Chris!

Mini Honeymoon

My wife and I got married three weeks ago, before we could go on a long honeymoon we had the chance for a long weekend getaway. The cabin was perfect for us and our dog Roy! Not too far from town and entertainment, yet far enough out in the country amongst the farms and forest to enjoy the solitude.

Exactly what the doctor ordered. Enough wilderness to disconnect with enough 4g to connect to explore the . We enjoyed every moment of the glamping adventure. The cabin is what you want. Book it.

Wow! What an incredible property. If you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing, rustic getaway, this is it! An ultimate glamping experience! We are avid outdoors lovers and this was a great fit for us. Hope to rent again next summer.

Charming rustic cabin

A charming rustic cabin - truly a glamping experience! We had a great time being off the grid with no tv and not checking our phones. They provide games and corn hole to fill your time when not exploring the area. Beth was very responsive to all of my questions.

Carla, We loved having you and yours! You were the perfect guests and had excellent communication! We wanted to share the history of our Glamping Cabin! So as a kid, my husband grew up on the property and he spent his life exploring and playing in the forest surrounding the Cabin. Thus, the seed was planted to “someday” build a Cabin! Over 40 years ago, when my husband and his friends were 18 yrs old, the dream began! They cut the trees from the forest, and skinned the bark, etc and started building like it was a “Lincoln Log” Cabin as us kids played when they we we’re young (do you know about those toys? .. maybe we are dating ourselves! 😂) The Cabin is built out of American White Pine, and the porch is built from Red Pine, right from the forest it sat in! It has served as a hunting cabin and as a refuge for many a person who needed roof over their heads during challenging times. A special heartfelt note.. the Cabin was designed by an aspiring young architect, John, who died tragically at a young age, and the Cabin was the only structure he ever designed that was ever built. Dozens of talented young guys had a hand Cabin construction and you can see their workmanship still today! During the last 25 years, the Cabin has held an annual family fun Pumpkin Day party, where we carve pumpkins, go on a haywagon ride (at times haunted) on a day in Oct with our family and friends, which led us to build the outdoor covered porch, so we could carve pumpkins rain or shine! A very special place and we love to share it with others!!

“GLAMPING” GREAT FOR THE SOUL

It is a magical cabin in the woods, but close to many other types of activities!! My daughter, son-in-law, grandsons (6 & 7 year old), and myself enjoyed exploring the trails, falls, and beauty of nature all around the cabin. The SUPER HOSTS BETH and CHRIS have everything you need at this phenomenal place! If you are an avid outdoorsman, and love nature…..check this out!!

Hidden Gem

Beth and Chris were quick and responsive whenever I needed them. Their cabin is a gem!!! Can’t explain how amazing it is. From all the open windows to the large porch to the hammocks swinging under the tree..we enjoyed every inch of it! We will certainly be back!!!!

Glamping mom with college age boys

Great location and well appointed cabin. Gorgeous property with a mini gorge, stream and views. Home base for trip to hike Watkins Glen State Park, Racing the Glen, and Corning Glass Museum. We made campfires and enjoyed the very clean and various outdoor cooking stations. Our golden retriever joined us and loved it too. Thank you Beth and Chris for your excellent communication, recommendations and for the great memories.
