Great stay!

Perfect spot! The location was ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore. Marilia was welcoming and attentive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a truly wonderful holiday at Marilia’s lovely little house with a pool, set amidst nature. It offered a beautiful view, a stunning garden, a good-sized pool, and a house equipped with everything one might need. Everything was neat and clean, and communication with Marilia went smoothly. It was the perfect place to simply enjoy some peace and quiet and unwind. It is also ideal for children. I highly recommend it. Many thanks for everything.

Great stay

Great old barn, do not expect brand new objects, but a lively location and Marilia is such a nice person. We enjoyed it very much and will be back for sure. Travel by car or train to San Gimignano, Florence, Pisa or Livorno etc. Really a pleasant stay.

Wonderful host in heart of Chianti

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Our host Marilia is lovely and gave very helpful recommendations for vineyards, restaurants and cooking classes in the area. The view and surrounding area is breathtaking!

Very charming house in an amazing location

The house was beautiful and charming, the view fantastic. The garden beautiful and a big bonus with the pool. The location is excellent for exploring Toscany. The owner was very nice and helpful. I definitely recommend it and hope we will come back one day.

Beautiful country home

We had a fantastic time in Marilia's authentic country house and we enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house incl. the charming garden has beautiful country views and is equipped with everything we needed. Marilia is an amazing host, easy to communicate with and very caring. Thanks, Marilia!

Modest and rustic is accurate with a great view. Chilly at the time of year we went and an old house doesn’t hold heat well. Well located in Tuscany and roomy enough for four of us. Ample parking. Windy conditions impacted wi-fi. Very close to town but far enough away to think you are well outside. Nothing stocked in kitchen so plan to bring your own. Oven was a convection oven so not very large. Tons of character and if you understand what you are getting it is a delightful experience. Mariala was a really accommodating host and booked a cooking class right there in the house based on her recommendation (she also coordinated it).

Just wonderful!

We’ve rented several s/c places and this one is just perfect! Quiet, very clean, welcoming, homely, stunning views, everything you need! A perfect week under the Tuscan Sun! The owner Marilia is warm, friendly welcoming and very hard working. Every morning the pool had been cleaned and spotless. Always a cheery face and so interested that you were having a great holiday! The house is chic, rustic, spotless and goergeous! We would have bought it there and then! Marilia you are a 5****** host xx

Marilia deserves to be the VRBO host of the year! She was so helpful and accommodating. The house is comfy and spacious. We had a little issue with understanding the heating system but she solved it immediately. We were out of season for the pool. Oh well. We used this as our hub for side trips to various Tuscany towns and it was perfect. Marilia brought us a couple of surprises during our stay which was sweet. One major bonus that you will appreciate if you spend anytime in Italy. You get a dedicated parking spot! Highly recommend!

Man kann diese Unterkunft nur empfehlen. Sie liegt ideal um die bekanntesten Städte der Toskana zu besichtigen. Die Unterkunft ist wie beschrieben, die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet, auch Gewürze sowie Kaffee und Tee waren vorhanden. Der Rest des Hauses ist für vier Personen ideal groß, der Pool war sehr schön. Die Kommunikation mit Marilia war stets fix und hilfreich. Wir hatten einen rundum gelungenen Urlaub. Vielen Dank

Es ist ein wunderschöner Ort zum verweilen. Hier kann man wortwörtlich die Seele baumeln lassen. Wir würden mehr als 5 Sterne geben, wenn wir könnten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und ordentlich. Es ist wahnsinnig liebevoll mit vielen kleinen Details eingerichtet. Dazu ist der Pool mit der Aussicht einfach das I-Tüpfelchen oben drauf. Auch ist Marilia eine wahnsinnig zu vorkommende Persönlichkeit. Wir haben uns durch ihre liebevolle Art und Weise gleich wohl gefühlt. Auch hat sie sich Zeit genommen und uns mit vielen Tips für Tagesausflüge und Restaurants versorgt. Wir hoffen das wir selbst einmal wieder in den Genuss kommen werden diesen wundervollen Ort zu besuchen. Danke an Marilia, es war einer der schönsten Urlaube die wir je hatten!

Superbe endroit ! La maison est authentique et tres agréable, le jardin et la piscine sont tout aussi bien !!! Marilia a été incroyable avec nous, elle etait dusponible et très aidante ! Nous avons eu énormément de plaisir et recommandons cet endroit les yeux fermés !!!

Im Herzen Italiens - ein Zuhause

Unser Aufenthalt war wundervoll. Marellas Haus liegt etwas abseits von Castelfiorentino und ist über eine nicht befestigte Straße zu erreichen. Man lebt in einer ruhigen, landwirtschaftlichen Umgebung neben den Einheimischen, ab und an hört man die italienische Sprache, man fühlt sich in Italien zu Hause. Es gibt viele Schwalben, andere Vögel, die für eine musikalische Untermalung sorgen. Vom Pool aus hat man einen wundervollen Ausblick auf die Landschaft und die schöne Natur.Der Pool wird regelmäßig gesäubert. Überhaupt ist das Haus sehr sauber, es ist gemütlich, es fehlt an nichts, alles ist vorhanden, was wir so noch nirgendwo erlebt haben. Besonders gerne haben wir in der KÜche gekocht.IM Ort gibt es am Samstag einen Markt, wo wir sehr gerne gutes Gemüse und Käse eingekauften. (Einen coop gibt es ebenso im Ort) Die Terasse direkt vor der Tür war zum Frühstücken und Mittagessen perfekt. Der Garten auf dem Hang angelegt, bietet mehrere Rückzugs/Sitzgelegenheiten, die allesamt durch Pflanzen beschattet werden. Die Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock sind einladend, die Matratzen bequem, es ist ruhig. Viele Ausflugsziele sind in 1 oder 1,5 Stunden erreichbar. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.Das HErz der Unterkunft sind Mariella und ihr Vater. Sie kümmern sich freundlich und aufmerksam um alles, sind immer ansprechbar. Die Kommunikation mit Mariella klappt reibungslos. Danke Mariella

Traumhafte Lage

Das Haus liegt traumhaft auf einer Anhöhe. Man hat von dort eine sagenhaften Blick über die Landschaft. Der Pool und der Garten sind traumhaft angelegt und man ist völlig ungestört und absolut ruhiger Lage. Marilia ist super nett und immer zur Stelle, wenn man ein Anliegen hat. Es war eine super erholsame Zeit. Vielen Dank!

Wundervoller Aufenthalt in toller Umhau

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt in mitten der Hügel der Toskana.Die Lage zwischen Florenz und Siena war eine perfekte Ausgangssituation für viele tolle Ausflüge.Aber auch die Zeit im Haus und im Garten mit Pool haben wir sehr genossen.Die Gastgeberin war sehr herzlich und hilfsbereit, und bei Nachfragen jederzeit zu einer Auskunft bereit.Vielen Dank für die tolle Zeit
