Vacation in Tuscany

I really recommend this place for your vacation. Location and cleanliness is great. And our host Elizabetta and Michele greeted us with such warmth, really made us feel at home.

Amazing historic place to stay. A taste of the medieval.

It was wonderful and spacious with beautiful views. My only complaint would be the water pressure in the shower.

Lots to explore from this beautiful medieval property.

A relaxing stay in this charming medieval property amid the beautiful chianti hills. An ideal getaway for family or friends. Great facilities, wonderful location. Lots of interesting places to visit nearby including vineyard tours and tasting and close enough to Siena and Florence for sightseeing, art and shopping. Spectacular views in every direction.

Home Away From Home

We loved staying in this ancient apartment! We ended up spending 5 weeks living here. The master bedroom at the top was our favorite!! The kitchen was great, the downstairs shower had fantastic water pressure, the neighborhood was beautiful, the neighbors were quiet, we felt safe, and we really were impressed by the fabulous communication we had with the hosts before and during our stay. They were simply lovely.

Ro Ro’s Princess Castle

Our three year old granddaughter thought it was her castle and that she was a princess. Michele and Elisabetta remain exquisite hosts and the neighbors are very welcoming. Rental cars and train system allowed us to visit neighboring cites. Overall, a wonderful vacation!!!!

Great Tuscan Home

We rented this property for one week in April, 2015. The property is very clean and spacious and had all the amenities. We used this place as a launch point to discover Tuscany, making day trips to Florence, Pisa, Luca, Bologna, Parma, Sienna and others. The owner is very friendly and helpful and met our every need. We especially enjoyed the welcome basket she provided. I highly recommend this place for families or small groups.

Great Home

Great property, local neighbors can be a little loud (walls seem thin). If I were to make one suggestion it would be label the inside trash cans, 5 different bins outside for different types of trash is a bit difficult to understand.

Beautiful rural Tuscan stay

A very beautiful property and grounds, in the middle of the Tuscan countryside The patio area with charcoal grill amongst the olive trees was a beautiful setting for snacks and meals The house inside was very rustic and authentic but comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom s are well equipped Our hosts were very friendly and the welcome bottle of wine and fresh fruit basket was a wonderful touch after a long day of travelling The neighbours were lovely we spoke to several of them though a language barrier Google translate did the job PK

Tuscany paradise

Lovely spot. Nice and large with lots of room for a big family. You are in the country - so you’ll walk 500-1500 metres to a town to buy food. Car is a great idea. Views from the property are unparalleled. No screens on windows so mosquito coils that were provided were helpful. A/c worked well in the two bedrooms they had it in. Would definitely rent again!

Enchanted April

This wonderful old house exceeded all expectations! Surrounded by beautiful vistas of olive trees, grapevines, and medieval Tuscany villages, everywhere you look could be the background of a Da Vinci painting. Great walks, amazing food (check out Casalta and di Buzzanca!), and easy access to Florence, cooking classes, wine tasting, art! And at the end of every amazing day, you come home to this house -- so well-equipped, so clean, so spacious and comfortable, and great wifi. Wisteria and sunshine!

Sitio ideal para visitar la Toscana. Region espectacular.

Los propietarios encantadores y siempre disponibles. Nos obsequiaron con una botella de Chianti y con dos paquetes de pasta. Además al cabo de la primera semana repusierons sabanas y toallas limpias. La casa está muy ben equipada y las fotos hacen justicia. Muy amplia y espaciosa. Situada en el centro de la Toscana a 10 minutos de la autopista. Tan solo sugeriria mejorar la cobertura del wifi, muy pobre sobre todo a a que se conectan diversos aparatos, y a nivel de equipamiento, instalar un reproductor de DVD, ya que para los huespedes procedentes de Catalunya, tan solo tienes acceso a canal Sur internacional, cuya programacion es totalmente ridicula. Por lo demás estancia maravillosa

la cas esta bien. Es grande y original. A pesar del calor de la calle, si organizas bien las ventanas, no hay problema para dormir. Hay algunos restaurantes cerca donde se puede comer bien y a buen precio. Dwsvwntajas: un poco mas apartado de la cuenta. Mosquitos por las noches y el supermercado queda un poco lejos.

MANSION FABULOSA

Casa muy grande, limpia y acogedora; con todas las comodidades... Muy buena ubicación para visatar la Toscana. Los propietarios son muy amables y simpáticos. Estuvimos cinco personas diez dias y la estancia fue estupenda. Recomiendo este alojamiento.

Es gibt nur Gutes über dieses Ferienhaus zu sagen. Der Besitzer war vor Ort als wir ankamen, wies uns ein und gab uns sogar Tips für Restaurants in der Nähe. Die Lage ist perfekt für Trips nach San Gimignano, Siena und Florenz. Das "kleine mittelalterliche Dorf" ist genau das, klein, freundliche Nachbarn, unglaublich romantisch. Das Haus selbst ist riesig und authentisch eingerichtet. Die Küche ist gut bestückt, der Besitzer hatte Gewürze, Kaffee, Pasta, Obst etc bereitgestellt. Wirklich ein super Service und ein toller Aufenthalt.

Très bel endroit pour quelques jours en Toscane. Nous avons passé 4 nuits chez Michele e Elisabeth, avec 2 jours de visites à Florence et 1 à Sienne et San Geminiano. L’alternance de la foule - surtout à Florence- avec le calme et la beauté du petit hameau où se trouve la maison était un bon équilibre. Nos hôtes nous ont donné de très bons conseils et adresses. Seule opportunité d’amélioration, qui ne dépend pas de nos hôtes : à quand des chemins piétonniers hors route pour se promener dans la campagne ?Adresse que nous recommandons chaudement.

Séjour parfait

Accueil chaleureux . Maison confortable bien aménagée et située dans un hameau très calme et typique.Notre objectif était de faire découvrir la Toscane à un jeune couple et à leurs enfants . La proximité de Florence est un atout ainsi que celle de Sienne. San Gimignano et Volterra ne sont pas loin . La maison est agréable , nous étions 7 chacun peut avoir son espace ce qui est bien appréciable après une journée de visites.

Une oasis en Toscane

Maison médiévale au sein d’un havre de paix (hameau) de quelques habitants tous plus sympathiques les uns que les autres et située à une cinquantaine de mètres de la départementale voisine. Lieu stratégique privilégié pour visiter la Toscane entre Pise, Florence et Sienne. Je conseille vivement !
