This most impressive hilltop estate offers a grand sense of scale; privacy and pure blue vistas of sky, sea and pool. In gated ‘Green Cay’ on the South Side of St Thomas. Watch the Cruise Ships come and go with sweeping panoramic views. One level, all beautifully detailed and furnished, offering wonderful panoramas from all windows. Villa Green Cay is fully air-conditioned or you may prefer to open windows and enjoy the cool ocean breezes. Just outside is the pool with plenty of shade for outdoor dining or just curling up and reading a good book.
There are 3 Bedroom suites, all have King size beds and their own bathrooms. Each suite opens up to the pool deck and has breathtaking sea vistas punctuated with islands in the distance.

Wow!

Pictures don’t do the views justice. The house is spacious and the deck and pool provide wonderful outdoor space. Location is convenient to both Charlotte Amalie and Red Hook. Coolers and chairs available for trips to the bech. Stayed as a family of 5 and would love to return.

Stunning views, terrific home!

We were VERY pleased with this house. For our family (two adults, two children) it was perfect, with extra space. The views are unbeatable, the neighborhood is so quiet, and the house is very comfortable and well stocked with basic needs (towels, coolers, chairs, laundry supplies).

Lovely property for adults

Beautiful home privately situated in lovely neighborhood not too far from town. One caveat: there is no beach to walk to. Several beaches within a 15 min car ride range. Restaurants nearby of varying fancy-ness but all good.

Amazing views!!!!

The 360 views of the ocean while in the infinity pool is breathtaking and unforgettable. House is very spacious and in a great location. Will definitely come back here again soon! The house, location and outdoor space is even better in person! Great communication and information provided from the property manager about the house and the island. One of the most relaxing vacations we have had. Thank you!

Absolutely beautiful!

We had the best week while staying at this beautiful house in Green Cay Plantation! The views from the back patio were so pretty! We enjoyed the infinity pool and watching the cruise ships go in and out of port. The house was spacious and exceeded our expectations! I can’t say enough good things about the hosts! They were easy to deal with and extremely responsive when we had questions or asked for recommendations. We used a recommendation for Chef Colin from Island Edge Culinary which was the best meal we ate while visiting!

Million dollar view. Paradise on earth.

Host Melissa was easy to reach and very helpful. Lovely property, nicely furnished. Everything one could need is available, although the appliances are a little dated. We didn’t want to do much cooking anyway. Traversing the driveway is a little challenging but otherwise a wonderful spot. We would love to stay there again.

Amazing Views

Property was very nice with amazing views. Property manager Melissa was very nice and on top of everything. Only reason I can't give 5 stars it the toilet paper and the bedroom doors. When staying a nice place I expect more then single ply TP that you would find at a tuck stop. And the Bedroom doors are not solid so you can hear everything with the adjoining room. Other then that beautiful property and I would defiantly stay again.

Breath taking villa at Green Cay plantation

I recently stayed at Green Cay Plantation Villa in Frenchman Bay and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the amazing hospitality provided by Melissa and Juanda, the super hosts who allowed us to stay at this beautiful villa on VRBO. Our five-day stay at the villa was absolutely breathtaking and amazing, and exceeded all of our expectations. The villa had everything we expected and more, and every detail was just perfect. Melissa and Juanda's attention to detail and thoughtfulness were evident in every aspect of the villa. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, stunning views, and beautiful decor were just a few of the highlights. We were also thrilled when they extended an additional day for our stay, which was truly above and beyond our expectations and made our vacation even more special. Thank you both again for making our stay so memorable. We are already looking forward to future trips and the opportunity to stay at Green Cay Plantation Villa once again. I highly recommend this beautiful villa to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation experience.

Family week at St Thomas villa

We are a family of 5 (three mostly grown children) that had such a wonderful time at this villa. We had high expectations, as the pictures are stunning. Believe it or not, we found the setting and the views to be even more spectacular when we walked in. Like "wow." We used the villa as our base for the week exploring, snorkeling, getting out every day. But it was such a delight to spend long hours here every day before and after our activities. The pool is lovely, the kitchen well equipped. The villa is perched high up and is quiet, mostly the sounds of the waves and of nature. This is what pictures cannot capture. Amazing sunsets. We had a rental car and it is true the driveway is a bit of a challenge at first because it is steep, so we had to be mindful not to scrape the bottom of our small rental car on the lip, but we mastered that after one try. The payoff for that is an exceptional location. Communication with the hosts was easy and kind. We would definitely come back to this amazing villa.

Relaxing Week in Luxury Home with a View!

Beautiful property. Everything was as advertised and the pictures accurately reflect this lovely home. The view and the pool with the long lanai were spectacular. House is quiet and private. Melissa was available to answer questions and give advice before and during stay and deserves premier host status. Our family loved everything about this house!!! We appreciated having beach chairs, cooler and beach towels for beach expeditions. The driveway is steep but you get used to it. Read the house information binder when you arrive. 100% recommend Melissa and this lovely property. Covid travel requirements were not a barrier, the USVI travel portal was easy to use. Arrival processing at airport was fast and efficient. Paradise Car rental was the same and highly recommend. Part of our lovely experience was the absence of cruise ship crowds, hard on local businesses but nice for those visiting the island right now as restaurants and the beautiful beaches were not crowded. Our first visit to USVI and we will return! Thank you Melissa.

Beautiful property, but description on bedroom layout not accurate

Just returned from a week at this beautiful villa. The property itself is stunning! Safe neighborhood and absolutely beautiful view! We were traveling as 3 couples, and I would say the biggest downfall is the layout and description of the bedrooms. Yes, there are 3 separate Bedrooms and bathrooms, but 2 of them are connected. You have to walk through one bedroom to get to the next. Paneling on the louvered door was missing, so you could hear everything in the next room, offering very little privacy! I feel like this should be disclosed in the description, I am not sure we would have picked this property knowing that. The only other feedback is the gate into the property is inconsistent. Sometimes the code worked, sometimes it didn’t and you needed to sit a wait for someone to leave before you entered. Not convenient. Besides these two items, great property and stay!

Beyond Perfection

The description and images of this place just doesn't capture how perfect it is. To start, the driveway is a little daunting, but you don't need a masters degree to get up and down it in your vehicle. When we would call a cab, we just met them at the top of the driveway. The house itself is impeccable. There is at least one full bathroom in each bedroom, and a guest bathroom in the living room area. The beds are huge and the sheets and blankets are so comfortable, I plan on ordering the same for my house. Each bedroom has a sliding door that leads to the back deck/porch/balcony. I cannot stress enough how amazing the view is from any angle. There is more than enough seating of every type by the pool. There was plenty of shade for those of us who burn super easily. We ate every meal outside when we were at the house. We spent the vast majority of our time at the house outside in the pool or sitting at the outdoor table. The padded chairs are perfect for sitting and reading all day. The lounge chairs are perfect for laying out in the sun. There are so many pool floaties provided, and we left a couple ourselves. The grill is amazing. Top of the line! You could easily book a week long trip to St. Thomas and never leave this house. We had this house booked for months, and over the time leading up to our vacation we had several questions. The response time was almost immediate, every time we asked a question. 5 million stars. And a huge thank you! We had an absolute blast!

Scenic veranda

This villa is a lovely place to enjoy the wonderful St Thomas March weather. The veranda overlook is beautiful and a great place to relax, enjoy the pool and have a few cocktails The villa was perfect for two couples to spend 2 weeks away from the March weather in Pennsylvania. It has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. St Thomas roads are a challenge and the same goes for the roads and driveways in the Green Cay Plantation neighborhood. We had a lovely vacation here.

What a glorious location…

We loved our stay here (two couples) so much. The views from the house are absolutely breathtaking and made it difficult to leave. We made dinner and dined on the patio nearly every night.There are plenty of beach chairs and coolers, as well as quality pool towels.We had a perfect stay from beginning to end.

Such great views.

This property was better than in the pictures. Every Bedroom has a view of the ocean. We spent a lot of time at this house because the view of the ocean, the pool, the wildlife - just so much to relax to. Plenty of board/card games and puzzles to chose from. The kitchen was stocked well so that we could grill and make our own dinners - except for the nights we went to Red Hook to try some of the restaurants. Restaurants, grocery stores, kayaking, a mall, escape room- there is so much to do within 20 min drive.

Absolutely Amazing

Incredible. May be the best house we've ever rented. Views will blow you away. Totally private. Awesome layout. Just my wife and I on this trip but big enough for 2 or 3 couples. The view is insane. House had everything we needed and hosts were great. Beaches nearby and even the farthest ones are only 20 minutes. Hope to come back to St. Thomas and will def stay here again if I do. Thanks so much for sharing!

Photos exactly represent home; just breathtaking. Very well set up for three couples or a family of 6. Hosts were very responsive and kind about my many questions of St Thomas. We'll be back, it was an amazing week!

Paradise

I'm hesitant to write this review because the property, location, and vacation were so perfect, I almost don't want anyone else to know about it so I can book it again without worry that it may be unavailable! Everything was just as advertised and better. The beach is a couple miles from the house, and yes, it's worth it to rent a jeep. We had the beach to ourselves for the majority of the time. It really felt surreal. We used the coolers and snorkel gear in the house and that made it very convenient. The house was perfect too! Stayed cool while it was 97 outside! Bedrooms were all spacious and it was great that each has its own bathroom. We had zero contact with the owners. It was so perfect we had absolutely no need to! But to them, Thank you for helping make out vacation perfect! I highly recommend!

Gorgeous!

The vantage point of the house is truly incredible for expansive views out over the water. The back patio is every bit as nice as the web pictures show. The pool is also a very nice size (maybe 10 yards or so in length). Property manager was very responsive. Two examples: We had a problem with one of the A/C units not working one morning and it was fixed by lunchtime! We also had noticed there were no small plates in the kitchen. I mentioned this to the manager on our last day and they were very appreciative of the feedback and planned to supplement dishware accordingly. Loved that there were plenty of bath and beach towels in the house. Light sleeper notes: The nighttime critters (birds(?)) can be extremely loud and jarring (even with running a sound conditioner!). I ended up also downloading a white noise app to run too! Bedrooms (noticeable with #2 and #3) also have thin walls, so another plug for sound conditioners. Driver note: The driveway has a very steep downward slope that has a hairpin turn halfway. A bit harrowing until you get the hang of it! Beach note: You'll need to travel out of the community to get down to a beach. Out of the beaches we visited (Limetree, Bolongo, Sapphire, Lindquist, Secret Harbor, Magens) - the two faves were the last two (had sandy beach and sandy water bottom with no seaweed, flies, rocks etc). Grocery Store note: Loved Fruit Bowl for the variety/natural foods. Prices were in range of others. Would stay here again!!
