Barking dogs
Positives: House was very clean. Spacious layout and well appointed. Great price point. Have room with foosball and air-hockey. Host responded quickly to messages. House is great location for food and fun and getting to ski resorts. Cons: There are a few that make this disqualifying for us as a good place to stay.1) master bed is super creaky. Any movement and the wood frame creaks and makes so much noise it woke both of us up with every movement.2) I don’t believe the electronic code to the front door or the garage keypad are changed between guests. This is a significant safety concern for us. 3) Neighborhood has several homes with barking dogs. One in particular had dogs barking at it until almost 2AM on our first night there. The house directly next door has a deck overlooking the back yard and a dog there barked at me non-stop when I stepped outside. I reached out to host and in summary said there’s nothing they can do about it or offered help. So…for those who might find this review after being in a similar predicament…Ogden City ordinance prohibits barking dogs after 8pm. Barking over 15 min prior to that time is also illegal.
