Apartment completely renovated in 2018. It has two rooms with a double bed each and a room with two single beds, a toilet and a bathroom. Located in the historic center of Valencia, next to the Del Carmen neighborhood, 2 minutes from the Cathedral, 20 minutes walk from the City of Sciences, well connected with metro stop and bus lines. The apartment is fully equipped, with ADSL included, located in a quiet street. The apartment is not rented to children under 25 years.
Large pets are not allowed and parties are totally prohibited, as we respect the tranquility of the neighborhood.

City center?

The location is on the very outside of the city center far from city center sites. an odd layout inside not very comfortable feeling. With broken chairs about to fall apart. The best part about this place would be it has two bathrooms and its next to a great brunch restaurant.

Nice stay near the old city centre

The two of us (couple around 40) stood 3 weeks. The apartment is big and very well situated: near the center (5min. walk), near metro and Bus (n°95 and 32 to the beach) and a lot of supermarkets, restaurants, shopping, parks. The flat is quiet, only in the big 2-bed sleeping room there is noise from the big street nearby, but during nighttime (11pm-7am) it is ok. The small sleeping room is pretty small and contains besides two open racks for clothes only a small double bed (~140cm), so we decided to take the big room with two single beds, which was the right decision for us. This room has plenty of space, but is quite empty and the space in the wardrobe is limited. So we used the wardrobe from the small room as well. The advantage of the small sleeping room is that the window faces the quiet patio, but be aware that the patio might smell when somebody downstairs is cooking (that happened twice a week that sb. cooked kind of 10pm). The other bedroom, attached to the big room, was locked. As the building got an elevator (very comfortable, 4th floor) the living room is smaller now (minus the space for the elevator) and the big table does not fit any more into the corner like on the pics. As we were only two we rearranged the table a bit and then it was good for us. The equipment in the kitchen is limited and in my eyes improvable. As we only had breakfast and a snack in the evening in the apartment it was ok, but to cook and have meals with 4 or even 6 people seems difficult to me. What I really missed were small bowls for cereals and a large one for salad. What would have been also great: pepper and oil for common use, only salt was available. For coffee there is only a Moka Express (not the machine like on the pic). The apartment was renovated in 2018, but I think the furniture is the old one; still ok, but the dining table and one of the single beds were squeaking a lot. One mattress was outworn as well. Wifi was ok, but did not reach to the big sleeping room. A hint: The water from the tab contains a lot of chalk and so in the kettle was a lot of limescale. Even after descaling I did not like tea brewed with tab water (coffee was ok) I used to drink only bottled water during my stay.

Very nice apartment, can be hot in bedrooms

Overall this was a great apartment in a very convenient location, next to old town and the long park running through the city. The host(s) were gracious and helpful. My only negative comment is that Valencia can be hot and humid in the summer (I also visited during a fairly hot week). There is air conditioning in the living room, but it does not propagate to the bedrooms in the back of the house. Fans were provided for us, but for somebody from a very dry climate, sleeping in the humid heat was a bit difficult.

Bien situé, calme et confortable

Situé à moins de 100 mètres de la Turia qui mène en moins de 10 minutes au métro Alaméda sur la ligne de l'Aéroport mais également à 20 minutes à pied de la Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias. Par ailleurs, situé juste en bordure mais intra muros de la vieille ville, en 10 minutes on est à la cathédrale et près des commerces. Le quartier est calme, avec boulangerie sur la place juste en bas de l'immeuble et délicieux restaurant de tapas "El Barzito", fréquenté principalement par des valenciens. L'appartement situé au 4ème étage sans ascenseur est calme, spacieux, très propre et conforme au descriptif. La cuisine est grande et pourrait disposer d'une table pour les repas rapides ainsi que d'un grille pain et de quelques couteaux de cuisine pour découpe et épluchage. La 3ème chambre est contiguë à la 2ème qui elle est très spacieuse. A cette période, le fond de l'air était un peu frais mais les chauffages individuels dans chaque pièce étaient parfaits. L'accueil impeccable à notre arrivée et à notre départ. Bref, nous sommes très satisfaits et reviendrons car l'emplacement est pour nous idéal. Merci à Patricia.
