Perfect spot right on the sound. Sunset every night from the porch. Nice dock for fishing, swimming, kayaking. Short walk to restaurants, shops, putt-putt, Lewis's Seafood (fresh catch daily!). Also close to the town park with a playground, pickleball, and basketball hoops. Great beach access nearby. If you want to wake up to a gret view of the sound, this is the place

The house is beautiful! Very comfortable beds and furniture and the kitchen had everything we needed ! The dock provided a great spot for fishing! Sound view of the sunsets was priceless ! Thank you Edna. She was a great hostess!!

Topsail Vacation

Perfect location, walking distance to shops, playground, beach and direct access for fishing off the private pier. We have stayed here on several trips over the last years and will continue coming back!

The location is perfect!! The house is centrally located in Topsail Beach. Walking and/or biking distance to everything. We only drove in our car to see what the next towns were like. The house is a little dated, but newer living room furniture makes it cozy. If you are thinking of staying here, remember to bring coffee, tea bags and Kleenex to name a few things. The kayaks were great as we were able to enjoy a quick ride out to sand dunes. Tuck’s sunset cruise was a nice boat ride - although no sun was out to set. Overall, nice place. I would stay here again.

Wonderful property

I booked the property because my son was getting married and it was in close proximity to the venue. It was also dog friendly. It’s such a beautiful beach cottage. The host was friendly, accommodating and such a pleasure to work with. My only regret was if I wasn’t so busy with the wedding I could have enjoyed staying at the property more. But while I was there amazing deck views. We even saw dolphins. Totally recommend!

Best place in the island

This is the perfect get-away. This is the best location on the entire island. It is truly a gem. We loved being able to fish off the pier and take the kayaks out to the sandbar in the sound (a dream come true for me), and to swim in the sound just steps from the cottage. The cottage is on a quiet street but within walking distance to the Gift Basket, Beach Shop and Grill, Putt Putt, Jolly Roger, etc. Edna is wonderful to work with - super nice and accommodating. Sweet, sweet time there!!! Very thankful!!!

Right on time with topsail time

This place is absolutely amazing. It’s quaint and gives the laidback local feel. We have stayed many places in topsail, but this one takes the cake. The view is outstanding. The dock is perfect for fishing and docking a boat. We have a 225 Seahunt and had zero issues docking here. The house sits on the ICWW in a no wake zone so you don’t have to worry about waves causing your boat to rock into the dock. It’s also great because you can take your floats and lounge around in the water without being tossed around. I cant say enough great things about this place. I am always weary when reading reviews because everyone has their own opinion, but I can assure you that this is the perfect place to rent. Edna is a doll as well. She is incredibly responsive and looks out for you during your stay. She’s available all the time and gives great recommendations. By far the best host we have encountered. We can’t wait to stay here again. This will be our go to from now on. Thank you Edna for sharing this wonderful piece of paradise and being so great!

Couldn’t ask for a better sunset view! Yard, sound side beach/dock, and close proximity to ocean made for the perfect family vacation, especially with 2 year old and dog in tow. Access to kayaks made for great trips to the low tide sandbar and panorama windows kept you connected to the outdoors at all times. Loved walking into town to grab seafood, extra supplies, and dinner one night. Inside is cozy and common area is great for lounging. Kitchen is tight for meal prepping for a large group, especially without a dishwasher. Bedrooms are small, but nice to have the 2nd full bath off the primary. As mentioned in the listing, owner lives next door so they may access their boat from your dock. Beware of parking at the beach access, they ticket quickly and no longer accept yearly permits. Overall we loved Topsail Time and are still beaming about the incredible time we had! A few upgrades and this could be one of the best rentals on the island.

Beautiful Cottage

We had an amazing weekend staying here. The views were gorgeous and the cottage felt like home. We would definitely stay here again

A little slice of heaven

This was the perfect cottage for our family of three. Edna was such an incredible host and made us feel at home. We will definitely be back! The sunset views from the back porch can not be beat, best we’ve ever seen!

Sound front cottage

Great location & easy walk to shops/restaurants. Pet, family, kid friendly house. Beautiful sound front sunset views. Sandbar nearby. Highly recommend.

Slice of Heaven

Topsail Time cottage is perfect in every way. I have left there feeling refreshed and looking very much forward to my next stay. The house is wonderful and everything you need is there. The views are amazing and morning coffee of the porch with dolphins, birds, and boat watching were so beautiful. Edna is so easy to reach should you have a need. Highly recommend her place!

Great location

Being on the sound was perfect for our family. We fished, jumped off the dock, watched the dolphins swim by and searched for shells all right in front of the house. Our 3 year old grandson loved digging in the sand on our own little beach. The beach house had all the accommodations we needed. Edna was immediately responsive when I called with questions. It is a lovely home to spend your vacation in a beautiful location

Best Little Beach House!

Topsail Time is positively perfect - darling, comfortable furnishings, gorgeous views, and ideal location! We are in love and hope to return many times in the future! Host is wonderful and we are so grateful to have experienced a magical, relaxing week with our adult kids and dogs tucked away between sea and sound. 💗☀️🏝

Great House, Great Stay

We enjoyed this cute gem of a house for Memorial Day. Being a short walk to the beach but on the intercoastal side, it was the best of both worlds. We enjoyed the kayaks and swings and the kids liked playing football on the lawn.

April at Topsail

Excellent weather. Beautiful view of sound … windows across the whole back of the house. And we enjoyed watching the boats go by. We enjoyed local seafood. We also surf fished at North Topsail. Edna was extremely welcoming and accommodating. This is our third stay here. We will come again.

Perfect retreat

From the moment we pulled up and saw the back yard on the water, with the dock and kayaks, we knew we were going to have a great time. As soon as we checked in, we went down and caught about 20 good size spot fish and swam. The next day we took kayaks into the channel and caught several good sized Blue fish for dinner. We stay on TI several times a year and always get a different place to experience new things. I am already figuring out when we can go back to Edna’s place. It was the perfect relaxing and refreshing oasis for our weekend.
