Located just 55 minutes out of Jackson Hole, WY, this spectacular vacation home sits on 1.5 acres of prime property and is part of the Star Valley Ranch community in western Wyoming. This spacious 5000 sqr. ft, home is nestled in the woods and overlooks a beautiful fishing pond... No license required (check with HOM for regulations.)

Within walking distance of this luxurious family mountain retreat are facilities that include two tennis courts, a children's playground and the clubhouse for the 9 and 18 hole PGA Golf Courses, and improved hiking trails. Explore the mountainside community. Find your way to the community swimming pool or grab your golf clubs and hit balls at the driving range. Reserve a tee time at the 18-hole PGA golf course known as Cedar Creek also located on Star Valley Ranch property.

Take the short 55-minute scenic drive to Jackson Hole for some site-seeing adventures. Ride the rapids on guided tours down the famous Snake River. Visit Teton National Park. Hike improved nearby canyon trails for spectacular waterfalls and get to know the nature around you.

Each room in this fully furnished, resort-style vacation home is represented by a different theme. Enjoy your slumber surrounded by mythical Norwegian trolls. Dream of the Wild West while sleeping in the Cowboy Room or float in the safe harbor of the Lighthouse Room. Get snug and comfortable in the Love Nest. The kids will love the Disney room. There are two master bedrooms... Enjoy the night stars through skyglass windows over the bed in the master Loft! and the main floor Master Suite is perfect for private relaxing. Both Master's have jetted tubs, spacious showers, and walk-in closets.

This property will comfortably sleep 26 people in beds , making it the perfect place for a large family gathering. There are five bathrooms, two stoves and a breakfast bar that seats nine people at one time. The gigantic kitchen table has room enough for 18 people. Plus two high-chairs for the little ones.

There are puzzles to assemble, games to play, books to read and board games to conquer...Plenty to do, even after the sun goes down.

The perfect family cabin.

Steve and Karen are the perfect hosts and are so helpful in explaining everything about their cabin before you check in. The home was very clean, the views of the pond are amazing, and our family had a wonderful and creating lots of memories.

We had a great family reunion with our children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren at this cabin. The property had plenty of space for all of us to eat together in the beautiful kitchen with the very large table. The basement area was cool in the hotter July weather. The views are gorgeous. In addition to the wonderful house and Star Valley Ranch area, we explored Jackson and Afton. Steve and Karen were wondrrful hosts. They welcomed us warmly. It was a wondrrful experience!

It was a great place for our family to stay

It was a great location for all of the activities we wanted to do, it was clean, and comfortable. Our only complaint was that it got a little warm in the house in the afternoon, but it cooled off fast near sundown. Steve was great to work with and I was so amazed that he and his family built the cabin.

Beautiful Cabin Getaway

Couldn't have been happier with our stay here. The owners were incredibly accommodating and helpful. Cabin is in the perfect location, nestled in the trees right off the golf course and next to a pond. Nice open kitchen for family dinners and games. Highly recommend!

Nice cabin layout for family reunion. Our family consisted of 18 people age ranging from 11-78.

Awesome cabin, great deck to hang out on. Boys enjoyed golf course right next door. Grandkids enjoyed the pool. Went to Teton National Park for a great hike. Spent a day in Yellowstone. Overall awesome week with family!!

Wonderful place to gather as a family!

We recently had an amazing stay here with our large family, and it was an wonderful experience. The cabin is very large, spacious, impeccably clean, with beautiful woodwork that adds a charming rustic feel. The location is perfect – nestled in Star Valley, yet conveniently close to Jackson Hole and Palisades. This made it easy for us to explore the stunning surroundings while having a cozy and comfortable place to return to. Christmas in the woods

I’ve always wanted to have Christmas in the woods with my family. This was the perfect place to stay. We had a great time. Karin and Steve were great and easy to communicate with. The cabin is well stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every meal there and didn’t lack for anything. Everything is as it is listed.

Lots of elbow room

Plenty of room. The kids were able to really spread out. We were visited each morning by a doe and her fawn. Seems that the kitchen was the gathering area, no problem for 18 people.Every evening the boys 10yo to 7, played basketball with their dads. Great Fun! Overall a great stay.

Family paradise

This is a lovely property in the woods overlooking a golf course and a charming pond.The cabin is thoughtfully stocked. To the delight of my grandchildren deer and rabbits wandered through the property morning and evening. It is very clean and comfortable. I think the activities we had planned each day were just a distraction from the time my family wanted to spend at the cabin. Thank you so much Steve and Karin.

Wyoming wedding weekend

My brother in law got married at Preston ranch cabins, so we found this beautiful home to accommodate our large group! We were only 8 miles away from the wedding venue and were able to enjoy fishing, golfing and a quick trip to Jackson! The hosts are AMAZING! They are so sweet and very kind. The house is gorgeous and great for big groups who like to hang out together and spend time outside! Thanks Afflecks! We will be back!

Wonderful, but warm

Everything about this house was absolutely wonderful except for the heat. We were there in June. The view out the front windows was great. But you have to keep the shades closed in the afternoon due to the excessive heat. Since most windows don't open, there is no breeze. It got quite hot during the day. Fortunately, we used the wonderful deck. With the retractable awning there is a choice between sitting in sun or shade. Overall I would recommend this house.

Made a wonderful memory to last a lifetime!

First of all, Steve and Karin are such welcoming, helpful, and easy to like people you could ever meet. Everyone had fun picking their room and the grandsons were delighted when they realized they didn't have to sleep in the same bedroom with their sisters! We celebrated a birthday and were all able to be around the table which we have never done. Spent many evenings sitting on the porch with guitar and singing while kids played basketball with Grandpa on the driveway. But by far the highlight was staying up super late one night to lay back and see the stars! It was like nothing the kids had ever seen before. I know they will never forget all the wonderful moments we spent at this beautiful cabin!

A wonderful summer family getaway!!

We are a family of 11 ranging in age from 4 to 65. The house was a perfect fit for all ages. This beautiful home was very well stocked with high quality linens, kitchen ware, and appliances. We had everything necessary to cook all our meals at the house for a full week. The owners met us on site when we arrived to provide a complete overview of the home and were back again when we departed. They were very generous to open their entire home to our family and all of the little extras were sincerely appreciated; like the play kitchen and all the fake food for the little ones, the games, the golf carts, movies, stuffed animals, piano, etc. The location was fantastic to Afton, Jackson Hole, Tetons, etc. We were within 1 hour of world class hiking, rafting, biking, swimming, etc. The community the home is located in was very well kept with nice paved roads and the amenities were incredible. We golfed, swam, played tennis, went running, watched wildlife and it was all just outside the front door of this beautiful home. Our entire family felt at home here and would absolutely love to return.

It was a beautiful setting with plenty of room for our BIG family reunion

The property was GREAT. Very clean with a good stocked kitchen for cooking. Everything the listing described was available. The grandkids played basketball in the driveway. We played games on the lawn. Some of us went fishing in the pond. Some went for a jog around the neighborhood and even went for a hike into the east hills for half a day. We went to the pool and had a blast. We hiked to the intermittent spring in Afton. We also went to a good place to target practice that was close. The kitchen and living room was a hit because we could all sit down and eat together and visit without feeling crowded. Plenty of room to park cars on the driveway or street. Having 2 washers and dryers and refrigerators were a PLUS. We would recommend this house with it's amenities and good price to anyone. The owner was very available for questions also. Wonderful Vacation

This cabin was a wonderful place to stay. Lots of room, plenty of bedrooms. The kitchen and dining area was spacious and a great gathering place. The view of the pond and golf course was so peaceful. A cabin for everyone

The perfect cabin for our family get together, wedding, and 50th anniversary! We had 10 adults and 5 kids and this cabin was perfect for us. Plenty of room for everyone. Quiet peaceful neighborhood you didn’t feel like anyone was close. Gorgeous views and even a few deer. We couldn’t have dreamed of a more perfect place to spend the week. The owners were the sweetest and so inviting. We are already trying to figure out when we can return!

Karin and I have loved having this home as a gathering place for our family of nine children and 40+ grandchildren. Reunions, Thanksgiving, Christmas, honeymoons, anniversaries... are just a few memories that have come to mean so much to us. We are retired from the automotive parts distribution business. I am a serious fly-tier and fly fisherman. Some of the finest 'Blue Ribbon Fishing' is close by. We built this home as a gathering place for our family. It can be just that for you.

The Cabin @ Star Valley is designed to accommodate large groups...like family reunions or business retreats. You may want to visit Jackson Hole to do some shopping, visit an art gallery, see a movie, ride the white water rapids of the Snake River, go to dinner, listen to cowboy poetry or see a live play. You can hike local canyons to beautiful waterfalls.
The surrounding communities are full of western culture, hosting fairs real western rodeos and more. You won't want to miss a thing while staying at The Cabin @ Star Valley.

The Cabin @ Star Valley is on one of the very best lots on Star Valley Ranch. The large bay windows reveal a stocked fishing pond only 100 yards from the back porch. The spectacular view of the pond, golf course, fairways, towering aspen trees and lodge-pole pines is a sight to behold. The large bay windows bring the wonders of nature's beauty almost right inside with you.

You rent golf carts and all-terrain vehicles to help you get around and explore the wonders of nature around you! This is the view for anyone sitting at the 18 place dining table.

The gourmet kitchen has two of everything...ovens, stove (one gas, the other electric).

Each bedroom on the lower level has a decorative theme. The Cowboy Room, the Lighthouse room, the Lovebird's Nest, the Norwegian room and the Disney room. There are two laundry rooms; one on the main level, the other downstairs.
