Waterfront Home with Pier Lake O' the Pines - Acorn Timbers

Acorn Timbers is a lake front vacation rental on beautiful Lake O' the Pines. Fish, swim, and dock your boat at on-site fishing pier. Complimentary canoe, paddleboat, and 2 kayaks are provided for your use. Shop in historic Jefferson or enjoy the casinos in Shreveport. Or just relax and enjoy the sunsets, deer, and birds like our piliated woodpeckers. All you need to bring is your food and clothes.

We also have Acorn Timbers apartment across the drive in a separate building that is also available for rental. .

Better than expected!

This property was very quiet and peaceful. Not a far drive from local attractions and the house was perfect. We will most definitely look into staying here again.

Peaceful retreat

Easy check-in process. Beautiful lakefront property with fishing pier/ swimming. Deck to sit and watch wildlife and sunsets. Enjoyed our stay.

Great place very nice host

Very nice place been here several times very clean and every evening we could see deer in the back yard. If you are looking for quiet weekend this is the place.

Beautiful lake front property. The home was very clean and well organized. Everything we needed and more was there. They have inner tubes and kayaks available and a lovely dock for fishing or just laying out. The owners are right next door if you needed anything which we did not, but still nice to know they were close by. It was really hot while we were there and the house stayed really cool. Would definitely rebook.

Relaxing

Our Happy Place

This has become an annual trip for us. We love the cabin. Everything is labeled for ease of finding things, cabin is clean, and the bed is so comfortable. We fish on the dock, there are kayaks available, watch the birds, we enjoy the deer that visit, and the view is amazing! Just left but can’t wait to rent this place again!

Family Trip to Jefferson

We enjoyed our stay following Christmas so much! The house fit our family perfectly and it was in such a pretty area surrounded by nature, the lake and trees. We saw deer outside our door each day and we were able to wind down and relax here. The hosts take care of everything through communication directly and with notes in the cabin. We loved our stay! Thank you!

Fishing trip

This rental was fantastic! The property owner helped us with boat parking and battery charging. Will definitely come back. BTW saw LOTS of deer!!

Awesome!

Overall it was awesome place very nice and clean and peaceful, there was nothing that we didn’t need bc the house was fully stocked with even charcoal!!! I know in the description it says that the renters leave right beside you but they never bothered us and when we were in need of even worms to fish with they had us covered

Grandma/gkids campout

Every year, my grandkids go camping, and this year we decided to rent a cabin instead of using a camper. This place was exceptionally wonderful. The kids had access to fishing and swimming and boating. We were going to put restraints on their electronics, but then even have to, because they were so self entertained. We will consider staying there again. Donna was very accommodating with everything. We had a total of eight people, myself, my daughter, and six grandkids age 15, and under there was something for everyone.
