Good location
The location was great…the place was okay. When we got there the door was open so I was very cautious when going in. I didn’t know if someone was in there or not. The front door looked like it had been busted in a few times from prior. The tv was hard to work as you had to be up close to work the remote in the front living room. After the first night, I killed the biggest cockroach I had ever seen. Had to be 3” long and and 1” wide. After I kille it, I was very apprehensive about leaving any food on the counters…and the next morning I killed another small cockroach by the door. I think the place definitely needs to make sure the pest control is done! After those instances, I kept the food in the fridge or microwave. There were plenty of towels and the toiletries were very skimpy. Had one roll of toilet paper for each bathroom. We brought our own shampoo and soap so that wasn’t an issue. I didn’t report the bug issue as what was the property management going to do? I figured nothing so what was the point. We left a few complimentary items in the closet like some sand toys and inner tubes for the next people. We had a pump so I would remind buying one and placing it in the closet. The weather was beautiful and make sure you reserve your chairs and umbrella for the beach, you will need it. Like I said the place was okay, a bit out dated, needs work on the tv remotes, and definitely needs a pest company to come in a spray the place.
